Does anyone have a current customer list for NetWolves?
They said on the CC that they had about a 5% attrition rate of old customers, but I do not know how fast they are replacing those lost customers, if at all.
I think I need to listen to the CC again, if I can find the number.
Problem is
I learned more aout the challenges Netwolves faces from those negative posters than I did any of the positive posters. They gave me information about issues to focus on to see how well the managment addressed certain concerns. I asked a few questions on the CC to get answers direct from managment on issues that those negative posters posted about, and I was glad to have the leads to get to those concerns. As far as their answers, I was OK, not totally happy, with managements' answers, but at least I know some areas to be looking into, THANKS TO THE "BASHERS".
I feel at a great disadvantage not having someone pushing me to look at areas that put this investment at risk. I understand deleting posts that are continual repeats within the same day or couple of days, but other than that, the information provided by those "bashers" are the alert signals that help me limit my risk. An attitude of ignoring them or disallowing their posts, puts my investment at much more risk and makes me much more inclined to sell out because I do not have a good feel about the negatives I am up against.
I am extremely concerned about the latest financing deal where they have put all the assets up as collateral to that last set of IBs. How much am I at risk of losing the whole lock, stock and barrel if management defaults on that loan?
I am hanging in for the possible buy-out, and ONLY for that, but I am extremely concerned about their cash position and debts. Not happy that they did not achieve CFP this quarter like they had promised. I thought that loan would provide the extra financial boost to assure that CFP, and they still did not achieve it, except for one measly month. If someone is going to buy them out, I would think being CFP would definitely increase the dollar amount we will be paid to buy our shares.
Cursed,
I am one Long WOLV holder that would just love to interact on this new IHUB board for WOLV. I have been an IHUB member for years and was so excited to see that a board was opening up over here. However, I hesitate to get very involved with a message board that has as its stated purpose to disallow any negative posts about the company in which I have a large sum of my money parked. I have more than 100,000 shares, and have been in and out of WOLV over the last 3 years; in consistantaly for the last 7 months or so. The risk gets way too high when I cannot also see what concerns others have about the company.
That was my thought.
Are you gonna try to flip it?
Looks pretty good. I don't have the time to flip right now. You have to watch them pretty close (at least I do, LOL) and be somewhat nimble at trading.
I read Uloctralen's post as pointing out that the word "impossible" is not used. "Impossible" is not "not a viable scenario".
"Not a viable scenario" leaves room for a possibility of viability occurring at some other time that would make the situation possible, which apparently such did occur since PV did the conversion. So painting it in the light of it being presented as "impossible" by PV is a misleading reprsentation by you.
Granted, PV continually uses explanations that leave the interpretations to be open to change ad infinitum, which is the mark of someone that I tend to be wary of their word, because they can always find ways of changing that word. Doesn't mean much if you cannot hang your hat on it.
I think what he is seeing is that stock is starting to become rather predictable with its pattern of making a nice move followed by a fairly strong correction, and then rapidly recovering and then going back into a correction again. Offers multiple opportunities for profit taking and reloading ("Flips") that can be fairly accurately predicted, offering a lower risk/reward when following the chart pattern being established.
I'll try to address that this weekend, Augie. I do not know what happened. I've noticed that that happens a lot, from time to time, and after a few hours they have usually corrected themselves, but not this time.
I have been extremely busy as of late, with family issues.
I take Gateway's suggestion as a stock that is pretty predictable that you can buy it now at its current pricing and be fairly sure that you will be able to sell it somewhere around a 10%+ profit very soon (like within 2 to 5 or so trading days) - "flipper".
You missed the gist of my comment there. I detest this kind of behaviour in any company, penny stock or not.
My comment was a bit tongue in cheek.
After re-reading the PR, that $2.9MM was in 2005 and there should be an increase in profits over that, I'm guessing to about $3.6MM from other things I have read.
So, looks appropriately valued here:
3.6/160 = .023 earnings per share
.023 x 20 = .46
Now, let's see what else they will bring us in the coming weeks and we may start seeing some share price appreciation.
Thanks for the input.
Now;
1) From what I recall, they issued something like 388,000 shares for services in the first quarter. That does not seem unreasonable at all, and is an amount that is bearable to us retail shareholders, is it not?
