High C, I've seen lots of start-up techs and the salaries CDEX pays is ridiculous IMO!
No wonder these guys are excited, they just sold more PP shares and they know they'll remain on the gravy train through 2007.
Malc with keep all the meth test reports confidential and no one will know the testing has been completed until you see the meth guns "shrink wrapped and ready for shipment"! LOL
They have several Valimed sales pending the new additions to the library.
Also, CDEX is claiming Valimed sales were lower than expected because they mis-judged hospital buying cycles. I find that excuse unacceptable because a seasoned company like Baxa DOES NOT mis-judge a hospitals "buying cycle".
In short, I believed very, very little Phillips said.
No Scared, it was an alleged Army contract back in June 2002 which was prior to the Army and Navy feasiblity studies.
"STATEMENT FROM THE CEO
June 3, 2002
This CEO Statement notes the progress in two significant areas: contracts that provide revenue for the company and registration of CDEX stock.
Today, CDEX issued a short Press Release announcing the award of a contract to CDEX for the continued testing of the EM-1, CDEX’s proprietary first generation mobile explosive detection system. The testing is being conducted under the auspices of the United States Army. This contract reflects another step in the process of Army evaluation of the application of CDEX’s proprietary chemical detection technology to the Army’s countermine operational needs. We look forward to the testing and welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the technology in the field. While we are very excited about this new development, we are treating it as just another step toward our ultimate goals. I should add that CDEX has several other proposals outstanding and we are continuing to seek developmental partners in concert with our business vision reported in earlier CEO Statements..."
CDEX wasn't registered with the CCC at that time and from my understanding could not have had a "contract" with the Army.
I just listened to the Feb 9th CC. It doesn't sound like MP is going to release the MSHP test report after it is completed. They claim that several other law enforcement agencies are testing but refused to disclose the locations. Both situations, not good.
Reminds me of the alleged "Army contract" when CDEX wasn't even registered with the CCC.
Anything that can't be verified I don't believe.
Keep up the good work boys and keep drawing those nice big salaries. I wonder how much Timmy's last job paid? I bet it wasn't over 200K plus stock bonuses.
Beyond Ridiculous!!
I gotta go eat Chinese food now. If it gets cold the missy will be mad at me. Xeno, I'll post the details of the meal tommorrow. LOL
Nooooooooooo... it's where he was interviewed and was quoted saying Dr. Blair was the inventor of ELF.
I think it was a children's magazine or sumpin' like dat.
There's other PR's were he's quoted as saying he feels fortunate to be "part of the team". Strange for the inventor to say that huh?
What a humble man.
I sure hope he scrapped enough money together to get that water pump for his well that PP investor, GREG SMITH told us about.
Locs, I'm still waiting for that one Tucson/Phoenix magazine article featuring an interview with Wade Poteet- circa 2000.
Are you "asleep behind the switch"?
I was wondering the same thing demmo. The alias was "wpoteet" and it was written in the first person.
Oh come on Kidd, don't cha know that baxa is "selling Valimeds faster than CDEx can install 'em".
They need to hire on more field technicians!
LOL!! Nice little touch at the end:
" will attempt to answer other concerns and specific questions of a scientific nature, but please try to limit them so that I can spen as much time in the lab as possible."
So Poteet was aware of the "volume of public information" about ELF/VAMMP?
"Although ELF could produce detections of explosives at two meter standoff distances, the integration times for that distance were long--typically 300 seconds. The press releases I have seen that mention the two meter distance did not make this clear. To this day, and after the volumes of public information made public on Loch, I do not know specifically who wrote the releases."
Poteet saw the press releases? According to Ontheedge he was too busy in the lab! I wonder what Poteet said or did when Loch Harris was touting a 30 meter stand-off distance?
I'm still bustin up over that one!!
Horace Poteet from Texas, Physicist, Sandia. eom
CDEX either has it or it doesn't and we'll know by the end of Q2 IMO.
