Read this. No API is provided by any brokerage but iFinix has it in the works from the get-go and they own the source code.

One other thing is that back when Open Source wasn't known very widely, software companies didn't provide APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) which would allow casual developers to add on new features to their software. But now there are tons of free software out there that also provide APIs so that there are oodles of free add-ons (think Mozilla Firefox or Google).
iFinix owns their source code and they planned at the start to provide an API. In fact I'm starting Computer Science classes and I'm hoping next year I can take a new indicator and program it in and create my own charts without needing to get fancy ones made from other websites.
The thing about start-ups or early stage companies is that they can find niches that the bigger companies with their "stable" target markets didn't know existed.
Cupertino, California based high school friends Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs produced their first computer, the single-board Apple I, in a garage workshop in 1976. Back then the common belief propagated from International Business Machines was that only companies or the government needed computers. After selling 200 or so of the computer, Jobs attracted the attention of some investors, co-founding Apple Computer with Wozniak, and introducing the Apple II computer in 1977. It just so happens that in a previous iFinix PR they started with 200 full subscribers.
Does anyone remember the Lisa? Does anyone remember the Newton? Does anyone remember the iPod? Apple kept innovating and taking risks. That is why few remember the other flops but it doesn't matter.

This is an early stage company. Did you expect companies like Amazon to operate at a profit 2 months after putting up its website? Of course not. Software development and server infrastructure take time to mature.
One of the cool things about new software packages is that before they build too many edifices on the software code there is still room to change it to have features other competitors don't have. For example, the very flexible window management isn't possible in other competitors' products because they built too much code into monolithic windows.
To me this is why iFinix has so much potential and why I am so anxious to see the desktop trading and mobile trading software.
They've delayed fins but that didn't stop them from launching Real-Time and I don't think it will stop them from continuing to grow the business all year.
INXR followed through on their 2007 business goals so far. I don't see any reason to doubt their intentions based on y0's DD.
What to look for in September:
Here is what the company states in July 19th PR:
-- expects to launch iFinix Trader, which adds trade execution functionality and account management features to the iFinix RealTime platform,
and eFinix, a web-enabled version of iFinix Trader that will run on desktops and on mobile devices, by the end of the third quarter;
-- expects to add experienced management;
-- expects to offer seminars and internet courses in using the iFinix RealTime Information Platform and other iFinix products in November, as part of a strategic alliance with Diversity Group International, an educational marketing organization, with which it has a memorandum of understanding; and
-- will continue to accomplish necessary milestones to be eligible to list on an Exchange as we promised earlier this year.
"In regard to iFinix Trader, which will add trade execution functionality and account management features to the iFinix RealTime platform, he noted that the company has begun to negotiate partnerships with broker-dealers that will integrate their operations with the iFinix Trader."

