Yes, holding up well despite the terrible news a couple weeks ago.
Dilution is definitely a worry.
I'm more concerned about who they choose as the new CEO, or if they stick with recent in-house replacement Denkin. Bianco gave me hope he could grow a business as he did with Alliance Entertainment. We really needed a wheeler-dealer to get those lab partnerships. Story could unfold much more slowly now unfortunately.
Thank you for such a well thought out post WingedOne! Among the best I have seen here the last several months. Hopefully you are correct or on the right path with some of your ideas.
Awesome, love that volume explosion! Somebody with $$$ has a good idea something nice is close to happening :)
Yes, chart looks great with 20/50 crossover!
Glad I was able to add another 10% to my holdings this past week.
Would have liked to continue building over the summer but if that was my last chance to purchase at these levels so be it :)
Go back through the press releases and listen to the conference calls on the company website in the investor section. Would be happy to discuss but don't have the time to explain all the details. The company does a fantastic job of that, far better than I can. Just have to take the time to read and listen.
That is the million dollar question and why I like DIGP more than other testing companies :) If anyone wants the data and how much they might be willing to pay for it remains to be seen.
As far as I know no data has been sold yet. It's being collected and compiled with every test. The beauty is DIGP is getting paid while they do it!
I don't think DIGP are necessarily aiming to be bought out by one particular company. DIGP would probably be happy for many, many companies to pay for access to their data. But if one company wants the database bad enough (big or small pharma) and offer enough for it then maybe DIGP could be purchased.
In the meantime, need to continue building the database. CA samples up next later this year, or 2019 worst case. Hoping DIGP has first-mover advantage, at least of publicly traded companies.
IMO from listening to conference calls and updates DIGP don't sound concerned with rapidly expanding testing markets. They sound happy just to partner up and not have to raise tons of capital expanding.
The vision here, again my opinion, is to break even or make a bit of money while gathering and compiling data along the way for the big payoff. Drug company buyout for the date or sell access to their database to drug companies. It will take years to pan out but I'm willing to wait it out and continue to accumulate at these low prices :)
I've got nothing. Waiting on progress and to see if we get diluted before deciding to add more. Have a good chunk but if things look good this fall will keep buying. Need that California lab open ASAP!
I am keeping real cool and adding a few WMIH shares to my stash every few weeks. Do you think I have much time to continue adding? Any guess on worst-case scenario of how long we might have to wait on WMIH to "show us the way"? 2019? 2020?
Would paying attention mean holding strong if we happen to be issued shares for our markers and then the price of WMIH tanked temporarily as everyone rushed to sell and get some cash in hand? That would be tough to ride a 50-75% haircut after a 10 year wait. Hopefully my resolve isn't tested further. Might have to unplug the computer for a while :)
I'm waiting for a HLCE from my escrow markers, but in the meantime added a bit more WMIH yesterday :) And I'll continue to add if the price remains here or if they crash it down to fill the much lower gap. I have no idea what will happen with the price in coming weeks and months, but looks like an incredibly favorable risk/reward in over the course of several years.
Fantastic to see the volume exploding :)
I am really interested in following the story rest of 2018 and beyond. The action with volume regardless of price is very exciting :)
Most likely this will be a long, boring summer for DIGP. Plenty of time to add to position until fall/winter.
I'm curious what was the market cap of KMart when it hit $175?
A WMIH move to $175 would be a 130 bagger putting market cap at approximately 35 billion.
JPM is 370B so 1/10th of that I guess could be in the realm of possibility in a best case scenario.
But if lots more shares are issued either for escrow or to acquire additional companies that $175 will be much tougher to achieve.
Will do Phosphene! I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but the risk/reward here looks more promising than about 99% of stocks I consider.
Curious what others think MYMX market cap could top out at in a best case scenario. 500M?
Thank you for all the posts and links this week everyone!