"I believe the technology that was demonstrated at ASHP is going to be accepted by the marketplace, and the implementation of the CDEX / ValiMed technologies will change the world for the better."
- Capnmike
Spoken like a true stock promoter.
Now what's this all about?
"I believe EVERY SINGLE WORD OF MY SWORN AFFIDAVIT, AND I BELIEVE IT MORE TODAY THAN I DID WHEN I SWORE AND SIGNED."
LOL!! Advertising himself as a cancer victim, as a poet, as a good ole chevy truck and apple pie kinda guy... puttin' himself in harms way for shareholders. Whata guy!!
But wait, there's more. He believes his sworn testimony- STILL!!! Now that's damn impressive. How can you not be wowed by such a fella.
I'm bustin"
http://ragingbull.quote.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=CEXI&read=117
Xeno, does Poteet have a brother?
"Hard to believe with all the "good" news that no one is talking about anything."
I'm curious why no one seems interested in the results of the meth gun testing. No one has asked about it and production is scheduled to begin in less than two weeks.
Most likely we will hear that modifications were made and testing is on going.
As I've posted, 2008 for any meth gun sales (besides the "partnering", "deliveries" and "selections") IF the unit makes it into Motorola Razr production.
"They are prepping the assembly line right now for volume production"
-Nasfanium (circa 2005)
"Oh Are you the drbuff?"
Come on "C", you know who's who by now!
... And I was only rufflin' your feathers.
I'll have to give Viking65 credit for not over policing this board. I think he's doing a good job except for those nasty posts from High C! LOL
Nite.
Well at least it's a start. Not a lot of money involved:
SEC. 9. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.
(a) Environmental Protection Agency.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Environmental Protection Agency to carry out this Act $1,750,000 for each of the fiscal years 2007 and 2008.
(b) National Institute of Standards and Technology.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the National Institute of Standards and Technology to carry out this Act $750,000 for each of the fiscal years 2007 and 2008.
I'm not 100% sure Scared, but I think Crow is saying that those were anticipated sales that fell through.
I tend to think that Baxa bought units up front as part of their exclusivity agreement.
That's normally how it works from my experience which includes setting up exclusive distribution agreements regionally throughout the US and with over 17 countries/territories.
So.... Raiderman thinks CDEX has strengthened it's relationship with Baxa and Paige thinks all the Valimed have been sold, but CDEX hasn't had the time to install them.
I guess those 22 employees aren't enough to get the job done.
"The meth gun is where the money's at!"
Production begins in less than two weeks... last I heard.
(Edit) OK Paige, but I still don't see how giving Baxa the option to install has any connection to CDEX relieving them of their sales quota for 2007??? Especially if Baxa sold all the units as you speculate.
It looks like they played on 12/01/06 with WP at bass:
Posted 12/01/06
"Wade Poteet, bass was with the DixieCats originally and recently returned..."
http://www.azindia.com/az_localnews_details.asp?id=177&al_title=17th%20Street%20Market%20Musical...
LOL!! Let's go Xeno. We can catch the PGA tour this weekend in Tucson too! Maybe we'll run into Malc and Rod. "You never know who you'll run into on the tour"
Crow, I think Baxa had a contractual obligation to purchase an initial inventory of Valimeds for exclusivity.
I remember reading that 15 of the first 25 units were earmarked for Baxa with the remainder to be kept by CDEX for certain house accounts and so forth.
If CDEX never purchased the initial inventory why would there have even been an issue about booking the revenues?
Wade Poteet played bass with the DixieCats?
"Wade Poteet, bass was with the DixieCats originally and recently returned. He is a Physicist in his
own company with a PhD from Virginia Tech."
Too bizzy in the lab Ontheedge?
http://www.azindia.com/az_localnews_details.asp?id=177&al_title=17th%20Street%20Market%20Musical...