Sell me your shares, I'd love to takethepressureoff.
I really don't mind at all. More product launches coming up end of quarter so I'll be quite happy to accumulate your shares until then.
Pretty please sell me your shares! Thank you!
My problem with the discussion has been how often people try to characterize their perceived opposition on public so that they can look like the "winners" and their straw men/women the "losers".
People can't even provide adequate documentation of the evidence they use to make their factual statements. If you are going to make a argument, support it with factual claims provided from official sources and provide adequate documentation of where that evidence is and let people make their own conclusions based on the evidence, not your characterization of other people or their statements.
This way, the discussion is about DD and not about "camps" or "teams" or straw-man arguments.
People make their own opinions based on DD. Trying to characterize the discussion as camps doesn't help anyone. Each person has their own trading style and their own standards. I asked for sources and instead I got another personal attack calling me lazy.
No sources given, then your negativity isn't very credible.
Yet to see any real DD refuting any of y0's points. At least give a real PR source if you're going to try to refute them.
I'm not going to debate people who don't provide sources.
Yeah, looks like management will more likely release financials than not. Besides, they did before if you look on Pink Sheets for Filings so saying they won't is a massive exaggeration. The company's excellent track record of following through on their business plan is what matters and they've been doing that all the way. Read the February 2007 PR and you can see they've been doing exactly as they proposed.
Read 2/20/2007 PR for a refesher on INXR 2007 goals.
They actually accomplished some things in addition to this overview such as Diversity Group International partnership and also licensed Real-Time platform to Legend Securities.
JAMAICA, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/20/07 -- iFinix Corp.
(PINKSHEETS: INXR) released today a comprehensive overview of
iFinix's corporate strategy and goals for 2007. Chairman Drew Budhu
commented, "As iFinix embarks on an accelerated entry into the
financial marketplace with its comprehensive line of real time and
trading platforms, the level of inquiry from prospective users of our
products, shareholders and potential investors has increased
dramatically. The following summary will prepare our clients for their
future with iFinix and address shareholder concerns at this opportune
turning point in our corporate history."
Core Objectives
iFinix CEO Doug Spadaro stated, "iFinix's objectives are three-fold.
We will deliver quality real time trading tools and execution
platforms to the financial marketplace at a competitive price,
effectively support our subscribers and eliminate any obstacles that
limit achieving solid returns for our shareholders. We consider these
objectives to be more than mere goals. They are our obligations to
the consumers and shareholders who support us and whom we work for."
iFinix Financial Products
The iFinix product suite will initially consist of three products.
After conducting extensive market research, the company will rebrand
their product suite along the following lines:
iFinix RealTime is the desktop real time platform being prepared for
release. The modular components offered include Streaming Quotes with
unlimited ticker lists, Level 2, Time & Sales, Alerts, Charting,
Streaming News, Financial Content and Market Research.
iFinix RealTime will also be upgraded soon after release to include
stock screens and real time scanners with fully configurable market
motion filters. iFinix will be including these added functions at no
extra cost to provide a superior value and competitive product.
iFinix Trader will add trade execution functionality and account
management features to the iFinix RealTime platform. iFinix Trader
will integrate with partnered broker-dealers thus affording iFinix
users high speed trade executions at a range of brokerages. iFinix
Trader will be made available both to retail traders and professional
organizations.
With iFinix RealTime rolling out first, iFinix Trader will go to
market release as new brokerage partnerships are announced. Users will
be able to trade and manage multiple iFinix-partner brokerage
accounts aggregated within a single iFinix Trader environment. With
the ability to hook into an assortment of high-speed direct access
brokers, iFinix will continue to expand your trading choices as each
new broker joins our network.
Efinix is a web enabled version of iFinix Trader that will run on
desktops and on mobile devices. With Efinix, you will be able to track
the markets, manage your portfolio and trade online using the same
execution features as iFinix Trader. Efinix is in advanced stages of
development and being prepared for release.
Product Strategy
iFinix's business model is subscription based for iFinix RealTime and
Efinix. Users that trade through a participating brokerage will
receive iFinix Trader on a low or no cost basis. iFinix will receive a
percentage of each commission fee from trades executed using iFinix
Trader.
Due to the large range of brokerage services and tools investors
employ, this diversified business model ensures iFinix products will
be available in all contexts and the company will generate an income
under all scenarios.
iFinix will offer various subscription pricing tiers for essential
platform services plus add-on services and extra exchanges at a cost
less than the basic and total package prices of other vendors with
comparable offerings.
As market penetration of the iFinix platforms increase,
communications protocols for other programmers will be made available
to encourage the building of product add-ons. The company will
partner with these developers and assist in the marketing of these
value-added products.
All iFinix product is coded by iFinix. Earlier iFinix product demos
are no longer active or to be considered representative of
market-ready products soon to be released. Free product trial
subscriptions will be offered when each product is released.
Product Support
When iFinix RealTime is officially released, live technical support
will be provided via chat messaging on the iFinix website and by
email on weekdays from 8 a.m. - 6 a.m. EST. The company guarantees
weekend support requests will be resolved by Monday market open.
Live support hours may be expanded later as the user base expands.
Chairman Drew Budhu will go to India soon to review current
