You have to keep in mind that Spansion is currently restructuring under Chapter 11 bk. They are also in search of possible buyers. With It's share price undervalued and what I believe to be a heavily shorted stock. This with a possible speculation of a future buyout is what's driving this up at the moment.

As far as long term goes...It's a risk! If they manage to work with their creditors & rebuild & emerge from Chapter 11, Then this might be a good long term investment. But for now theirs too many ifs for me to think long term.

Currently, some manufacturers are issuing production guarantees to assuage customer concerns. "Shortly we will be able to offer the first samples from EON of their Spansion S29GL compatible Uniform-Sector Flashes."

In the memory chip industry, conditions have turned cataclysmic. In the past couple of years, the production of memory chips swelled as companies chased rising interest in consumer gadgets. The result was a vast oversupply, which led to plummeting prices. Memory prices fell 60 percent last year and could fall 40 percent this year.

I'm not sure how far this can run up, but in today's market speculation can run these stocks like there's no tomorrow.

Just take CTIC for an example. Stock went from .10 to as high as .97 with insane volume in just a few trading days based on speculation.

So who knows right:)

Well I pulled half out @.224....Still made nice profits. If theirs a pull back I'm going to look to find a lower position. If it continues to climb.....well I still got half invested.

It looks to be a very quit premarket for HAYZ this morning. We have not seen such a flat premarket for several weeks now. Is this the calm before the storm?.....Or is the upward trend done at the moment and should we expect a pullback. JMO

On a positive note HAYZ hasn't had back to back closes in the red for the whole month of March. I hope tomorrow this trend continues:)

I say pay very close attention to the AH & to the premarket.


I have only been following HAYZ for a couple of weeks now. From what I have seen is a big chunk of the gap ups have occured in the AH & premarket. To be honest besides a few late day runs, I find it to be relatively flat during reg trading hours. IMO

That's true.....The markets did have quite the sell off today.
Yet HAYZ remained in the green.

I'm sure we will see it get back to the .27 to .28 range in AH. imo