2) I agree with you totally that this was quite a cushy deal for PV and the others that were on the receiving end. However, I see cushy deals to insiders in almost every stock in which I look to invest, which I detest, but I have got to decide whether I want to trade/invest in the markets or not. Once I decide I want to trade/invest, then I obviously have to accept that the companies are set up with the directors and executives set up to receive very nice proftis before the retail shareholders and just pick the point in the companies' development that I expect that they will decide it is time to allow share price appreciatiaon so that they can get shareholders to continue to support their equity for funding. That is what I am trying to evaluate here. I am not saying just leave that deal as "water under the bridge", but for me, to accept it as a necessary evil and to look at when I might be able to book profits from time to time.
3. AR - I am interested in what you see in the books from quarter to quarter since this is your area of expertise. I do hope that at some point soon, PV will decide to lay out some of the assets that are producing said revenues. As others on this board like to point out - this is another evil that we evidently have to accept in choosing to put money into a penny stock - we cannot expect them to be straightforward with their reporting, and evidently have no choice but to accept these truly anacceptable methods of relating to people who are putting their money in the company's hands to manage.
I'm not quite sure why PV and all are surprised that this is going back into the .30s. The numbers tell us that is where it is valued.
$2.9MM in earnings in 2006
Probably close to 160MM OS by the next 10Q
PE of 20 is being generous in this market and with a company with so many things up in the air for soooo long.
2.9/160 = .018 earnings per share
.018 x 20 = .36
Why does everybody think this should bring anything much higher than this? I do own shares right now, but still extremely concerned about the dilution that continues to be excessive, and the overhang that we just cannot get a straight answer on.
Can anyone demostrate why I should expect my share price to go up any higher than this?
Very informative post on RB:
I agree that we may be about done.
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=NMKT&read=80693
What is your take Charleoi? Do you still think they are issueing other shares to pay off people for services (and whatever else)? This looks to show that they are actually getting all the preferreds and other overhang out of the way once and for all.
Am I being too optimistic?
Also, are you comforted by the VTI loan being converted and out of the way? I know you do not like the loan's existence at all, but that is already a done deal and in the past. From this point, is it a positive that the loan may be totally converted as we sit now?
Another issue you have brought to the board is the AR. Are you comforted by the progress shown on reducing the AR in the last 10Q?
If you do not mind, please answer these questions first and then, if you have other issues you want to open our eyes to, please wait until the end of your post or put it on the next post. First, I want to see your perspective on the above issues before clouding the scene with other concerns.
Thanks for your input.
Charleoi,
Do you think IBAS is a good buy now, since they have converted all of their debt?
Do they have any overhang from preferred shares, like we are dealing with NMKT here?
ROFL!!!
Ohhh my!, That one reeks.
Thanks for the great laugh.
Thanks Scov, for all the support and kind words. I greatly appreciate it.
"You've seen a lot of stock message board posts in your time huh?...you've been-there-done-that a few time...been around the block a few times."
You have certainly got that right, LOL. Wayy too many sweaty brows from stocks that just do not meet their expectations and end up going to zero :>(. What I am trying to do as of late is hone my skills at searching through the SEC documents and other filings - I seem to be a bit challenged in that area. They make all those forms so confusing at times.
There was one guy on another board, Tingleff, that was such a pro at finding obscure information on companies and the people they got into deals with. Kind of like My02, only he would never give any thoughts about his links, just post them with a one line comment.
My02, I greatly appreciate all the searching you do, and then the thought processes you lay out for us. Your comments are very informative at times. Sorry to hear that you have decided to lay low, so to speak. So much can be learned from people who do such indepth DD.
That is one of the reasons I like to read Charleoi's posts (with a limit on the venom). They may have a slant, but they also provide some excellent links and information that I like to be aware of.
Evidently, I am still the moderator:
Speaking of this, Firecracker is partially correct that it does not take much time, but it does take a little time and effort. I have really tried to support this board in a way to provide easy and readily available access to up-to-date information by updating the information in the iBox every couple of days. Takes about 30 min every few days depending on what information happens to become available. However, much of that requires my consistent reading of RB for some of the DD provided there by members who do not post here (point in case being this newest bump up in the OS to 141).