development efforts and to finalize the training of tech support
staff, initiate support tracking procedures and establish knowledge
base protocols.
Management
iFinix was founded by Drew Budhu, a specialist in distributed
computing environments. Mr. Budhu is the chief architect of iFinix
products and technology initiatives
Mr. Budhu comments, "I have held fast to my vision of making iFinix a
value-added proposition for both the consumer marketplace and our
shareholders. I worked hard to keep our company going until we
reached the threshold of delivering product to the marketplace and we
are finally on our way. We have no debt, take marginal salaries, keep
our costs lean and are determined to grow the company in 2007."
CEO Doug Spadaro has held management positions at Citicorp, ABN/AMRO
and Paget Group and has an extensive background in financial services.
He is involved in strategic planning, daily operations and developing
the broker-dealer network for iFinix trading products.
Ricardo Brillon is the Chief Information Officer of iFinix. Mr.
Brillon develops the core programming of iFinix product while project
managing additional outsourced development teams, including about a
dozen developers currently working full-time on iFinix products in
India.
Naveen Vasudevan is the lead project manager in India who oversees
the local workforce dedicated to iFinix software development and
technical support.
Craig Eckert is CEO of iFinix subsidiary, R&B Computer Systems Inc.
With over 20 years of technology experience and an engineering and
management background, Mr. Eckert has developed strategic
relationships with companies such as Ernst & Young, Accenture,
Nortel, IBM, Compaq, EDS, Lucent and Goldman Sachs.
Subsidiaries and Acquisitions
R&B Consulting is presently the only iFinix subsidiary. Under Mr.
Eckert's full-time guidance, R&B is currently partnering with regional
and international technology consultancies as a personnel and
solutions provider. Drawing on Mr. Eckert's experience, iFinix expects
R&B to contribute revenues in 2007 and grow significantly in the
following year.
Mr. Eckert is responsible for locating acquisition targets that would
increase iFinix revenues and generate profits. Several private
companies presently operating with positive cash flow are under
consideration. R&B has already qualified for a Small Business
Administration loan that would facilitate a contemplated acquisition
in full without any need for dilution of iFinix shareholder equity.
Mr. Eckert's oversight of this separate entity ensures there will be
no loss of focus on the primary financial products and services
business of iFinix.
Real-Time was working well for me today and I was billed the correct amount this month. So far the only real DD (real proof with an screenshot of Paypal) I got today was from ThinkPadX60 which showed an actual refund which shows that the company really does have excellent customer service and it can only get better as the revenues build and they can afford more staff.
I have used online customer support and they are always prompt and courteous.
So MM's were dropping 3's to try to create selling volume? Meanwhile how much retail was picking up 4's?
Thank you for being a competent poster who isn't afraid to provide real DD and not exaggerated crap.
If you look at their business plan updates, each step except financials for part of 2006 and 2007 and upcoming trading module and eFinix have been completed. Just like any company they have technical and billing issues. The important thing is that they did give refunds and ANYONE who keeps repeating they don't refund overbilling is exaggerating.
They did give refunds. Why are people saying they don't refund people? That's so wrong to exaggerate the issues.
So this means they actually do give refunds so anyone who says they won't is exaggerating.
Have you used online customer support?
As long as the product is working and I get charged the agreed upon rate I'm holding.
There is some fins information on Pink Sheets just not for all of 2006 to present.
My iFinix Real-Time Level II is working just fine today. Just fine.... I have absolutely no idea what you mean by Level III.
My shares don't show up as DVFA still. I guess from previous posts everyone who had Zecco had a messed up symbol TQWIXZ. This happens after I had to deal with cost basis and dates disappearing from various symbols....
Nobody knows. That's why I wish people would use this board space to post DD instead of emotionalism.
I wouldn't get worried until it's a thousand dollars at 0.09. That other sell was a paint. And it takes much less to downtick than to uptick with no hurricane.
The important thing is that iFinix gets the payments. I don't see why quibble at this point about the most flexible, cheap, reliable, secure payment system on the Internet when the company hasn't even released their full platform yet. When they get new partnerships for the the software suite you bet they are going to need a more customized payment system.
Company already stated Private Placement ($1 million) Completed July 31.
Partnerships are still a possibility since management was negotiating them. So even if retail subscriptions don't look impressive to you there is still the possibility of even greater revenues.
I think the glass is half full and only gets better once they release eFinix and the Trading module and work on selling those as well.
There is a lot to look forward to. I use the phrase weak hands because I don't share people's willingness to paint reality as purely negative. IMO the PPS will rise because of business developments this year as a result of more software releases/revenues.

Revenues is what matters. Yes, we need to know financials so we know what impact revenues will have. Private placement (504 dilution) was over by July 31 so we just have to sit tight. Only weak hands are selling at this point.
So I sit, wait for release of eFinix and Trading platform, possible partnership PRs, and financials. And, keep some buy orders open.

Define "end of 3rd quarter" for me. Do you mean end of September or end of the 3rd quarter of a fiscal year? If so, when is that?

They did release Real-Time and they plan to release eFinix and Trader end of 3rd quarter. They must be close as they wouldn't bother putting up an eFinix site otherwise. My gauge is that their business plan is moving forward and revenues are increasing so PPS should follow.

PPS timeframes are worthless anyway.
PPS predictions are worthless anyway. All we have are the PRs.
Is it possible MM's sell at 3 to depress retail investors so that more weak hands sell?
Funny how buying pressure is so weak.
You can too instead of complain about other people's DD.
