I HAVE ONE REGRET I wish i had opened another trading account so that I could day trade with one and hold long with the other. I have made money flipping this early on and no its not an option for me now, we are too close.
Having a second account and flipping 100,000 shares or so would have been the smart play.
If for whatever reason this is not resolved in the coming weeks, I will do so. It makes me sick to have been able to forsee what the stock was going to do for at least 4 of the past 5 months and done nothing about it.
These mm's, although i consider them trash, have made a killing on this stock, and although i beleive we stand to win in the end, i beleive they have surpassed the amount of money we will ever make individually by 100,s of thousands.
The sickness i feel in my stomach is more about the remorse of knowing something and not acting on it.
I however will not do the same in the future, I vow to stay long with my original position, but play the mm game as it seems they control this and many other stocks.

well they would never say that even if they had THJMW on there news team. The problem herein lies that we hold wamu shares and we are down right sensative to any negative news. We praise Kristen Grind but if she had said anything remotely bad about wamu she would have been hung. JMO

ah yes what a twisted web we weave> I doubt Barclays is seriosly looking at wamu banks. Over 200 banks failed in the past 2 years, plenty of branches to pick up. IMO

I think CNBC article or spot actually brought attention to the fact wamu is still trading. Anyone I talk to about wamu is floored they still trade

Barclays cant buy wamu banks. Thats a done deal (crooked but done deal) chase will never return the banks. PERIOD. They will pay whatever face value if need be, but unwind....no way

well in your case I would have sold 50% of my shares at the point of recovery and if it goes to nothing you would have recovered 25K and if it had gone to $4 you would have made 225K total.
The point is; I would rather lose 50K because its easier to make back than 400K. but thats just me.I am basing myslef on your 100K scenario
