Interesting GENERAL ENERGY IS A DIRECT AFFLIATE OF PGPM. So did they sign a LOI with themselves? Or am I missing this all together? And why can't I find anything on GHS Energy?
http://www.thefreelibrary.com/General+Energy+Corporation+Announces+Strategic+Alliance-a0154713301
DALLAS -- General Energy Corporation, with offices in Dallas, Texas, and Montreal, Quebec, today announces a strategic alliance with Huizhou Engineering Co. Ltd and SEWAN Limited, both of China, to develop and manufacture land and offshore workover equipment and portable trailer drilling rigs. Both of these companies have successfully acquired contracts in Southeast Asia, China and England. The alliance will be named GHS Energy, with a main office in Montreal, and will be lead by managing director Rafael Pinedo. General Energy Corporation is a direct affiliate of Pilgrim Petroleum Corporation (Pink Sheets: PGPM), lead by President and Chief Executive Officer Rafael Pinedo. Effective immediately, GHS Energy will begin marketing services in Canada and in the United States early next year.
Mr. Pinedo said, "We are very pleased to have interest in such an outstanding joint venture with great value in cost of drilling, loss of production, manpower, safety and reliability."
How can you expect big things from a company that is trading around the same price per share? TRNP isn't doing any better then PWTC.
No trades since 9:34. Why does it do this?
I think people are waiting for news on the LOI. I'm hoping for some info today. Possiblely Friday.
Basically, your saying nobody here has any info? Nothing! Not even a rumor or any specualtions?
Well that's fine, but what's been going on with this company? Are they still there? Are they even working on something?
Rex, thanks for the info. I will also do the same. Let me know when you have your links. Well appreciated.
What's going on with this company? I got in last year and then forgot about it. Anything new?
It seems like it hasn't traded since 1:16. Anybody know why it goes through periods of no trade?
The ask jumped up to 0.003.
That was posted today on Yahoo. Don't kill the messenger. I just put it out, because everybody was waiting on news.
Here is your big news. Financial statement.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=gcog.ob
Looking at the info again. Are they the same Company? Or is there some alliance between the two? They seem to have the same address, just different name. I think you know more about this then I do. Can you tell me anything more?
It sounded like bashing. I didn't remeber who posted those questions, but I wanted to try and at least get them answered. Whether or not it's true, he's aware that investors know about it and have concerns. If it is true hopefully he will do everything possible to correct it. And it seems like he's trying to. Even though he sounds like a politician, the one thing I did like was that I got a response. There are a lot of companies out there that are unwilling to respond. There are people here that believe in this company and there are people here that don't. Is it real or is it a scam? Unless you visit Texas, nobody really knows for sure. All I can do is wait and see what happens. If things go wrong, it wouldn't be the first time that I've made a mistake. I'll just deal with it and move on.
Hey Rex. Thanks for the info. Not sure what that all means, but I'll look into the info you gave me.
Something that I'm curious about. Maybe someone on this board might know. After looking at the leases for American Petroleum Corp. I notice that for some leases the operator name has changed in FEB 2008.
Morgan F.D., Douglas Mineral Trust, Patton and the Meldon white lease. The operator is Lariat Energy Corp. Prior to Lariat, it was General Energy. I know that there was a LOI with General Energy to purchase a working interest in 2007. Has that changed? Anybody have any ideas?
Here are some of the leases for American Petroleum.
http://webapps.rrc.state.tx.us/PDQ/changeViewReportAction.do?viewType=Lease
I agree you don't find anything under Pilgrem Petroleum, but try Amercian Petroleum and you might find something. They state they are a subsidary. But I will continue to try and find out more on just how many wells they have. If anybody here has any solid info, please post. Thanks.
That's an interesting statement. You might have a point. I didn't really see it that way until you pointed it out. But then again, who know's. They used his email address as the reply. The way I look at it, someone answered it. All I really know is, this company has many wells that are producing and they have upcoming projects. This company is so undervalued. I see companies that don't even have any wells that are doing much better than this. Why is that? Could be because they are on Pinks. They need to get a big investor or JV with a solid company that has creditability or some really good exposure in the oil industry to make this fly. If there is something brewing with EOG, that would be huge. For now, I'm just sitting back and I'll see what happens for the year. I have lots of patience.
Yes, but I took out my name.
I want to share an email with you. I decided to email Mr Pinedo and here is my response. The email states that the information is only for the intended people on the list, but I don't think there is anything on here that people don't already know or that would incriminate myself or the company. He makes no promises or guarantees anything.
Hi Mr. Pinedo, my name is and I recently I decided to invest into your company, but now I have some concerns about whether the investment was a good choice. In reading some of the message boards I have some questions and/or rumors that I would like to put to rest. I hope that you will read and answer some of these questions. I did send some of these question to your pr guy with no response. So now I am sending it to you.
Mr.
