If this was all a scam as some here have insinuated, why in heaven's name would the company put out a PR like the one released yesterday? It makes ZERO sense! A scam would have played PRs to the hilt, and Quasar has not done that. This is real IMO......delays are just part of the process here. Nothing more, nothing less. Holding my shares!
Remember now, the last PR seems to confirm that at least a portion of the money is in the bank! We might get more detail on that on Thursday......I guess the best case scenario is that its all in the bank and the next PR confirms. If thats the case, then the PPS will appreciate rapidly with rapid infusion of buyers hopping in before this gets too far away from them.
Last post of the day and I am now off on vacation until Friday. Good luck to everyone the rest of this week and I look forward to bluer skies with Quasar in the days to come.
Over and out.........
Wonder if we can all fit in that conference room on Thursday.
Sorry........that was a bad post on my part. I don't know with any certainty that SB couldn't sell your shares for you. I recommend that anyone with an SB account simply call the brokerage and fact find. There's a logical answer. Sorry if I made you nervous.....apologies!
I'm a TD guy.......sorry to hear you can't trade it. Hope they can straighten it out for you. Good luck!
You didn't answer my post in terms of the people/reputations involved. How do you explain that? Thanks. I'm trying to debate you on the merits. I'll give you one more chance......if you simply come back and tell me QASP is a scam with another exclamation point, we're done.
Non event unless you're a SB client..........zzzzzzz!!
So simply add QASP to the list of "pretty decent stocks" that can't be purchased through SB. I'm sure they'll explain it logically in an e-mail response. Its a negative if you're trying to add to your position or sell, but IMO it has nothing to do with the company or its reputation per se.
Knew THAT was coming......sad.
There is a logical explanation for this. Their e-mail response should calm all the "nervous nellies".
I know.......I'm just trying to playfully debate the man. Bored. GLTY......fellow long! We'll get there!
That implies scam unless I'm not reading you correctly, so I again go back to my point of why some of the players listed on the team would hitch their wagons to an operation like this. Even if Mr. Bradley didn't have anything to lose, they certainly would. I just can't make that connection in my brain Samples..makes no sense. If Quasar does fail, it won't be because its a scam....just my thoughts.
I guess my point to you is that if he has been forced to dilute to keep certain business interests alive like he's intimated, then that is where the flexibility comes into play. I know its just my opinion, but my DD and gut instinct tells me that he wasn't lying when he's stated to a number of investors that the issuance of shares is to hold onto these interests until the loan is closed. Diluting for that reason is light years different from diluting for the sake of diluting. We just disagree on the motive. What do all these people with reputations to protect have to gain by scamming to the tune of $15 million in total stock value? Makes zero sense in the big picture scheme of things. I believe there is a strategic business plan in place. He's looking down the road, but, and no offense, but I wonder if you're not looking over the hood. Think of the strategic business plan as a four lane highway, and the tactical moves he's made as lane changes not of his choosing. But, he's still on the highway headed in the same direction.
As far as a multi-billion dollar company, we don't know. And as far as flying in one of his planes by the seat of his pants, that's just an emotional comment designed to scare people.
Good luck to you Samples.....you never answered my question to you by the way.......are you invested here? If not, what is your motivation to bash this stock? Truly curious. Sorry if that is privileged info.
All the best........
Cautiously optimistic.......lets see how the rest of the trading day plays out. Too early to tell yet, but DBABs activity is certainly encouraging. If true that the buyback has begun, IMO it foreshadows big news on Thursday in regards to acquisitions/funding. I'm just going to sit back and observe.
By the way, I'll be away from my computer starting this evening until Friday on a short vacation. Hoping to come home to good news!
Or with the State Dept connection, a foreign parts supplier.
Concur.......no one in their right mind (yes, Dean is in his right mind) would do a deal like this without knowing the hard numbers. Very deliberate and may be tied to further operations in some way, shape, or form.
Break it up guys......the parts can be new or remanufactured, but will be required to meet highly exacting standards by FAA/ICAO regulations or they won't be installed on an aircraft. This is not the stuff you'll find at the Jack and Pat's Military Surplus Store in your local town. Apples and oranges.
Fine if you want to argue that the helicopter parts joint business venture is "junk". I take exception to those that would say Quasar just bought a bunch of aircraft parts from a junkyard. That is a total mischaracterization of what happened here and simply puts everyone's investment here at greater risk. Then again, that was likely the aim of the post in question.....to scare away the uninformed, small investor. Money does such funny things to people......ok, maybe not so funny. The behavior of greed is a sad thing to witness.
None taken......one of those professions where you're trained that way. I heard the CEO of our company once say that if we were 99.9% safe in moving our passengers, we'd lose one airframe a day. No room for error generally speaking. I just figure if I protect my little pink a@#, everyone behind me will likely be fine. GLTY!
Yes....the checks and balances put in place by the FAA when it comes to aircraft maintenance prevent "junkyard" parts from being installed on aircraft....helicopter, fixed wing, or otherwise. Sign offs by inspectors, documentation of fixes, parts installed, etc. prevent this very scenario. Too much liability if you do anything less.
You guys posting this misinformation need to stop and get your facts straight.......understand? You make it sound like the aviation industry has zero standards......what a crock!!
If I thought "junkyard" parts had been installed on my 767 before leaving the gate, I'd walk off the jet with my passengers and crew in tow!