"Fool the medical device company once again into signing a strengthened deal"
Strengthened? ROTFLMAO!!! Yeah, by relieving Baxa of ANY sales quota because they haven't been able to sell the ValiMed. Yeah, that's really "strengthening" - LOL!!!
Yes, it's strengthened Baxa's position. That's what he was talking about wasn't it? I mean, he can't be that confused to think it's strengthening CDEX's ability to sell Valimed units can he?
And what about CDEX? Apparently MP thinks that Baxa is such a good match for CDEX that he has relieved them of their 2007 sales quota, yet continues to grant them exclusivity for the North American continent.
It would appear that Baxa no longer has an obligation to purchase two and a half times as many Valimed units this year and store them at the warehouse. Apparently some posters can't cope with this simple observation and are in denial.
Good thing CDEX has the meth gun. "That's where the real money's at."
BTW, has anyone hear rumor about a DEA contract for the meth gun?
Maybe it's been mis-filed under FAA! LOL
"Does CDEx have ANY full-time employees who regularly show up for work at the Wherehouse?"
Sure, they have 22 full and part time employees. At any given time they're bizzy in the lab working under the direction of team Poteet/Cauthen/Shriver.
In fact they're so bizzy, that no one has time to answer the phone and let shareholder's know that they're not "asleep at the switch".
Here ya go Paige. This just goes to show you the relevance of being on a "list"!
Landmine Who's Who
http://www.llnl.gov/landmine/landmine_whos_who.html
P.S. I know this is old stuff Harry, but doesn't it still make a point?
Potential applications for the revolutionary Loch/CDEx technology:
FUTURE APPLICATIONS identified for ChemTech's technology include:
- Security monitoring in public applications (baggage, airport security,
etc.)
- Victim recovery and identification
- Alcohol detection devices
- H2S detection in mineshafts and oil & gas exploration
- Standoff biological and chemical detection in an open air environment
- Clean room monitoring systems that detect contaminating particulates
- Vehicle exhaust monitoring (smog testing)
- Environmental testing
- Earthquake / volcanic prediction
- Military, counter intelligence and counter terrorism applications
"They understand right enough. People want the stock price to go up for any reason or no reason. They just wanta make some money off the other people that buy into the nonsense."
Like Closer/upandin0? He knows the players and he knows the game. He has his game plan and knows the window of opportunity to make the right play during the next solid pump will be short lived.
Have your gamer plan and watch the volume!!
I've come to the conclusion that Jenn may mean well, but is too trustworthy and has not experienced (although hard to believe) how cutthroat a scamsetr can be- regardless of how courteous or well spoken they may seem.
Like Crow said, you may have a drunk with them, enjoy converation and even find them entertaining, but don't trust them with you money.
So if you tape it to a helmet will it be a heads-up display with GPS? LOL
Sorry Paige, don't buy that for a second, 100% conjecture, unbelievable conjecture.
"The multifunctional device can perform wired or wireless data uploading and downloading. It time- and date-stamps all of its tests and stores the results for later retrieval."
Paige, any reasonable person that's been around the Loch/CDEX scam has learned not to take everything that's written about their future products for face value.
You certainly should know this by now.
First, you are quoting an anticipated embodiment of the product just like ELF was going to have a heads-up display with GPS. I could go on with many examples of Loch/CDEX BS like SafePill 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...99, or PSS, MSS, FSS, but I don't think that will be neccessary.
Second, Mergenthaler's experience in telecommunications, namely satellite networks, was in scheduling and deployment management, not hardware design for wireless data transmission. Yawn.....
I have a friend that has the exact same job description as Mergenthaler: ".... served as Director of Planning and Scheduling for CAIS Internet, where, using third party contractors, he managed deployment of high-speed internet LANS to the hospitality industry and multi-family dwellings to allow access to CAIS's high-speed network via its web portal."
Translation: he manages resources to install satellite dishes for business, commercial and residential. The resources include a fleet of company vans and a group of independent contractors that install the dishes.
