Any concerns about NHLD's connection with this lawsuit?:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/hagens-berman-notifies-investors-class-123000483.html
AN FRANCISCO, Oct. 29, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, a national investor-rights law firm, alerts investors that a class action lawsuit has been filed against CBD Energy Limited (CBDE) ("CBDE" or "the Company") ---an Australian small cap company with principal offices in London and New York. The suit is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and investors have until December 26, 2014 to move for lead plaintiff.
The complaint covers those investors who purchased shares of CBDE on the NASDAQ Capital Markets exchange pursuant to the June 13, 2014 stock offering. If your purchases fall in that time period of June 12, 2014 and October 24, 2014, you are encouraged to contact Hagens Berman Partner Reed Kathrein, who is leading the firm's investigation, by calling (510) 725-3000, emailing CBDE@hbsslaw.com or visiting http://hb-securities.com/investigations/CBDE.
According to the complaint, CBDE, its officers and directors, and its underwriters --- National Securities Corporation (a wholly owned subsidiary of National Holdings, Inc. (NHLD)) and Northland Securities, Inc.--- violated the securities laws when it issued 1,810,000 ordinary shares, at an offering price of $4.00 per share, without disclosing material facts in its Registration statement. On October 24, 2014, CBDE announced that its previously issued audited financial statements for the fiscal years 2012 and 2013 and interim financial statements for the six months ended December 31, 2013 cannot be relied upon by investors. On this news, the value of CBDE shares declined significantly from $1.92 per share to a low of $1.25 per share.
SNWV
Hopefully a PR on the trial update by the end of the month. Not a bad couple of days here! It was based in the .40 range before the PPS meltdown, so any good news about the trial should explode it past there.
I nibbled at .048....30k starter so nothing too extravagent but the SNWV tech seems to have traction outside the USA
Hmmm, another CRL after all those insider sells....oh yeah, my post about those sales was deleted....
DD ain't always pretty.
Any update or news on SNWV? Talk about a "buy low" op! Wow! From a base in the .40's to .04 in a matter of weeks...on high volume. Is the company selling shares? Do they have the cash to survive?
A safer play would be NEPT which owns 48% of ACST and just ramped up their new krill oil plant.
GTHP form 4's filed on Dec 9:

Good to see insiders buying into the last offering.
Hard to say what the DMC will recommend, but given that the SNWV gadget wasn't clearly superior to a "sham," it's no wonder the PPS has dropped like a potato.
I've been lurking here, but it's too close to the end of the year to buy now. Results are at least a few months out and there's nothing to suggest the PPS will climb.

up 54% to $3.70 on this PR:

and a Wainwright"buy" reccomendation. PT of $7
NAVB taking a pre-market (-.24 to $1.12) hit after Lymphoseek guidance adjusted down to 4 million. Someone wanted out!
This one is sooooooo far under the radar. With the current PPS and low share structure, a buy out ahead of q1 2015 phase 2/3 psoriasis results seems very possible imo.
One big drawback is the share price, which is well below the last offering at $5.15. Hopefully CANF's presentation at conference will convince a big boy to lay out 100 million for the patents....... or at least a good chunk of that for the rights to a % if/when cf101 is commercialized.
CANF
Bought shares of canfite today at $2.85. This is a
low float bio with phase 2/3 topline psoriasis results expected in Q1 2015.
Company has orphan designation for cf102 liver drug, which has been approved for compassionate use in Israel.
March 2014 $5 million raise was done at $5.15 a share.
With the IBB setting new highs, CANF has been making new lows.
POZN
Take a look at the insider action as well. Lots of "S" transactions for some pretty hefty coin.
I sold my $3.60 shares for $4.02 today and will continue to take profits whenever possible in all holdings. Plenty of good buys out there that haven't come roaring back like AXAS.
Yup. Cash is king. Now. As it turns out, the best decisions I've made in the last 2 weeks were non-decisions.
While a sinking tide lowers all ships, it's definitely time to hone the A list of beaten down stocks that have dropped beyond reasonable levels:
All contributions welcome:
MAUXF- .874
CLRO- 7.88
CPLP- 8.45
FULT- 10.84
TCRD- 12.75
It's amazing how many divvy paying companies have hit the 52 week low list as well.
Feel free to add to this list. As Jeremy Irons quipped in Margin Call, "there's going to be a lot of money to be made coming out of all this."
Athletics and Pirates

Looking for catalyst #1 to PR any time now....though that's been the case for a while lol. Wade has to operate by Nigeria rules, including timeframes, but new pipeline will happen, albeit in fits and starts.
All out at 2.27. Looks like the conference went well
Back in here at 1.88
MMT.TO
MMT has ebola, islamic terrorists, government corruption, divvy shakeout and.....lots of oil.
I can't see the PPS not doubling within a couple of months of production flowing through the new pipeline....even with all the baksheesh.
In any other country in the world (almost) the PPS for what MMT has in the ground would be over $5.
I gotta friend who has worn put his vhs tape of game 6 of the 86 series........no many new highlight reels since then
No idea. And no current position. I sold when the former CEO announced his lawsuit. Change is coming to NEPT and none too soon: talk about a poorly run outfit!
ACST announces phase 2 results in Sept, so worth a watch with NEPT as %49 owner.
Pharma/bio have been getting hammered lately. When the dust settles, there will be a lot of fine buys out there, but I won't be looking to add here until production and management stabilize.
NHLD
Results of shareholder vote:
(2) A proposal to approve an amendment to the Company's certificate of incorporation to increase the total number of authorized shares of common stock, par value $0.02 per share, from 150,000,000 shares to 250,000,000 shares. The proposal was approved and the results of the voting were as follows:
Votes For Votes Against Abstentions Broker Non-Votes 93,771,001 4,520,889 1,757,654 -
(3) A proposal to approve an amendment to the Company's certificate of incorporation to effect a reverse stock split of the Common Stock at a split ratio of not less than one-for-eight and not more than one-for-twenty, to be effective, if at all, at such time as the Board shall determined in its sole discretion:
Votes For Votes Against Abstentions Broker Non-Votes 89,685,447 12,710,960 2,653,117
I hope the R/S proposal has a view to uplisting in mind....but if they indeed follow through on a R/S, why would NHLD need another 100,000,000 shares?
Granderson in the lead off spot......lol. Metties need Mackey Sasser and Doug Sisk again!

