Very volatile right now.... I do like the intra day chart, I think this will push to new HOD soon with strong close. IMO
LMAO.... sorry wrote on Wrong message board:)
This is going to push up to new HOD soon. IMO
WOW.....Very volatile right now
I'm doing a little DD on what it means for common share holders when a company privatizes. It says no where in today's PR that it's public common shares would soon be canceled / worthless.
They expect to emerge within 35 days from Chapter 11 BK with positive cash flow. I Need to find out a little more on what this means for common shareholders.
I sold the remainder of my shares this morning @ 0.08 and picked up SORC @ 0.07. It's having a nice bounce back....Looks to be in great rebound mode. ASYT can still be bought out in near future. For now I'm going to wait and see how it trades as a pinky end of week...GLTA
This is going to have a nice bounce back / rebound.IMO
Bought in this morning @ 0.07......Looking for the mid teens tomorrow. GLTA
I agree, A little positive PR stating any work on finding a possible vaccine for "THE SWINE" & GNBT will explode. IMO
Alright.....You guy's have convinced me. I'm selling the house & letting it all ride on GNBT
GLTA
Hey guys, I jumped in today @ .52 :) things looking good so far in AH.
I think we see another nice gap up in the tomorrows premarket.IMO
We also might see a new 52 week high in coming days/weeks.IMO
Any other thoughts???
GLTA
Hey NP dude!
gotta run.....
Lets see next week how things play out. We should get a good feeling after Monday/Tuesday. Think positive Have a great weekend:)
Well, it's recovered nicely from it's 0.06 low in AH... That was scary:)Lets hope for a green day come Monday.
ASYT only has a little over 50,000,000 shares outsatnding dude.
If they were to be offered $20,000,000 for the whole company....( which is a low ball number) that would represent 0.40 a share.
If you're interested....Check out SPSN....It's a little less risky right now. Looks like theirs a good chance they will emerge from ch 11 BK with positive cash flow. Plus they are bigtime candidates for a potential buyout.
This is an old article??? Just read this on google finance. Copy/pasted It here.
I really do believe their will be a buyout sooner than later.
I know it's a tough call, but I would hold off selling until Wednesday.I'm selling mine on wednesday before it gets the boot from Nasdaq.
I'll then wait to see how it trades on the pinksheets.

(Adds company comment in paragraph 3)
NEW YORK, April 22 (Reuters) - Chip equipment maker Asyst Technologies Inc (ASYT.O: Quote, Profile, Research) has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, citing the rapid decline in the semiconductor market, and said in court filings it hopes to sell the company.
The supplier to Intel Corp and Toshiba Corp listed Flextronics Manufacturing Ltd of Singapore as its largest unsecured creditor, with a claim of $3.3 million, followed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, Sauaro Technologies Inc (SGUJ.PK: Quote, Profile, Research) and Jenoptik (JENG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) of Germany with unsecured claims of $515,000 or less.
Asyst is considering bankruptcy financing, known as a debtor-in-possession loan, or using cash to fund its Chapter 11 filing, a company spokesman said. He said the company did not have a planned time frame for the bankruptcy.
Asyst, which was founded in 1984 and listed on the Nasdaq in 1993, said in the Monday filing it had assets attributed to the unit in bankruptcy of $30.5 million and liabilities of $25.2 million.
In addition, the company has a multicurrency senior secured facility with KeyBank, which currently has an outstanding balance of $74.9 million.
The company said earlier this year it expected to break the covenants of its loan agreement with KeyBank, which has already been modified. It blamed the industry downturn and said it expects revenue in the current fiscal year to fall 46 percent from an expected level of $347 million for the year that ended March 31.
Asyst reported a net loss of $7.3 million for the final three months of 2008.
The company, which employs 280 people, also filed for similar protection from creditors for its units in Japan It said it retained Cowen and Co to explore a sale of its businesses and received preliminary indications of interest.
Asyst's shares were up 22 percent at 14 cents. The shares peaked at $5.20 per share in 2008.
Cowen could not be reached for comment.