Added another 20% to my position. The possibility of a MYMX buyout sure sounds nice. Wonder what kind of price it would take? Growing on their own long term would probably make the most money, but not sure I'd be able to hold all the shares for the full ride. Best to all!
DIGP hanging tough so far as we roll into summer.
Volume hasn't completely dried up, some out there are still adding and keeping us around .19 most days. Very encouraging if we can stay in this range through September and build a nice base for late 2018 into 2019. The dullest of times through the summer but fall/winter should start to get interesting. Holding strong and will add more if we stay here!
Oh boy, once ClayTrader starts posting chart links on your board some serious up/down momo trading usually follows.
Perhaps someone in his group knows something about the "Embedded Derivative Function" and how much longer it may control the price of WMIH.
If not knowledge based and this is an attempt to excite the stock with momo traders, best of luck trying to move WMIH against the "EDF" the next couple of weeks :)
Don't know who is or is not, but I am adding some shares as able to along the way.
Regardless of what happens with escrow markers WMIH is interesting on it's own acquiring a company nearly 10 times larger by market cap. How often do we see this happen? Investors and funds many, many times smarter then myself purchasing millions and millions of WMIH shares.
I am just following the breadcrumbs left by others again, just as I did many years ago leading me to acquire a bit of the different flavors of original WAMU. Even with (zero) escrow marker returns I still did well with those original purchases. Hoping to double down with a decent return on WMIH in the coming years. Good fortune to you!
If the Newco (WMIH) is the tell...
Then it was telling me at 1.34 to free up some cash and add 20% to my position, so I followed directions :) Wish I had cash on hand months earlier at lower prices but raising a family and building a business is expensive. I think shares at this level still offer attractive ROI potential.
My escrow markers are excited to participate, but if WMIH is the tell then I'd like to participate there as it should happen first.
I wonder what the duration will be between WMIH appreciation and escrow participation? Days/weeks or months/years.......
I couldn't even imagine getting those numbers Dmdmd2020 posted. They are mind boggling! And you say that's possibly conservative? How much higher could escrow shares potentially go from there? Not disputing any of this, just in awe of the possibility.
If I saw those figures in my account I may die of a heart attack and not get to enjoy any of it :)
Nice volume today. Good time to accumulate over the long summer. Listening to the interview sounds like it will be a scramble to have Humboldt lab open bringing in revenue before the end of 2018. Would have been nice to be open for business mid-summer, but what are you going to do? Expansion usually always takes longer than hoped for. Same with stock price appreciation :) Still happy to hold this for a few years unless they crush us with dilution!
Love the news! One of the main reasons I like the other company so much, good to see EVIO taking steps in this direction.
If the terms of the merger haven't changed and the merger hasn't closed the price isn't going anywhere any time soon besides up or down a few pennies. Regardless of a buy or sell of even 10M shares.
After the merger is complete the market can try to establish a more fair value. But even then stocks tend to get over or under valued.
Absolutely beautiful volume. I might have to add a bit more this week. What a fantastic sign to have that type of interest prior to the merger!
I'm clicking the "like" button here :)
Price is stuck until merger is complete, terms of merger are changed or merger falls through. Until then it's going to be pretty much 1.37-1.43 or so day after day after day.
After the report from the "other one (EV*O)" I'm somewhat satisfied more of my eggs are in this basket than the other one for now.
DIGP has less than half the market cap of the other one and revenues aren't too far behind with a NV lab that had to deal with suspension. Think the % gain will be better here with DIGP over the next couple years, but what do I know. Can only buy some shares, follow the story and see if management executes. Everyone *should* be able to make good profit on both in time.
In the meantime many are frustrated with the slow (or declining) revenue growth. I'd have hoped DIGP would have that CA lab up and running as quickly as possible in the summer. The original Humboldt lab PR said "hope to be operational in early Q1 2018 just after the state-wide adult-use market is expected to launch".
Now we get word of "full operations are expected to begin by year-end."
