a) no things have not gone downhill over and over again. Alxa has made progress. They are now up for EU and FDA approval here. They mite be able to secure both.
b) a lot of CEO's get what can be argued as excessive compensation
That's just slander man. Need proof and evidence
More people on twitter think this is going to 6.00+ on a runup into it's december catalysts. FDA approval is expected. The EU approval is a bit more uncertain(it's their first time thru with them).
Oh, she used to with me. But ceased responding completely to me in August.
Why is this down at 1.6c? Do people really think the whole BioWatch Gen 3 program is gonna be cut/scrapped? Isn't it a lot more likely that, if there is cuts to it, that they will just be partial? Ie. say 5-30% for ex. And also, has anybody heard anything from Tomek lately? Is she replying to anybody?
Dumb money dumping their shares at 52 week, and all time lows..cud be 1 large tax loss seller perhaps..its at a nice discount here..im buying..and we cud see more insider buying too potentially any day now
$ALXA weak hands selling the last of their shares I think, before the run to 6.00 fuelled by the 2 december catalysts.
Added $ALXA at 5.00. Think it will be bottom here before running to 6.00 into it's December catalysts.
Bot $YMI at 1.55, 1.54, and 1.53.
Why didn't they put a p/r out for this?
Pisd: that's a good point imo...it's not 3.1b all at once..that's over a multi-year period (not sure how many exactly)...as you put, it's 89m at first for testing phase contracts
Drew: what's DTRA?
Sparky, Why would you this is a different direction for PSID?? Seems to me that that is not the case at all..that this is just another contract that they are applying for in the bio-threat sector. So i really think your description of this is inaccurate.
Thing is tho that PSID's market cap is only about $2.5m. Based on this it could be argued that the s.p. shouldn't fall much lower.
I think that's a good point. However, in respect to O'Toole's reported view of things, what good is a 'proactive' that doesn't work? She's arguing for a 'reactive' that at least will contribute a bit of worth. In her opinion/view.
Misleading post bg17...Homeland Security isn't killing Biowatch. We don't know what will happen yet. It's still under review, discussion, deliberation. Your made it sound like a done decision, which is not the case at all.
It was 300 shares man. I think it was somebody who spent a few hundred dollars in hopes that it would scare longs. Otherwise, those 300 shares could have been sold at open for 1.20 (and saved the seller the few hundred dollars).
When was this announced that they were targetting to resubmit shortly after Labor Day? I must have missed this
I agree, it seemed to me to meet the FDA's requirements for Fast Track. We don't know why the FDA rejected it
Long DCTH here...was 1.71 last wed at h.o.d. Nice 29% discount. A lot of bashing saying financing is coming this month. Why would company financing at a multiple year low s.p. when they came wait until q1-q2 2013 for when the s.p. has strong odds to be bunch higher on the 'runup' biotech stocks tend to see into their pdufa's?
Also 28.3m$ of cash as of 9.30, and they have atm and a credit facility. So no dire need to finance that i see in 2012.
Well yes. He sold the company to PSID for 1.2$m of stock and cash up front. (And potentially 7.0$m more). Why would he do this if MFSI can get millions of dollars in contracts from BioWatch Gen 3??
Also, how did PSID acquire MFSI so cheaply? PSID paid $1.2m up front (stock + cash)..plus owe another $7.0m potentially if certain targets are met. Why would the execs of MFSI sell their company for so little? Considering that they are now in the running for these massive BioWatch contracts. Seems fishy to me. Did the MFSI execs not know that this BioWatch bidding was coming up then? I would have to doubt that at the moment.
Analysis?
5.10.2011 p/r: http://investors.positiveidcorp.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=575723
So is it now just 89$m of contract money at hand for the next 2-3 years? (per 10.22 p/r). And then after that the bigger contracts will be put to bid??
Well long HZNP again on this big pullback from the opening print of 12.3k at 2.47.
Willing sellers under 2.20 now drying up at the moment...i've been trying to get a fill of more shares as it looks to me like stronger buying interest than selling interest has finally come in.
Are you guys dumping here? I'm buying here...even more of long risk has been cut out with the price having been beaten down to 2.50 to 2.10. On Monday morning there is the Rayos launch presenation, and on Tuesday morning is earnings. Also has a catalyst of Duexis MAA approval which is expected by end of year per Jorge Aura's Oct. 9 seekingalpha article.
Yes. But why would their goal be to deflate the share price? Wouldn't they rather wanna load up if the company is really undervalued and that they can earn a great return on investment when the s.p. calibrates upward?
I think being under a "blackout period" or the like is an excuse a lot of companies use to deflect from the fact they are not putting there money where their mouth is.
And if they are really concerned about getting charged by the SEC for illegal insider buying (which rarely happens..and when it does, it's almost always for selling, rather than buying), they can i believe utilize a 10b5-1 plan that is approved by the SEC, and thus eliminates this exact risk.
I'm not a bpax shareholder any longer, if any of you get an answer from mgmt why they are not buying i would be interested to hear.
I just have one question to pose here..stock is at all-time lows, so why isn't management purchasing shares in the open-market?
I added HZNP. Lot of weak hands sold there. Thing has a good shot of strengthening now I think.
Never mind the additional sales Greasyfingers..what the heck happened to the 15000 unit order to Receptors from 10.20.2010?http://investors.positiveidcorp.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=520694
Allison Tomek stopped responding to my inquiries two months ago. I'm wondering why...and why has there not been any insider buying of stock in the open market if the company is so undervalued?
And thirdly, just wtf happened to the order of 15000 units of iGlucose that was announced 10.20.2010?? Like come on...http://investors.positiveidcorp.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=520694
Why another n/r missing from ihub? Today's n/r: http://ir.navidea.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=68527&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1752222&highlight=
Need an answer...how does Libigel differ from Instrinsa? Intrinsa was mentioned in the answer to the first question. What indication is/was Instrinsa for? And Libigel is for the specific indication of 'Hypotactive sexual disorder' right?
That's what i'm wanting to know specifically please.
More a.h. prints...22,253 at $1.3785, and 8,000 at $1.3785
BPAX needs to majority shareholder approval for the ANI merger...so if you guys don't like it, you can vote no. I'm voting yes, if i'm a shareholder at the time the vote takes place. 5:20 mark of the presentation is when he mentions this.
you think teva is going generic on its own drug? Biotgel? Seems odd to me
Yes, thanks. What is "NOL" btw?! It was not defined.
Actually there was more than 1 question asked..listening to the replay..the additional questions got cut off on the initial live feed of his talk appraently..
Wonder if we'll see a bounce? Started by short-covering buying and then a bit more on "technical oversold buying" from technical traders.
