True, but that PR caused a definate share price spike. It's back down about to where it was now, but there was a bump that could be diluted into.
If the company profited off of that lie, I would think it's material.
Rise to 61 cents?
Wouldn't that be like .00061 pre split?
Please elaborate on how the company plans to do this, past blatant lies that are verified as such within 24 hours.
Now... forward looking or not, how is it at all legal to flat out LIE in PRs?
Sounds like more people need to head over to http://www.sec.gov/complaint/tipscomplaint.shtml - the SEC complaints website - and try to foster a more formal introduction between their employees and the company!
Given where the stock was just a couple months ago, I don't think this bump today would have done much to allieviate the pain. There's not much the company can do (wants to do?) to stop the march to no bid.
Hopefully it'll drop to a reasonable place to reload for the next leg up!
Lookout below!
It's more an expectation than anything. Gigs like this have a shelf life, and this ones been going for a couple years.
If you're someone claiming to have bought something that NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO FIND, I think you would want to keep it. One reciept dosn't clog your wallet, especially when you're trying to show people you're not a liar].
This is NOT the first time people have asked to see proof of sales. Certain cartoon sponges and car cleaning accessories that may have been sponge based had TONS of timestamped sales reciepts posted from all over the country when people didn't believe they were being distributed. (I'll not toucht he REST of that trainwreck, but in terms of distribution it happened AND WAS VERIFIED).
I've never seen a timestamped sales reciept ever posted. None of the people who have CLAIMED to see it have ever verified it.
I could CLAIM to have seen Santa Claus buying cans of KU from the commisary in the North Pole, but without any sort of PROOF, it's all the same unverifiable crap that circulates around this company.
So you're willing to accept every lie you've been fed when it shows the literally six locations it could be available? If it were in HUNDREDS I think SOMEONE at this point would've shown up and given ANY proof.
The fact that you have to debate how bad you've been lied to about a stock should be every red flag you EVER NEED to NOT invest.
I don't think the Komafinder will ever end up working as intended, which is where more of my point is. You can pin your hopes on another promise from the company, but to date they're about all empty.
And, if they're JUST being added, how did we get any OLD numbers? If you COULD verify going FORWARD, do you just blindly accept the OLD numbers that have NO proof and NO justification? No. They're still the same cracked out numbers that you CANNOT verify and that DO NOT follow normal accounting procedures.
This IS exactly what you just said it was. The scam argument will NEVER get buried becuase you don't 'go legit' after scamming for years. Nothing they say or do can repair their credibility outside of bringing in a reputable third party auditor and opening their books, and I think that would only show more how poorly things have gone.
But since we can't even call the TA for information, what makes you think they'll ever be more forthcoming with additional information?
Oddly enough, I don't think any of those changes will be enough to change where the share price is heading.
Right, and I'd bet most people don't know what Melatonin does to them. There are a number of people who don't shake the feeling for days after. It's still a poor demographic to market it to. I'm sure if a trucker wants to unwind after sleeping, Jack or Jim will be there for them if a Bud Light isn't.
How about the give it to your hyper kid section? I think taking the option of "Drug your kid!" would cause you to fail out of parenting 101.
Yeah, but generally feeling groggy the next day is a bad thing when you need to drive a loaded semi.
I found the PR, they say to give it to kids too in it. More genius marketing.
Truckers and Kids
If I remember correctly, they've already tried to market it to truckers. I'd have to dig through old PRs to verify, but I'm pretty sure.
My guess is this will end up like the 'bath salts' and 'herbal insense' etc that anyone could buy until recently (recently at least around here, I'm sure not all states have caught on to that wave but it passed incredibly quickly here).
No one will look at it until someone has way too much, or does something stupid after drinking it and hurts themselves or others in the process. We live in a country that has banned far more for far less, proven or not. I figure melatonin will be a matter of time as well.
You seem to forget that YOU could pay to get almost anything you wanted placed in an upcoming video from a musician that will be seen by people on youtube.