Nice move here! The party's just getting started IMO. This article explains the synthesis between universities, government and start-ups that help Israeli companies like CANF develop their ideas more quickly.
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2132983-israeli-biomed-tech-companies-present-investment-opportunities
The market cap here is ridiculously low ($35 million) for a compnay with so much in the pipeline.
A buyout is very possible for CANF

CANF ran to $8 + when positive phase 1 results were announced last Dec. Stock is currently trading near its 52 week low.
Last PP was at significantly higher prices then today's $3.50 PPS.

or it's the hackneyed old bad joke- company selling off the 25 million shares they filed Friday after the COB.
I hope you're right.
ETRM has been an albatross in my holdings. I played the favorable adcom ruling and held my shares, but I'm not so confident that there'll be a big run-up here today due to:
1. 4-5 efficacy vote doesn't bode well
2. I know (and if I know then everyone must) that there's no way the FDA approves VBLOC without additional data. This means another study, which puts approval between 3 and 5 years from now if the company is lucky.
That's a lot of shelfs from now.
Whatever the PPS today, I'm happy to be selling this company at a price north of the .90 it would have hit had the adcom been really brutal.

Thanks for posting. Looks like the folks at Harvard don't see it Chowdhury's way:

CMXI tial fails. Company now will focus on their primary product, Autologel.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/cytomedix-announces-results-recover-stroke-201500914.html
I think the future here is really strong. I also would be surprised if CMXI didn't take a 15-25% shave after the open. Bio's have been under a lot of pressure lately. And other companies announcing unsuccessful trial results lately have been slaughtered.
If you think Autologel is the holy grail to profit for this outfit, it could be a great chance to load up.

Any idea of how many of the 2.5 million shares that Melnyk filed to sell a couple of weeks ago have crossed the tape yet?
NEPT $2.23- Neptune and Enzymotec settle their patent infringement dispute.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/neptune-enzymotec-conclude-final-patent-003237238.html
"This successfully brings to a conclusion all of the outstanding litigation issues before the ITC, with Neptune concluding favourable agreements with all ten Respondents named in the investigation," highlighted Mr. Benoît Huart, Director Legal Affairs of Neptune. "Consequently, Neptune has now licensed some of its patents to all of the major players in the worldwide krill oil industry. In addition, these settlements preserve strong IP protection for both Neptune and Acasti, allowing them to defend their respective markets."
I anticipate news about NEPT's new krill oil plant becoming operational will be released in the very near future.
NEPT stock is currently trading a few ticks off its 52 week low
Additional info about its 49.95% owned subsidiary Acasti can be found here:
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2119933-acasti-pharma-an-undervalued-biotech-with-a-potential-best-in-class-omegaminus-3-drug
All out at .60- will wait til results are released before jumping back in.
GLTA
I don't agree Jason Napodono. Negative ALD-401 results will wither the stock price IMO, regardless of where the PPS is when the results are announced. I'm looking at plenty of compannies right now that are trading well below the PPS at which they sold shares. Especially now, with the bio sector reeling, any bad news is going to impact heavily to the downside.
I agree with you- trial results are going to have to be quite strong to show serious efficacy. If they hit, it'll definitely hike the stock price over a buck. Maybe it's enouraging that CMXI negotiated their recent financing to give them an opportunity to seek better terms if ALD hits, but it's all conjecture at this point.
That said, IMO, it's a big risk to hold CMXI through the results PR. And that said, I'm still not sure what I'll do with my shares, lol
Yeah, I saw that too....but can't find my decoder ring...
Specific circumstances= really positive RECOVER results IMO. And the alternative financing option could be a re-issuing of the warrants to reflect the elevated share price that would follow positive RECOVER results.
Looks like the bottom line is that the $35 million is guaranteed with a floor at .52
With good results, the company can opt out of the $26 million tranche and find friendlier terms.
How sweet would $55 million of warrants with a strike price of, say, $1.65 look today?
Volume today looks like a bit more than 3 small fry unloading.
And the 3 quarters of revenue growth and
2 quarters of profits aren't enough for them...
Looks like it's not enough for management either........
Bingo! With no reliable fins to fall back on and no real meat on the company's PR bones, these pinkies really boil down to the question of one's level of trust in management: Are they worthy of your trust or at the very least, can they be trusted to pump up the value of your investment dollars?
I sold most of my shares on Friday, because for me, it's all looking pretty suspect.
Remember Tony Anish's email I posted last week?
We did do a couple of 3A9 transactions that buy back debt for stock and we believe that as much as they promise to feed shares into the market slowly this is probably at least a part of the cause of the drop.
I emailed and asked for specifics, ie, how many shares were issued and how much debt was forgiven? No reply (no surprise)
As far as the increase in share capital has been concerned there was a complete breakdown in communication between our attorneys and the Company. The fact that I have been out the last week with a kidney stone issue also slowed this down. It will be dealt with next week.
Next week has come and gone. They've had months to get the filings straight. That must be one slow-moving stone.....and I just can't buy the breakdown in communication between our attorneys and the Companyline. WTF is that?
GLTA. Hope Tony and the Barren are indeed the high-roaders who'll take you to the promised land!
