Once Dore is poured it's a whole new ball game. If one decides to pay a higher price after the first pour then that's a choice for each investor to make. The proof is in the pudding and some people would rather get a good nights sleep and wait for the shuttle to be in orbit. Everyone has there own risk comfort level. But also remember they have poured before and they will most likely do it again. Nothing much in the way to stop them now. Although you never know, so I understand the thinking. Alot of variables before take off sometimes. Houston we have a mouse in the shuttle, over..ffzzzzzzt. To each his own. Viva La Comstock!!!!

Hope not. If they sell out now they def won't get top dollar. Joint venture more likely IMO.

Ya it's a sick amount of potential cash in the ground only the tip of the ice berg hopefully and if we can extract for 400$ per oz or less we are laughing. Very likely. Every rise in price of PM's is exponential for the resource so that's cool but I really hope they get production going as planned even just limited to pay for exploration etc. If they don't we may see more dilution, not good. Ironically the waiting over the years may have worked in our favor here. I'm not certain if the rise in PM's has paid for our cash burn rate though. Production even if limited to start must happen in my opinion. Once it does the ball mill will really start to roll here. Then it's a business.

Yup, that's coo but I'm a little weary of this high. Unloaded off the top of some of my PM positions yesterday. I could be wrong but a minor correction should come within the next few months.
Psychological not Physiological. Damn you spell check!!!
AAAaaaaarrrrrghh!!!!
Cheers,

Gold and silver both hitting physiological barriers today. gold $1400 and silver $30. Expect some volatility here as we fight to stay above these key support levels. Looking good, but don't count yer chickens before they hatch. Patience is key here.
Cheers,
D
Yup I figure fair share price once we start producing is drum roll please... about $4.50, ironically the same as the conversion price. I knew that # was significant for some reason. But...because of the huge potential here a 2 to 3 dollar premium is not out of the question. If we get our 3 million oz plus the share price should be about $9-15. In the long run if we get the 18 million oz wich I think is not out of the question because once production starts and we have cash flow accelerating exploration and production it will feed off each other. If that happens then we will be a monster in the $50-$60 dollar range easy.
Another game changer for us could be a higher price paid for juniors in general. With the way gold and silver and looking I don't think that's to far off either. The suppression of the price paid juniors is probably going to pop soon.
Good luck all,
Cheers,
D
I disagree. The Fed may look like a saint now for shelling out trillions in a time of crisis now that markets are up. One must remember that the Fed in large part created the crisis and will create another one in the future with the current insanely low interest rates, QE's, and bail outs. The bail outs of the past will only increase risk taking and speculation on the part of the big investment banks, in the future. Government interventions only prolong the inevitable and years from now history may prove that it might have been better to let weaker institutions fail and to start from scratch. True capitalism is in essence Darwinism, the weak and sick die and the strong live to fight and expand. Meddling with interest rates in a healthy business eco system is wrong. Pumping and priming=boom bust. The Fed is keeping alive the cancer within the system by bailing out the weak and the sick. Also remember this was not a full audit of the Fed, this is only the stuff they let you see. Trust me, plenty more bail outs to come, but this time maybe they won't be able to pay it back. Lets see if California gets a Fed bail out. This is only the beginning or moral hazard, now that the flood gates are open.
One thing is certain in my mind. Inflation will come with a vengeance, through money printing, unstable currencies, and the end of cheap oil. It could be a perfect storm unless the Fed starts to raise interest rates like Volker did in the 80's.
Hang on to your hats folks,
Best of luck all,

Yup, I would also like to see that once production gets
rolling an increase to at least double or more the amount of ounces
projected annual production to pay for all this. If we can explore drill and consolidate plus bring in a nice tidy profit on top then we are laughing. Let's pore that Dore and get onto a real exchange!!! Best of luck all.
Cheers,
D
Well, I still have some buy orders in lower so I kind of hope not. he he. The act of spending money to acquire drill rights is neutral in my mind. Adding reserves, pouring dore, or rising PM prices will effect to the positive more. Anything that helps the bottom line. This land could prove helpful in many ways but the jury is out until we know more. I'm sure it's all part of a larger plan. Good luck all.

More info on the property here.
http://www.gencoresources.com/s/Oest.asp
The Gold and silver mineralization on the Oest Property is associated with 3 major fault zones: the north- to-northeast trending Comet zone, the EW trending Oest Fault and the EW trending Vargo Fault Zone.
Looks as though Genco has done surface sampling in the past but no drilling to date. Comstock wants the rights to drill with the option to buy. They may have a theory they want to prove it out. This property could be a small piece of the bigger puzzle, or not. We shall see.

Ya, it's been a long haul. I've been buying since early 2008. I was buying at .02 and then I was buying at .0068. I was buying a little at 3.80 and I'll be buying at 3.10 if we hit it ( ;. I have never sold a share in almost 3 years. Sometimes I wish I had but I'm not a trader I'm an investor and slow accumulation over time and trying to keep my cost average down has served me well here and in other investments. I'm not a trader but I do know that when the bashing starts to increase on the message boards during a down trend it usually means we are nearing the bottom. Sometimes it takes that little bit of effort to swim that share price down a little deeper in the pool. Bashers are buyers, don't let anyone tell you any different. If there were not so many bashers I would not be so encouraged to buy, he he. They really have an inverse intended effect on people like me. Anyway, I'm here until lode reaches it's full value. It would suck to sell right before a bonanza PR. That's a few years away or it could be tommorow. I might start trading a little out side of my core position now since I'm loaded to the gills. Good luck all and don't sweat the small stuff.

Silver Could Spike to $50 Based on Short Positions That Need To Be Bought Back.
JP Morgan and HSBC controlled over 85% of the commercial net short position in COMEX silver futures, and that this represented a short interest of 169 million troy ounces of silver, equal to about 25% of annual world mine production.
JP Morgan and HSBC currently beeing sued for
silver derivatives manipulation.