The case is In re Asyst Technologies Inc, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California, 09-43246. (Reporting by Thomas Hals; editing by Dave Zimmerman and Matthew Lewis)
I'll be honest in telling you I don't like to directly tell someone to buy or sell based on my opinions. I picked up 40,000 shares of ASYT Monday morning @ 0.056 & sold half Tuesday @ 0.15
I'm up even if this goes to 0.00 with my remaining 20,000 shares.
So for me I'm willing to hold & take that risk. I don't know how much you have invested or at what price?
If you can't afford to possibly lose you're investment here, then I suggest you bail A.S.A.P
@ this point it is extremely a high risk play, but The rewards could even be higher.

It's never a good thing when a company gets delisted from a major market. How low can it go now??? Well, I wish I had a crystal ball to tell you that. From my experience It doesn't look promising unless they are bought out. Yes their is still the possibility of a future buyout. If/when & for how much is the big question. It's also possible for ASYT to emerge from chapter 11 BK & get their share price above $1 in the future so that they can get listed on the NASDAQ again. But that is a lot to ask for right now. Best bet is for a buyout/sale of ASYT.
GLTY
Now With the delisting, things don't look very positive:(

ASYT 0.11, +0.00, +3.8%) , a leading provider of integrated automation solutions that enhance semiconductor and flat panel display manufacturing productivity, announced that it has received a staff determination letter from the NASDAQ Stock Market stating that the company's common stock is subject to delisting from the NASDAQ Global Market in accordance with Nasdaq Marketplace Rules 5100, 5110(b), and IM-5100-1. The letter was issued as a result of the company's previously announced filing for relief under chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code on April 20, 2009.
The company said it does not intend to request a hearing before the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel to appeal the decision. The letter set forth the NASDAQ staff's determination to delist the Company's common shares, suspend trading in the company's common stock at the opening of business on April 30, 2009, and file a Form 25-NSE with the Securities and Exchange Commission removing the company's common stock from listing and registration on The Nasdaq Stock Market.
I have to admit I'm a little confused with this one. It didn't surprise me to see a bounce back when it bottomed on Monday to 0.05. Why such a continuous climb back up??? Small sell offs with strong buying pressure??? Record volume??? DSUP is reaching higher heights than before it announced CH 11 BK restructuring???
My consensus is that a lot of companies in today's markets under these harsh economic times, are just under valued and probably oversold.
Today's markets are just too hard to call & just too wacky to understand if you ask me.
GLTA:)
While the Company is in chapter 11, investments in its securities will be highly speculative. Investors should assume that shares of the Company's common stock will have little or no value and will likely be cancelled upon consummation of the Company's reorganization. The Company anticipates that its common stock will be delisted from trading on the NASDAQ National Market. The Company expects to cease filing periodic and other reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission, effective immediately. Certain information concerning the Company will be available in the bankruptcy.
The outcome of the chapter 11 restructuring case is uncertain and subject to substantial risk. There can be no assurance that the Company will be successful in achieving its financial reorganization.
I guess we should all just BUY,BUY,BUY on this fantastic news.LMAO
ASYT had a buyout offer of 326 million last July. If their were to be a buyout this time around, I don't see them getting more than 50 million. JMO
check out post #41
Any positive PR from ASYT and this will shoot up like mad.IMO
Take a look @ DSUP today....Expolding Up 140%
I expect similar activity very shortly from ASYT. JMO
GLTA
lol.....You better trade this ninja quick if it was to get in the .50 to .75 range. GL
No doubt it's having a great run @ the moment. But I would expect their to be a nice pullback shortly. It's being over pumped right now and will be followed by being over dumped very soon. JMO
Damn.....I had a choice on Monday morning between buying DSUP or ASYT both @ 0.06. Unfortunately I chose the wrong one. D'OH
It's now trading @ higher levels than it's close before the CH 11 BK news....WOW
Congrats & GLTA
I think Their is a good chance that ASYT will find a potential buyer in the near future. With only 50,000,000 outstanding shares and a market cap of just $5,000,000 makes ASYT very attractive.