"Junkyard" parts is a HUGE mischaracterization of what is happening with this venture!! The liability issues alone for doing such a thing would be massive. Spare aircraft parts are manufactured to exacting standards for obvious reasons....failure in flight carries with it the potential for catastrophic consequences and huge lawsuits for the manufacturer/distributor. People characterizing it as such are clueless and certainly are not in the aviation industry. Just simply an attempt to bash, nothing more.....nothing less!
Signed.......a professional airline pilot (in the business and know what I'm talking about)
That was me.....I think this PR tells us exactly how this is unfolding in terms of acquisitions. Money released as needed from funding source to close the deals. Makes sense too if Lundquist is overseeing bond sales in London and is piping the money to QASP account as its raised. What is the revenue/EBITBA on acquisition #3. Anyone pull that up yet?
I hope this is a nice steady increase in PPS without the "pop" that many are expecting. Want to see solid support build under us as we go up! That's the kind of manipulation I want to see now. Who's with me.
Here's the bottom line and its been said before. I think the real share value will start to reflect when filings are completed. IMO we will now see a pop of nice proportions, things will settle, and then when filings are made, the stock will seek an appropriate level. Holding for the journey now...good luck everyone!
What's to think about? Money is in the bank to close #3. Its seems as though despite the lump sum assertion back in Dec, this funding is going to come in blocks to close the acquisitions vs. a lump sum. This is confirmatory to me that this is all real. Hard to have been through this, but we're seeing things more clearly now...go QASP.
Or .0096 cents worth.
Is it remotely possible that you don't know the full story yet? I have a feeling when this all comes to light as to why dilution, timeline slips, etc., we'll all be saying the same thing.."Ahaa, now I understand." JMO Amazz....good luck. Whether a bull or bear, we're all just conjecturing at this juncture.
Holding too.......not concerned.
Bullseye.....my biggest reason for staying in this one. Scams by their nature aren't this elaborate. Very few for sure. Was taught in POW training in the military.....if you're going to lie to your interrogators, keep the story simple. Not the case here!
My dad taught me when driving to not look over the hood but further on down the road.....tactical vs. strategic. Being in this stock requires a fundamental change in viewpoints from tactical to strategic. Day traders are tactical...investors are strategic. I wish you all the best Parker and time will tell whether you made the right choice or not. I know its tough. I want everyone here to profit from this trade. We get some right and get some wrong.....I hope my DD is right on this one.
I believe that Dean is saavy enough with his market experience to make every attempt possible to acquire these shares at the lowest possible price. Why would you pay $1.50 for a soda when you can get it for $1.00 right next door? This is, simply put, good business practice........its all about the bottom line for Quasar too. IMO if you thought that the buyback would drive the PPS north hard and fast, you were wrong. Too many ways to manipulate PPS to the advantage of the company not to take advantage of it for the long term health of Quasar. Seems like the most likely scenario in play here and the one that passes the "common sense" test/logic test. GLTA.
Why do you wish such ill will for the people invested in this stock?
I think we need ankle bracelets on these two guys.....
I agree with what you are saying, but we're not there yet, at least IMO we're not. My DD tells me this company will be a major player in the aerospace industry by the fall. Hang in there Art and I wish you the best of luck in whatever decision you make and in all your investments! I feel your pain dude!
One of the major problems I see with investors in this company is that they keep wanting to pin down a date for funding, etc. When I invested, I never took a date into consideration. Very, very natural to want to do, because we ALL want to see our money grow. But I've tried to change my paradigms and view this company from a standpoint of the strategic business plan in place as my primary reason for investing. The fact of the matter is that if you invested here, you have to a large extent put your faith in the vision of Mr. Bradley.....no choice in that matter right? (other than sell). But, none of us know what is going on behind the scenes that would cause delays to such a large funding package or any other issues such as the buyback. I do not believe at all that Dean is simply here to swindle a few million dollars from penny stock investors......makes ZERO sense! He's dealing with issues we don't have visibility on. Investing in micro stocks involves solid DD and then a trust level that your money is well placed. But, the funding will not come on your timetable.....and probably not even Dean's! He's in this too with the rest of us. We all just need to be supportive of one another and then........relax! Nuff said.
The fact that the OS has not changed for awhile now points to the probability that the dilution is indeed for a reason......not just for dilution's sake. If this stock was simply being mindlessly diluted, it would go on consistently day after day after day....without regard for effect on share price. The fact that the OS has not changed points to purpose, and its not to "max out the OS" as some would have you believe. The question is....what is the purpose we have witnessed? Ongoing operations? Shares given to acquistions? Beats me.....but I'm definitely comforted by the OS remaining stable.
I'm in at .023. Way down but confident in the eventual outcome. Holding strong!
We havin' fun yet? If you're invested and holding, contrary to some's nature, its time to relax and hold for news. Nothing you can do now anyway. I for one am nearly 60% down on my position, so I'm going to trust my DD and call it a day and wait for the outcome. Keep it all in perspective folks......if this stock is the worst problem you're dealing with in life, consider yourself blessed beyond belief! Holding and waiting! Keep the faith.
BINGO my brother!!
And what does that tell you? C'mon folks.......cheer up! Those that look over the hood instead of far down the road were certainly disappointed and panicky this AM. Their perspective doesn't allow them to see the good fortune coming IMO. You either believe in this company or you don't.
