IJO,
They either found financing or the past quarter had a bump in revenue. My feeling is the latter, but we shall see soon enough when the quarterly comes out. Nevertheless, I agree that LJC has been neutralized, at least for the moment. Let's hope that continues.
bank
No, I didn't think so.

Inacumen -
As per FBD - he has his own opinions.
As per you - you have Coastie's opinions.
Anything you'd like to add?
bank
Um, I vote "agenda"
bank
Inacumen,
Actually, the best part is that you are personally invited to a live demonstration of a BIB in action if you choose to accept when the invitation is given.
I'll make it easy for you. You have 2 choices:
1) I accept the invitation, or
2) I decline the invitation.
Obviously, you don't have to give an answer until the public invitation is offered to you, and, believe me, it will be public - plenty of time to come up with a conspiracy theory between now and then.
I'm looking forward to finally meeting you in person.
Best Regards,
bank
FBD -
You are spot on.

Interesting, the aerostat on the website looks exactly like the design from the Sanswire site ala the Wayback Machine that someone posted recently. Uncanny. And scary.
bank
WW, IJO,
When were they tested and do we know how they did? The picture doesn't give me a lot confidence in their stability. Curious to know, thanks.
bank
Yeah, I'll be curious to see what, if anything, it tells us down the road. To be honest, I really wish this stock was tradable - for many reasons. Thanks for paying attention for us.
bank
RW, keeping in mind that normal rules of TA haven't seemed to be applicable to our little stock, I believe your analysis is a reasonable explanation. The question is - why?
bank
And to think I put him on ignore and almost missed the fun. My bad.
bank
Well, I guess if you're in a mountain position with a BIB, then maybe your line of site is greater than 30 miles or less than 30 miles, depending on which way you're looking.
bank
Hog, on a 2000 foot tether, the line of sight is approximately 30 miles. I hope that gives some perspective.
bank
I want a small Argus Hybrid. Just sayin'.
bank
Yep. That's them.
IJO, yes, the magic bullet right now is the BIB, no doubt. The company can modify it upon request for different scenarios, it will shortly have documented real world workloads put upon it which is important from a validity standpoint, the various Army units will look at it and probably want one (assuming it all works well) and there's plenty of margin in it from what I can figure. Kind of a no-brainer at this point to be pushing really hard on demos and sales of these things. If what you say is true in regards to Glen's work ethic (and I have no reason to doubt you or others who have met him) then I really have to believe that we are finally at a turning point. I agree with what you and others are saying that the next follow up contract is an important catalyst. First, it probably succeeds in ridding the company of LJ and second, it will confirm validity of the product which would invite better funding prospects as well as give us a legitimacy in the sector.
Btw, I think it would take more like 300 Argus units to reach 900m.
Have a good weekend, my friend.
bank
I think to expect a reasonable conversation with you on the topic of this company would be far more foolish. Have a great day.
bank
ONLY a fool? Please explain. Thanks.
bank
I appreciate that, Indy. The idea is very intriguing and, as they say, the only good ideas are the ones that are successfully acted on. I'll be in touch.
bank
IJO, thanks again for your insight. It's always appreciated.
OK. So, just for the sake of discussion, nothing else, we get 150 current WSGI investors to pony up $1000 each and we buy a commercially viable rig. I'm sure this is a drop-in-the-bucket compared to the investments most of us have tendered. But,I would almost consider the $1000 like buying a call option in this scenario. Let me explain. (I know this may sound ridiculous to some, but it's just a whimsical discussion.) So, we troll the real estate market, the law-enforcement market, the video production market and we make a couple of sales for production and use those production videos and experiences for marketing the bird. The important thing here is not the $1000 each has invested; the important thing is the mileage we get from the shameless promotion of the WSGI BIB that would ensue - shameless promotion that the SEC has no governance over. We could effectively promote the company's product, while, at the same time, put it to use for cool projects. It's self-promotion for the small business we've created and, more importantly, it's self-promotion for WSGI's growing market, and hopefully, rise in stock value. Ulterior motives can be worthy, no?
Thanks for bringing constructive dreaming to the board, IJO.

Funny I was thinking earlier today how cool it would be to have a local BIB club with multiple owners of a single BIB. And, the "club" could rent out the use of the unit for various applications and pay the owners their money back plus have a sh*tload of fun in the process. Just a thought. . .
bank
No, as shareholders we can't stop what's happening with LJ directly. And I'm so happy that the talent of our IHUB board members is rising to the surface and producing a ton of great research and ideas.
But, it does bring up the question with me again about the LJ funding. Why did the company feel so strongly about this deal with LJ? Were they at the end of their ropes, ala last ditch effort? Or, was it simply the lesser of evils compared to other offers at the time? Or, did they actually see some redeeming qualities in the deal? And, if the latter, I'd like to know what that perspective might have been. But, regardless, my lingering question is, why did management feel this was in the best interest of the company? I'm not judging it because I don't have their perspective, but I would seriously like an explanation at some point. When you look at the charts, it is evident that LJ killed about half of the market cap within a few months (roughly speaking). Clearly, that outcome, that management must have known would be forthcoming, was not in the best interest of the shareholders.
Curious if anyone here can set me straight. It sure has been bugging me. Thanks.
bank
RW, I like that idea a lot better than more share offerings by the company. Keep thinking out of the box!
bank
IMO yes, of course. eom.
What's all the talk of not being able to acquire helium anywhere? Apparently we don't have that problem. It just seems like a weird conversation from beginning to end.

Crow Pie, with or without the feathers... same delicious treat, especially for those with mouth stretched so wide open having put their feet in there so many times. LMAO
Warp, I know Pagan has deleted my previous posts on Crow Pie recipes, etc., and with good reason, but I had to chuckle again. Pagan, you have every right and I really do appreciate your willingness to take on the thankless job of moderator. My best to all longs, and especially to those who are actively seeking better ways for OUR company to succeed.

Funny, I thought of the same hilarious, nefarious "meeting of the minds" vignette. Must we laugh through all of that as well? Oh, OK, so be it. Bring it on!
To quote a respected poster "This board is great". And I'm proud to say I actually mean that.
bank
It's even more interesting in a train-wreck-sort-of-way when you know her background. And, you very well may. LOL.
bank
A billion+ for starters? Nice appetizer. Can't wait for the main course.

Just home from Haiti to hear the excellent news. What a great day for our little company. Kudos GE and all!
bank
Thanks, man. Keep the fires burnin'. Eom.
Thanks BBB. Much appreciated. eom.
Thanks. bank.
IJO, I didn't say I didn't believe you. It's just that it seems to me that different applications have their own point of diminishing returns in regards to distance, that's all. If you need a quick look at a natural disaster and need to see hundreds of square miles, you would need a fleet of BiBs at 400'. Hey, wait a minute, that would be good for us, no? A fleet of Bibs? C'mon GE!
Off to Haiti. Get that SP up while I'm gone, would ya?

Looks like Santa and his sledmates may have been enjoying a wee bit too much holiday cheer. Let's hope they make it.
Happy Holidays Nil and All. God Bless.

Good summary, Ren.

No problem. It's just hard having to go back through it all again. And, honestly, yesterday's posts were many. Good luck.