Is the temporary facility going to produce revenue between now and year end with the initial county approval?
From 5/15 report:
The number of shares of registrant’s common stock outstanding as of May 14, 2018 was 40,437,042.
Previous Q Report:
The number of shares of registrant’s common stock outstanding as of February 9, 2018 was 39,268,133.
Ha, I wish I could have that effect!
*Whoever* had to dump some shares to keep the price in check. Let the accumulation continue for however many more days/weeks. The dam will burst soon enough :)
Nice volume today so far! Inching closer and closer to closing this deal and perhaps price can move freely in the near future. I'll keep adding dabs here and there along the way. Exciting times for WMIH not too far ahead :)
Holding up fine so far even with the revenue disappointment. Pesticide testing back online April 1st so everything should be good moving forward with a bump back up in gross margins going forward.
Even if the Q was disappointing there WAS year over year revenue growth DESPITE all the growing pains and setbacks in the mix. Shares outstanding up around 1.1M this Q, need to keep that in check. Hopefully clear sailing ahead!
I do think things will be ok here. I posted a bit in my last reply to another message about their database plans. Could be extremely valuable information in the future.
There will be more labs coming along soon. CA should be pretty quick. Business will be booming for the entire sector, just still in early stages here getting things ramped up. Bumps in the road.
I am in the other one as well, added more this week :) I look for the "other one" to be dominant in testing revenue.
The plan here from what I can tell is to make money from testing while compiling a database, essentially for free. DIGP could very well end up being database #1, testing #2. Other one wants to own as many labs as possible, or have a large stake in a partnership lab and will dilute to get them. DIGP may end up partnering, taking a smaller slice of revenue to pay the bills while keeping dilution to a minimum. That's one avenue at least.
Not sure the "other one" is going to pursue the database angle. I am a fan of both and think an investor can do well in each stock over a period of years.
Well report is out and revenue looks terrible quarter over quarter. It is explained why the decrease, but nowhere near as good as I was hoping for. Frankly, it's disappointing.
Still poised for huge future growth, but it doesn't appear to be anytime soon. Would like to hear conference call and hopefully expansion is just around the corner. Not throwing in the towel, but not running out and doubling down my position tomorrow either :)
We could bounce off .15 if revenues this quarter were flat. I'm waiting to see if there is bad or boring news this Q report. Fall/winter should be when things get exciting. I'll continue to add over the summer if DIGP keeps floundering around at .20 or lower.
Ugh, never say never. Sure enough something *possibly* did jump up and bite. Will depend on what the company does with the shares, if they even use any of them. If used, hopefully wisely to grow the business and not dilute shareholders while drawing cash out of a dying company. This doesn't strike me as one of those situations, but never say never. Still looks like a favorable risk/reward play.
Glad my initial position was a couple nibbles at higher levels. Might load a bit more up here soon after prices stabilize.
50 cents and beyond shouldn't be a problem if DIGP can execute the plans they have made public. It's just a matter of execution and time.
Looks like we even added a smidge of volume today :)
Yes, extremely quiet with volume drying up. Hopefully next week or so we will see revenue at least reamining steady quarter over quarter with the lab losing days. Any growth would be a bonus for me. Then onward and upward for years to come :)
Thank you for all of your wonderful research and messages here AZCowboy. Truly appreciated!!! Have put in many, MANY hours of reading this board the past couple of weeks to get re-acquainted with the goings-on.
I have been mostly asleep at the wheel with the past several years with my various escrow markers, but have recently awakened to find my car has not only NOT crashed off the side of the highway but instead the vehicle has been guided just short of the destination much to my delight :)
I have *hopefully* taken and continue to take advantage of the "controlling mechanism" in place to keep WMIH range bound by adding shares recently. Now it remains to be seen whether the mechanism has been in place to keep WMIH below true value, or above. Looking forward to finding out if it was held below until the merger, and possibly find out soon :)
