It's not different this time. Be patient. All will be disappointed yet again.
This would be good time for another PR to announce that they are very close to finalizing the negotiation arrangements for beginning the final negotiations that could potentially lead to new talks!
Pat
They've been talking about an implosion due to deficits for decades too. Still waiting …. Everyone has a pet crisis.
Pat
I'm sure someone will tell you that it bodes well for the stock! <G>
Pat
Clearly their presence in the blockchain sector is not panning out so they need to shift their focus. It's a pretty dramatic shift in focus when you go from a commodity that has universal applications in potentially every industry to the narrow gaming world. This is a company in search of a niche which is why their share price trends down.
Pat
I thought it was due to insufficient quality data points from which to discern valid/meaningful patterns. I could easily be mistaken but I think I remember reading that somewhere on several occasions on boards I follow on SI.
Pat
Is TA/EW even applicable to low priced, low volume stocks like AIRI?
Pat
It's exactly the same news we've heard for years. To paraphrase, "After long negotiations, we are very close to more negotiations." Wilson should be embarrassed. He HAS to know that most are laughing at him. I don't understand what's in it for him to continue this charade.
Pat
" I wonder if there really is a deal being worked."
LOL, I hope that's a rhetorical question …
Pat
If there's enough money left over I suspect they'll find loopholes that permit additional claims. Meat is seldom left on a carcass.
Pat
"Any possibility this late claim might be dismissed quickly?"
Probably will be dismissed in time for the next claim.
Pat
Perhaps they're getting the price down to levels that permit them to finally take it private. It probably really shouldn't be a public company anyway as there hasn't been any concern for the shareholders in years. I don't particularly like that but at least they don't really try to hide their lack of concern. Though my position is not particularly large and is still above water, it's my fault for holding on the basis of "hoping" they'll change. They won't.
Pat
"Remember this was a $10.00 stock several years ago."
…. and that's what gives some investors pause.
Pat
"Really just where does all the optimism come from?"
IMO I think that much of what folks offer and/or accept as DD on some stocks reflect their "dream" of what they want to happen rather than what actually is happening. Nothing wrong with taking a flyer with the gambling money portion of a portfolio. Everyone plays the lottery occasionally. Few get rich as a result. Wild interpretations derived from routine (and often "newsless") PRs morph into "accepted truth" on stock forums and keep the "hope" alive for a sufficient number of people to keep the game going. Those that bought early are often the most vocal cheerleaders and will likely never give up since most of their financial damage has been incurred and what's left of their grub stake isn't worth retrieving against the remote possibility of a lightening strike. All IMHO. I hope for their sake that I'm wrong. Anything is possible at a casino.
Pat
"This is by far amongst the best Blockchain companies and certainly living up to expectations ...."
That's pretty obvious due to the massive revenue that they generate and the value of profits generated to shareholders, right?
Pat
I believe you've pretty much answered your own question.
Pat
Shocking!!
Pat
Doubt exists only because their efforts in non-DoD business to date have not produced any significant contribution to the bottom line. My comment was merely my opinion that without SIGNIFICANT results in the private sector, the share price likely will not move beyond its current level. It's entirely possible that eventually there will be significant results. They are not yet visible and progress seems to be moving at a geological pace rather than a chronological pace. Of course, that's subject to change. I hope so anyway.
Pat
Without significant commercial business, MKRS is too much of a one trick pony for any real share price appreciation. If they fell out of bed with the Navy or if DoD money dried up, they'd be out of business. Until they can get substantial business from the commercial sector, they're probably fairly priced as long as the Navy continues to keep them alive. They're working on expanding the commercial applications but progress has been pretty slow. Any significant progress in that realm would begin to move the needle.
Pat
This company gets sold only over Meany's dead body.
Pat
He's probably just a friend from their paths crossing at Lockheed. I doubt that his duties as a board member will eat much of his time and it sure isn't for the money since there is none.
Pat
That kind of publicity only draws attention to the company and might lead to share price appreciation. That would be against company by-laws. <G>
Pat
After listening to that interview, it's pretty clear why the negotiations are moving very slowly. I would hope he's not in the room when the negotiations are taking place.
That show must have had their scheduled CEO cancel at the last minute and Doc Wilson didn't have anything else going on so he agreed to pinch hit.
Wow ...
Pat
"With todays news I think we may see the contract for the plane soon."
Did you copy and paste this comment from a message on this thread posted a couple of years ago? <G>
Pat
"4th Q revenue will be HUGE if that comes true"
The key phrase is "if that comes true." Unlikely IMHO.
Pat
It's going to take a lot of reverse splits to hit that target!
Pat
Isn't it cute when "our widdle CEO" pretends like he's running a business …
Pat
The identity of the company doesn't even enter into the equation with me. I just happen to believe that they are about as close to inking a deal with an aerospace company as I am.
Pat
I heard the same multiple times but my sources were from recurring postings on this forum.
Pat
They probably haven't been talking to anyone for months/years about a deal. They're likely just looking for a new story to tell.
Pat
Yes, but IMO this one is particularly egregious if people would take the time to look at their history of business ventures and results.
I completely agree with you that this type of investing "has nothing to do with DD". It's akin to posting "Be patient. It's just a matter of time before I win the lottery grand prize ….. twice."
For those holding, by all means double down. It will increase your chances of "winning" by twofold. <G>
Pat
I think this has been apparent for some time. There are still some whose DD is comprised primarily of wishing and hoping.
Pat
This company is so undiscovered that THEY haven't even discovered the business they're in.
Pat
It would be nice to get some volume associated with the price moving above that $1.75 - $1.80 mark.
Pat
Does anyone have information on exactly what Daniel Zeff has done elsewhere to earn a reputation that could potentially provide hope to MKRS shareholders? Is he an arbitrage wizard? Does anyone have examples of the names or symbols of specific stocks where his appearance has made a significant impact? I know he was playing around with Mechanical Technology, Inc. (MTI) when they approved a poison pill back in late 2016 to more or less throw an obstacle in his path.
I wonder if MKRS has a "poison pill" to protect against a Daniel Zeff move?
TIA
Pat
Because they've essentially made no serious move in the PR direction for a decade or better, I see no reason to even imagine that they will begin that now. It's too bad but I believe what you see is what you get from MKRS. If it had volume, you could play it for repetitive 10% plays but volume doesn't even allow you to do that. Too bad. It's a good little company if they had different priorities that were aligned with shareholders. For reasons unknown, there just is no alignment.
Pat
IMO: This deal will NEVER get done. The company knows this and has known it for some time. They're merely keeping the story alive until they come up with a new and different story line. For them it's always been "rinse and repeat". I'm stunned they haven't already released a new story. This current one is really stale. Their creative staff must be asleep at the wheel.
Pat
I hope you're right and I'm wrong. I remain skeptical.
Pat
I'm afraid that IS a dream! <G> I don't believe there will be any sale of the company. They'd take it private before they'd sell it. Shareholders might get 50 cents if that happens. Having said that, I sure with that your dream would come true!
Pat
I am actually a little surprised that they haven't tried to capitalize on the crypto currency wave. That could provide them a different angle to keep the stock symbol around a little longer. The turboprop airplane business is getting a little stale. They need to keep up with the times!
C'mon, Wilson. Release your top negotiators from the insatiable demand for crop dusters and put them on the path to riches with the new and exciting world of crypto currency. Who needs revenue generation when an entirely new possibility for PR generation awaits?
Pat
Just check the PRs they've released for the past couple of years. It's the same. They're "in negotiations". Yeah, right .... they must have some real cracker jack negotiators. I wonder if this "aerospace company" even returns NEIK's telephone calls.
Pat