Possibly swinging out of a nose dive here. I'll help pick up

Nothing really to talk about now. Gold and commodities in general are having a natural pull back and I'm waiting for a bottom formation to buy in as low as I can on lode and other stocks I have my eye on. I don't want to say anything positive or it just might screw up the sell off. Oops I just inadvertently did. Oh well, good thing most people don't read this board, ha ha. Really I should be bashing right now to try to get it down lower. I'll let the "yahoo's" take care of that. Just not in my nature. Patience ain't just folks in da hospital and denile ain't just da river in Egypt. Here until buyout.

Yup, A panic sell might present some nice buying opportunities. We shall see.

Any gains in dollar are a temporary head fake. Long term trend still very much in tact and a stronger dollar is just not in the cards. Buy the dips over the next 10 plus years in my opinion. It will be a long ride to the bottom. They are not going to chop off and arm over night. It's a process. First a finger, then and elbow. Then in 10 years your arm is missing and no one noticed where it went. That's why it's called quantitative easing and not quantitative shock and awe. Trust me, stay the coarse, a thousand points of light. Wink.

Yes, it just shows how tight the silver market actually is and before the Hunt brothers cornered the market in silver they bought a silver/zinc mine called Prairie Creek. After the PM market crashed the mine was abandoned. That mine is now called Canadian Zinc. It is currently waiting on it's water and road permits. I'm invested in them as well as Lode. CZN is where Lode was a few years ago except they own another mine that helps fund the operation. Trades On the TSX as CZN.
GO LODE!!! Cheers,
D
It could be true for these reasons:
1) During the last parabolic phase for silver in 1979/80 it went from a low of $5.94 on January 2nd, 1979 to a close of $49.45 in early January, 1980 which represented an increase of 732.5% in just over one year. Interestingly, during the build-up to the parabolic blow-off in 1979/80 silver outpaced gold going up 732.5% vs. gold’s 289.3% causing the ratio to drop from 38:1 in January 1979 to 13.99:1 at the parabolic peak for both metals in January,1980.
Conclusion: Gold @ $1,350 using the above 14:1 gold:silver ratio puts silver at $96.50 per oz.
The Future: Gold @ $5,000 using the gold:silver ratio of 14:1 puts silver at $357.14 per OZ
Take Lodes silver and gold reserves multiply it with those #'s. That is a where I believe we are headed.

D
Nice post CPmill,
Clearly thought out and well written. Thanks for your good input. A bonanza strike is more than likely and could come with current drilling info. I also have a feeling they may be holding back some bonanza info before all of there land acquisitions are done. Last thing you want to do is drive up the price of the land you need to secure. Some of that must also be taken into consideration as well. Slow and stealthy. Wink.
Cheers,
D
Yup savers of cash will be punished. The hidden tax. Not fair.
Cases for lower dollar.
1) Get out of debt. The government wants to pay off some of the huge debt with toilet paper. Punish long term debt holders for trusting the USA to keep it's currency strong.
2) House prices, stock markets, rise. Fight deflation. Ya right
3) Better competitive advantage for exports and cheaper labor. Fight unemployment and trade deficit.
4) Lower interest rates. AKA cheap money. American's can keep going to the punch bowl. The party is not over yet folks.
5) Start a currency war.
6)Create hyper inflation.
7)Wipe the debt clean. Rinse and repeat.
QE 2 news just out Federal Reserve will pump "print" up to $900 billion into the economy. Many more QE's to come. At this rate gold may hit 1500 by January 2011.
Cheers,
D
The genius of it is if we find a new silver vein, a trend, or an ore body we can follow it in almost any direction. The computer model can take into account the entire geology of the comstock using historic and new drill data. This has never been done before on this grand a scale in the comstock. One more piece of the puzzle has just been added.
Cheers,
D
Just natural profit taking I think. After a 30% + up day it's only natural to have a 7% down day. We will be testing 4 again soon.
Cheers,

Good comments.
1) Yes, a temporary emotional response pull back in gold could happen if the Republicans take control. This could create some good buying opportunities that I'm ready for.
2) In reality, the republicans should not want to take control because that means no shot at winning the presidency in 2012. If they get mixed up in this they will get burned just like Obama has and that will work against them. Obama will point the finger at them for grid locking "change".
Sadly for the un prepared, IMO the dollar will continue to come down over time by another 50% to help trade deficit and to pay off foreign debt. Or raise taxes by 50% and cut spending by 50%. Ya right. It does not matter which party wins this is almost set in stone, because you don't win elections by doing the right thing. Unless China decides to raise the value of there currency by 100%, ya right. It's a race to the bottom I'm afraid for all currencies with the US leading the charge. By the way I'm Canadian and I really don't get the 2 party American system? In Canada we have 4 parties, sure it's like watching paint dry but I think it helps to have more choice. It becomes less us and them, like two kids in a school yard. Unless you say it's 3 parties against the Bloc Québécois. I guess it is us against them. he he.
GO LODE!!

Next round of quantitative easing possibly coming from the Fed, code for money printing. Ah inflation-the hidden tax. Canuck bucks are heading towards par again. Helps me out when purchasing Lode shares. Hope lode makes it to the TSX then I won't have to convert currencies all the time. No end it sight

Yes could be. But I have a hunch silver will take the lead in the future here. It's the dang blue mud. Not a bad problem to have.
Cheers,

Yup, as I've said before the silver is the real sleeper here.
They don't call it the silver state for nothing. The mother of all short squeezes on silver is coming. If history repeats itself fortunes will once again be made on the Comstock Lode. $50+ silver is not out of the question.