At times, and as of late, I cannot get the time to read all the messages on the different boards of the companies in which I am invested, and read all the messages on RB. I have a tragedy going on with my stepdaughter and have to spend much of my spare time doing some research to help her. So, I am asking that people like Sandbath, Scov, My02, Socalmd, etc, who provide information they find in their DD, or who consistently read information on the RB board, to help me a bit by PMing me with any links to RB posts that you think may be of benefit for us to have available in the iBox. If you do not have PM priviledges, just post it here and I will move it up to the iBox.
Examples of the kinds of information, off the top of my head, would be:
1) When someone calls the TA for updated OS,
2) Recent PRs that the company has put out that address issues of material importance
3) DD by anyone that gives the timeframes allotted in the SEC forms for the conversions of the preferred shares
4) DD by anyone that elaborates on the history of people with whom NMKT is dealing
5) DD by anyone that find filings that happen to elaborate on any NMKT debt and conditions for repayment of the debt
6) Any changes to Sandbath's ongoing re-iterations of the NMKT financial statistics (Thank you so much for doing this on a continued basis, BTW)
7) Whatever you consider to be pertinent information that affects the valuation of the stock
Thanks in advance to anyone here who helps me out in this endeavor. Us working together as a concerted group can help us all have a full understanding of why we are invested here and what we each individually hope to get out of this endeavor. In this way, we can hopefully be of assistance to each other in increasing the value of our brokerage accounts.
I don't know. They have burned me soooooo many times before that I am just way too hesitant to jump back in. And I was one of the investors from way back in 2000.
I keep thinking I might put a little here, but EVERY time I buy on support - the support falls through and I get burned BAD.
The way I make money on this one is having the guts to buy when it is looking desperate and then SELL on the move up.
This time it may be for real, but with that SB2 for another 5MM shares, I'm kinda thinking it will still be another quarter or two till those shares are out of hte way.
I have resigned, noone will step up to taking the spot.
Do you want me to put My02 or Firecracker in?
Neither of them have volunteered either, but I will be happy to do that if it will make things more comfortable.
Well, it's at .45
Will it go on down to .42?
If it goes below .42, I may have to add a bit more. I'll wait and see the attitude at that time.
"it doesn't seem like you guys have the stomach for
the price fluctuations."
Why would you say that? I am trading this now, and I am just LOVING the fluctuations. That is what makes a trading stock profitable. I just posted to Firecracker what factors cause a change in gameplan in case he may want to see some proftis short-term also.
Now, Firecracker, since you have a bit invested here, I would not suggest you sell your core position, but just set aside a portion of your position for trading this thing while all this miscommunication continues so that you can pocket some profits from time to time to make yourself find some comfort in the fluctuations you described. It makes one sleep better at night to keep some of the long core position if you are not totally fed up with the miscommunication and inability to reach stated goals.
As I stated yesterday (and today), I do not have a substantial longterm position anymore. I will re-establish it IF and when the time is right, otherwise, I will trade these nice swings.
Godd luck.
That is why I stopped holding it and started trading it.
Once they announced they were gonna buy shares on the open market and diminsh the OS count, I strongly planned on holding, but after two weeks with no forms filed and subsequent continued increases in the OS rather than a decrease, I decided that I was under another major misconception, and went back to the trading gameplan.
I am still here. I am certainly a short-term long compared to some of the battle worn longs from years ago.
Anyway, I am still confused about the merger. The two companies are gong forward, but we still do not know about the most important one, Suntech. Does anyone think this will get completed. I say most important because, from my limited understanding, wasn't this the only one that was going to bring in sizeable revenues and a decent product line.
I may be wrong, and if so, please feel free to correct me. I would rather be set straight then uninformed.
My next question is, are they still considerieng a RS to accomplish the merger? If so, wasn't this a rather LARGE RS being considered, something like 50:1 or 100:1?
Gotta Go.
Maybe we can play in the sandbox again tomorrow.
Bring your catnip next time ;>)
LOL
I have an even better one, but I refrained, for your sake.
Hsssssssss, PFT, PFT, PFT, PFT
I checked that out and sure enough we were there. Not anymore though.
So what does that mean?