Here's my answers, please don't let people to foolish you, look from somebody that understand financial statements and have reputation on financial comments and analysis, the forums are infected of undesiredpeople. Regards
Rafael Pinedo
CEO President
Q: In order to attract more solid investors it would be a wise decision to make plans to move onto the OTCBB. Is there any plans for this company to do so? And in what time frame would you be planning this?
> A: We have plans to move up to the OTCBB, yet until the end of 2007, we rather prefer to spend our money on maintaining current well production, making sure the company complies to Railroad Commission environmental requirements and putting back more wells into production. Currently, there are some opportunities to move to the OTCBB in a cost-effective way,
but honestly speaking, we rather use the capital to develop our
properties.
>
>
Q: There seems to be confusion on whether you company is real or just a scam.
>
> A: Unfortunately, the biggest problem in the OTC market is the huge amount of short-sellers, bashing companies for their own benefit. I invite you to go to the website and check on our Third party Engineering Report...I don`t think a "scam" can make up a report, specially with well-known geologists and report financials every quarter and every year.
Q: In a PR release dated April 29, 2008 it states lower production because of lower working interest. In a PR release dated one month earlier (March 31, 2008) it states an increase in production was primarliy due to re-activated wells. Which is correct? Because it sounds contradictory.
>
> A: Both are correct. Lower interest, means Pilgrim gets lower
percentage of the actual production, because it needs to share it with its Joint Venture Partner. Yet, production itself has increased thanks to additional reworked wells.
Q: Latest PR release has an effective date of September 15, 2006 for the Gustavson Associates report. Is there a latest development for this? Shareholders read this and wonder why
all of the sudden there is a report that is currently available, but dated 2 years ago?
> A: This report has been on our website, publicly available since 2006, and has always been there since then. We decided to release the information again because of countless e-mails requesting information about our properties...Now more than ever...so, basically, the press release was meant to be merely informative and a remainder of the economics and potential of
Pilgrim.
>
>
Q: These last two question are ones that I found going around, I would say bashing the company. I wanted to present them because if some people are saying this, there might be a reason for it. Is there any truth to these questions?
Q: They have less money coming in than going out: PGPM is slowly going into more and more debt which they attempt to pay for by
ISSUING MORE STOCK.
Q: They OWE the federal government 6 MILLION DOLLARS IN BACK TAXES with NO CASH TO PAY!
> A: There are some corporate activities being pursued by our Partners that will change our positioning soon, which will benefit Pilgrim, investors and all parties involved.
Q: Mr. Pinedo, It wouldn't hurt if the company did some type of
shareholder conference meeting so that other shareholders who doubt the companies intention have a chance to speak and get their questions answered. Just a thought.
> A: Thank you for taking the time to communicate your concerns. We will take into consideration your comments. For the time being, we will try to keep our investors informed as much as possible through our website and press releases.
I think signing a LOI and having it actually go thru is totally different. Investors see it as it hasn't happened yet. Maybe after the deal goes thru, you might see a change.
You would then think that this is a good thing. There going to still make money, maybe fund other projects and somebody else is doing the work. So why doesn't the stock reflect it?
So all the gas, which is 1 mill barrels of oil will belong to Frontier Engery and Pilgrim will do the drilling. I'm still not understanding how this helps Pilgrim. Anybody have any ideas?
From reading this, does this actually say that Pilgrim is selling active wells to another company? It says that Frontier will own all the gas and the rights? So how does pilgrim make out in all of this? Or am I misinterpreting this?
Frontier Energy Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Two Leases in Archer County, Texas
Thursday May 29, 10:52 am ET
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Energy Corporation (“Frontier” or the “Company”)(Pink Sheets:FRGY) is pleased to announce today that it has entered into a letter of intent to purchase two leases in Archer County, Texas.
Pursuant to this agreement, American Petroleum Corporation assigns 100% of the working interest to Frontier Energy for the development and production of the current active wells and future developments in the area. Frontier Energy Corporation will be entitled to all of the ownership of all rights to gas, oil or other minerals as they occur naturally in place at or below the surface of this tract of the land.
The closing of the definitive agreement is subject to the approval of the board of directors of Frontier Energy and the completion of the due diligence documents associated with the purchase. Further details of this agreement will be disclosed as soon as the terms and conditions of the agreement have been finalized.
The best estimate for the prospective resources has been 1,831,000 barrels of recoverable oil based upon the engineering reports and geological assessment. This information has not been proven yet and further reports and work will have to be done to confirm these numbers in detail once the acquisition is complete.
“We are very optimistic about the prospects of this agreement with American Petroleum Corporation, and we are looking forward to our relationship with them as the operator of this project. We feel that this relationship brings with it a great advancement in our ability to produce revenue from this property, as well as a larger scale opportunity for our shareholders with the scale of this prospect,” stated Mr. Robert Genesi, CEO of Frontier Energy Corporation.
About Frontier Energy Corp.

I'm sure it takes that into consideration. Yea right! Shouldn't this deal have already been done? Damn legal formalities!
I didn't put it out to bash. I just put it out. It changes frequently throughout the day.