And Paige, the Intellectual Property Clause in Mergenthaler's contract is SOP for any tech company. Totally irrelevant.
So let me make my point again. There is absolutely no excuse for MP to be paying his Son-in-Law 300k/year plus a million+ dollar bonus. Mergenthaler's qualifications did not warrant such a salary and he contributed nothing which can remotely justify it IMO- SHAREHOLDERS GOT RIPPED-OFF, but the Saint Philips Family is doing just fine. Thank you for your support and loyalty.
How long was MM there Paige, one year? So over 400k for what? OH yeah... you think he may have helped with some wireless stuff! Gee, that was money well spent! LOL!!!!
Stick to hairdressing Hon! (TM- Xeno)
And FOR THE RECORD:
I DON'T BELIEVE THAT A WIRLESS DOWNLOAD CAPABILITY EXISTS AND I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THE METH GUN WILL EVER MATURE TO THE POINT WHERE THAT FEATURE WILL EVER BE INTRODUCED... AND I DON'T THINK IT WILL EVER HAVE "ALL THE FEATURES OF A MOTOROLA RAZR"
I have hope for you Paige, I know you'll eventually change your views. It's inevitable, the only question is when.
So... are you still selling this company to your clients?
Risky business Paige.
(Edited for sp)
Correction: "And that damn Badger almost screwed things up, that was a close one. LOL
It doesn't seem as if High wants to answer my question.
Hich C, when do you believe MP came into the picture?
Do you beleive Kidinsight's foolish story? He was just another shareholder like you and I before Boone and Baker handed the whole enchilada over to him (in the middle of a SEC investigarion mind you)?
There's no good answer is there? LOL
AFA tbeezer is concerned, I don't know for sure who it was, (some think it was PPPI), but one things clear, the poster was planted to chum the waters and stir emotions. Remember how he claimed that the Boyz were going to declare BK and shut down trading any day?
The writing style was kind of akward and stupid, that's why it reminded me of a certain poster that had/has an uncanny ability to stick his foot in his mouth ever time he posts.
Tbeezer posted long enough to plant the seed that the tech was real and it was just the Bad Boyz that screwed things up. If the tech wasn't rescued soon, the comapny was going to go BK.
Definately (TM- Closer) an inside job and a well planned part of the exit game IMO.
Soon after that event, along came Saint Philips, Mari and Robert to the rescue.
And that damn Badger also screwed things up, that was a close one. LOL
High C, I read your post on the other board. 25 million in five years is peanuts? Do you think CDEX is an IBM or something?
I see no excuse whatsoever for the CEO of a small start-up company (strapped for cash) to pay his Son-in-Law a salary of over 300K a year and 900K in shares (over a million dollars at the time).
What did this guy do? Name one contribution this guy made to the cause that another qualified person couldn't have done for 80K a year? HeII, name one thing this guy actually did? Anything, besides signing his name on a couple documents?
It's ridiculous. Don't even respond, there's nothing you can blab that would even remotely justify such a fleecing of company funds.
But it's your problem, not mine! :)
P.S. Butt, I'm here to save you anyways! LOL
Xeno, ----------
QUIT
And with that comment I end my posting for the day.

Scared, I always believed that people associated with LOC/CDEx fired off some letters to RB threatening legal action which prompted the mass booting.
However, in all fairness there were a few Longs that seemed to have disapperaed at about the same time- ICCDP and a few others.
I figger they may have got caught in the mayhem with multiple aliases or sumpin' like dat.
I think Kidinsight had something to do with it since he made predictions and/or suggested the event beforehand.
I don't remember anyone being positively identified as a monitor, but it seemed the deleted posts favored the pro Loch/CDEx posters.
It certainly did when many of us got the boot. RB never gave me (and others) an explanation other than saying it was a TOS violation.
Monsoonman had an orgasm over the incident. LOL