What gets a MB on the HOT! tab?
Is this good?
Hey, I do too.
Leave it to Sandbath to find something that two apparent hotheads could agree on. Thanks.
Man, I was pretty dar n mad at NMKT back in December, as were quite a few of the other shareholders. Phil had started making an effort at adressing some of that that had us bothered, and angers mellowed and price started to recover.
The impatience with the promises and then lack of completion does continue though because I expect people to do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it. If it cannot be accomplished, explain in full, why not and where the plan is now. Pretty simple.
Same attitude went with Charleoi and the meeting, which is evident by my post to him that you reference. That post clearly explains my impatience with him.
I love the way you read all my boring posts when you say you do not. I sympathize with you that you do not have other things to entertain yourself than to have to be BORED to death over and over, but I'm here for you when you need it. Enjoy what you can, makes life better.
Real simple:
When the company comes out with a PR saying they are going to do something that is necessary and a definite positive, I say, HEY, there gettin it going, I think I can like them now.
But then, when two months, 6 months, etc. down the road they HAVE FAILED TO DO WHAT THEY SAID, I get extremely irritated and DISAPPOINTED and I do NOT like the company.
Now, you tell me who is manipulating. (This comment is ONLY in context to the post presented by East as to my motives. I am not in any way saying that the COMPANY is manipulating, just pointing out that the same could be thought of any situation if one chooses to look at it in that way. And stock-holders in ANY company almost always want to view concerned shareholders as manipulators rather then seeing where their concerns come from.)
OK, please follow closely here, since you only read SOME of my posts.
On 4-22, post #4675 I posted:
"I am concerned, and getting more and more concerned. That is why I am taking Augie's suggestion to heart and have placed a sell order to take some profits off the table until they settle a couple of things. Once those shares sell, I will sit back and watch to see when they put out some REAL answers to these concerns, and when I see that they are REALLY working on reducing the fully diluted issued and outstanding rather than just telling us they are planning on taking care of it."
I announced my intention to move out of the company because I was concerned. I had placed a sell order at .52 to take profits off the table. The price had not moved to that point yet, in fact did not move to that price until the next trading day when I posted on 4-24, post #4732.
"Over a 12% move from last Thursaday - VERY NICE.
I have banked my profits and will be waiting for the mud to settle here a bit."
So, I posted what my intentions were, OBVIOUSLY I was wanting the price to move up to hit my sell order, which it did and when it did, VOILA!, I sold the rest of my shares. I quit saying anything regarding the company since many do not want to hear from people if not ACTIVELY invested, (does not mean they do not still have something invested in the wellness of the company).
At one point in time I owned over 100,000 shares, but with all the double talk from Phil, I have slowly diminished my position until yesterday, when I sold the last of it, not that that is any business of yours.
Now, with all the discussion about people who do or do not want to hear both sides of the picture that others are seeing, I lost track of paying close attention to the chart and it lapsed in my mind how close we were coming to the golden cross. After finally not having to discuss those issues any more, I spent some time looking at the chart, and as I stated this morning, I like the indicators and decided to get back in on PURELY A TECHNICAL TRADING INTEREST. ONLY for a trade until the indicators do not look favorable any more. I am not buying my 100,000 share position back, just a mere 20,000 for trading. Which my buy did get processed.
I have no interest in re-establishing my 100,000 share position until, as I stated, "Once Phil can clarify his gameplan and the financial picture more, I'll reload for the next move."
So, yes AFTER I SOLD AND ANNOUNCED I WAS NO LONGER POSTING, obviously, I was wanting it to come back down. I said I had thoughts of re-establishing my position, so what did you think, I wanted? To buy higher? Now that would not be very smart, would it? Why in the world do you think I sold? Because I was thinking it would go higher?
All my posts are sincere in that when I am in the stock and do not see the company making moves that will cause my investment to appreciate, I post such, and obviously, at those points in time, since I am frustrated with the progress or lack therof, I am looking for EXIT POINTS. I WANT the price to go UP and the company is doing little to help. When the stock does go up, I take profits. What is so confusing about that?