ASYT was approached with buyout offers last summer, and I think their will still be good interest here with it now being at a rock bottom price.
Keep in mind ASYT did near half a billion in revenue last year. Just imagine if they were bought out for say only 50 million. That would give ASYT $1 share value. Then again they could not be sold and not come out of BK.....Liquidate there assets and then be worth nothing. I personally don't see that happening.

ASYT 0.10, -0.01, -8.1%) said Wednesday that it has received an unsolicited letter from Aquest Systems Corp. expressing an interest in buying the company for $6.50 a share. The approach represents a 66% premium to Tuesday's closing price and values the group at around $326 million. Asyst, which supplies automation systems to semiconductor and flat panel display manufacturers, said it's reviewing the expression of interest and has requested more information from Aquest.
Agreed, that was the same reason I jumped in as well...BUYOUT BABY BUYOUT:) we'll just have to be patient with this one I suppose. GLTY:)
I hope this pulls back under .10 so that I can reload like a mofo.lol
Your right about them not actually emerging form CH 11 presently. For a company to come out stating they expect to emerge........Usually it is a pretty good sign of things to come. I'm just not seeing much buying pressure as of late. With today's PR I just thought their would be much more of a move.
I just got flashbacks this AM of April 7th PR when we saw a nice run up in AH and a huge gap up in premarket. Then (ding, ding, ding) the markets open and it's been pullback/sideways trading from there.
I can understand some pullbacks and profit taking considering this was trading under 0.02 two months ago. But with all the new buying as of late, who is selling? IDIOTS.lol
I still believe in SPSN & I'm not selling until it does what I expect it to do. The only thing is it might take longer than I first thought.
Any thoughts on if/when we see SPSN come out of BK 11 and they continue a positive cash flow,Where can we see SPSN share price then? I guess what I'm saying is take away any buyout possibilities, what can we then expect with SPSN?
What else is new!:) The company expects to successfully emerge from its Chapter 11 restructuring process with positive cash flow of $195 million and we are still trading sideways @ 0.20 LMAO
The more I read today's PR the more I think "WHAT GREAT NEWS THAT WAS FOR SPSN. 17,500,000 ".....Am I missing something here???
There's no doubt it's had a nice run in the past couple of months from it's bottom low's. But I think we can all agree when it was at levels below 0.05 it seemed to be well over sold.
Keep in mind this hit as high as 0.18 before any of the positive PR came from SPSN. Every time it tries to make some kind of a run it's followed by big pullbacks? It's just not making much sense at this point. SPSN is not getting it's value up when it very well should be. Frustrating is all I'm saying.
What is it going to take for this thing to have a nice run up?
With all the positive PR this month this should be reaching much higher levels. Looks like we'll see another disappointing run here. But I guess a gain is a gain right! I'm starting to think the only thing that will make this run up nice is BUYOUT news only. Looks like investors are watching and waiting for this alone. This can very well be over a dollar by years end. But I'm not watching this every day to hold till then.
I can ensure you I won't be holding long on this one. I still believe their will be a much higher kick back in the short term.
We shall see:)
TARGET PRICE .20 to .25
Had a choice Monday between Asyst or Dayton when they both came out with BK news. They both had identical drops of 80% and were both @ the 0.06 range in the AM.
Dayton's had a much quicker recovery to as high as .25 today.
I'm expecting to see much of the same levels soon with ASYT.
GLTA
Looking to buy more on this dip:)
After April 7th's news and the buyout speculations,As far as I'm concerned SPSN should have been at much higher levels by now. We should see a huge run up from todays PR.IMO
But then again I have been wrong with this one before.
How high of a run & how much of a pullback we shall see is anyone's guess.
GLTA
GO SPSN SO!
Looking very good at the moment:)
I just hope e see a nice run this time around. I'm not getting to excited at the moment. We all have seen how manipulated this can trade.
Does this now put the potential of a buyout of the table?
Or does this make SPSN a more interesting buyout candidate?
Any thought?
Great news everyone.......We have waited patiently here. Looks like we should see a nice run up on the great news.IMO
GLTA:)