I suppose our problem here is we can't dump shares into the market to for it.
The similarity is whatever we would try to push in the video would have as wide of an availability as KU (ie. Almost none)
I believe it was suspended by the SEC for the false military PRs.
Uh, I post here becuase I've been burnt by the lies that I bought into in the past.
Don't try and tell me what I think.
It's not pessimism, it's recognizing the realities associated with this stock.
People have been cheated out of their money for years here while any iota of shareholder value has been destroyed, and they're trying to rinse/repeat the process.
Let's see if it can get higher than any of it's prior points! I'd like to see this finally do well versus hover near new lows.
And? The rest of the details aren't your business. If the CEO gets carted off in chains today, then it's our business.
Most .PKs don't STOP putting you through hell. They're not there to be long term investments. Get in, get your profit, get out.
Marry it and realize 99% losses.
I want to claim that their next promotion will be a dinosaur on a surf board riding a 300 foot wave back to dry land before picking up a can and having himself a drink.
At least the first part is as believable as someone actually finding a can of the product in stores.
Best post I've ever seen from you - I agree 100% (especially being one of those people burnt by that sponge company).
I don't think the inner workings of personal lawsuits are a matter of public discussion. The outcome is what relates to the company.
If I had to guess, Jared had the most to do with ripping shareholders off. Whatever the next guy does is more or less a moot point, I doubt we will ever see any part of our investment come back.
All I can do is kick myself for not selling when I was up =(
Becuase this comapny has no redeeming values. The financials are shady and inconsistant, there has been nothing but BILLIONS of shares diluted (followed by a nifty 1000:1 RS), and we're down what, 95% since the RS? (RS PPS was .10)
The product isn't available in many, if any physical stores, even though it's been PRed that they're widely available. No ones seen 'em.
If you're trying to catch this to flip it, that's about your only bet to really make money here. If you hold it too long, you'll get stuck holding your shares for a long time.
I encourage you to read through the information available here and make your own decision, both sides have made their arguments, it's up to you to decide who you believe. However I refuse to put another dime into this company - I'm already down around 99.993%.
We've given up on those. Time for the next round of laughs.
If BW wants to talk a transition to anything, he needs to get legit. If 50 grand is the cost, then it's just part of the price to play the game.
If I had to guess, audited financials would probably shut most of the detractors up becuase we would have clear numbers that we could believe.
Past that, we've been lied to too much to believe anything that comes from the company. Unfortunately, we're all holding the bag from the last round of dilution before the RS, so we're still here. Odd are we'll never see audited financials becuase the light of day would expose all sorts of things we aren't meant to know about what actually goes on.
A shame those change nothing unless they're audited.
Nice try shifting the conversation. I'll bite.
Do we honestly expect this train of thought from many people?
"I watched a video on youtube. Now to mindless hit up websites I've never heard of to buy drinks that I don't know what they taste like?"
Or is their actual thought going to be:
"I liked that song. What can I listen to next?"
I think you give peoples attention spans way too much credit.
Unfortunately, things like DRINKS, sell infinitely better when you can walk into a 7-11 and pick it up.
Number of drinks I buy a month at a gas station: 5-6
Number of drinks I've bought in my lifetime online: 1 (Was a free addon to a thinkgeek order and tasted like crap).
I bet more drinks are sold from the 7-11 outside my old office building in Boston (Downtown Crossing)than thistmonger sells across all categories in a year. If someone wants a drink, they don't want to wait days to get it. It's a major impulse buy category.
1,400,000 * .0075 = $10,500
This reinforces your point even more!
1,485,591 people who can't find the product in stores. How totally useless.
With no true distribution, less than a fraction of a percent. How much can online only sales account for compared to a Drank?
I would hope any paid investment advisors she has would never consider a pinksheet company (not just this one, ANY one), ever, for any reason unless it's a legit foreign company ADR as they tend to trade there.
Yeah, after a long, long time I'm glad to finally take some profits from here. I've been in since 08 and rode it all the way down and all the way back up.