I thought you were not reading my posts anymore. If you are going to try to follow a train of thought, it would be best if you would read, AND THINK ABOUT, ALL the posts. If they bore you too much, quit thinking and reading, and just do your thing. As we have established, we are obviously different types of trader/investors. Nothing wrong with that. I just like to condgitate over ALL the DIFERRENT issues that can impact my investment, you evidently find that too boring. Of course, I could never speak for you and I do not even know a smidgeon about you, but the tone and content of your posts tell me that.
Now, I need to get back to business and TRY to make some money instead of cheer for my latest team.
LOL, They are pretty bold - It is awful hard to shake people on the day that the 50d MA crosses over the 200d MA.
I was hoping to see it come back down to the .42 to .45 again, but with how positive the chart looks, I'm not sure it will. So, I'm gonna try to pick them back up at .48.
We'll see if I get them.
What I see here looks pretty darn positive on the chart.
Everyone knows today we are achieveing the golden cross, but in addition
MACD is up, crossing the signal line on a nice upward slope,
CCI is approaching +200,
Money Flow (CMF) has been positive for a while
and OBV is positive with a nice upward slope
Stochs support a buy-in time for me
I may have sold too soon. Gonna buy back some shares before it goes over my sell point yesterday. Chart is just looking wayyyyyy tooo nice. If they release a PR clarifying any of the sore points, this may turn into a very nice run. And then we have the anticipation of the earnings around the 15th - we may even go to $1, if we are lucky.
Over a 12% move from last Thursaday - VERY NICE.
I have banked my profits and will be waiting for the mud to settle here a bit.
Once Phil can clarify his gameplan and the financial picture more, I'll reload for the next move.
It has been posted by many of you that you do not like to hear people who have sold (or another perspective would be - from potential buyers of the stock) if they do not actually own shares at the time, so I will cease posting until I buy again. However, I will be reading the information provided and until you find a better moderator, updating the iBox and posting to limit the personal attacks on posters who see things in an unfavorable light, or those who are attacked for being more positive than others see.
Charleoi, would you please try to keep things less personal with Phil, and more direct to the financials of the company, or lack therof. It has been requested that I stop your posting priviledges, which I am totally against such censoring of information. However, If there are personal attacks, I will have to delete the post (Again I am against such, but libel is something that is expected to NOT be tolerated on these boards, and since I am not an attorney, I will just have to go by my best judgement). All I know is that truth is the absolute defense agaist slander (oral communication) or libel (Publication or written communication), and as long as you can proove it is truth by posting substantiating links, or historical information and performance, the others on this board have no legal right to ban your posting such information.
Here's a relevant quote from ExpertLaw (http://www.expertlaw.com/library/personal_injury/defamation.html):
"The most important defense to an action for defamation is "truth", which is an absolute defense to an action for defamation."
However, legally, it does appear that you have even more of a leg to stand on as I alluded to with my discussions with Socalmd. Interested parties may refer to this link:
http://news.com.com/2HRS2GO+Court+ruling+a+boon+for+stock+message+boards/2100-12_3-261878.html
If that's not enough, google "truth defense libel."
But, for the sake of a well-functioning, HELPFUL community of posters here, I would ask that you try to not directly insult PV. If you feel the need, like I said, I am being requested to delete the posts, which I think is downright wrong. But, to help others stomach this, I will. Then I will re-word your post for others to see the information you are trying to provide. But then, you obviously will be at my disposal of being able to accurately convey your concerns, and I'm not sure you would like me re-wording your posts. I don't really like speaking for anyone, but if I must, I will. (Some here think I already do for some strange reason).
Please help out by helping me to keep your research available to those who want some sight of the risks being taken when investing in this company. You do perform some indepth DD and I appreciate it.
Now, to the rest, there are times I do not read this board for a few days, especially when I have moved my monies somewhere else for a while. So, should I not get one of Charleoi's posts deleted and re-worded in a less offensive manner immediately, show some patience. But, I think Charleoi will try to help out here and maybe this will not be an issue anymore.
testing
I like your approach. ;>)
Sometimes I think someone is an idiot and then, a few months later, they are proven right. So then, who looks like the idiot?
Who is to decide who is the idiot? Certainly NOT ME. I think everyone has their say as long as they do not bully up on other posters or start cussing.
Thanks, I remember reading that.
So is it settled that they have changed the plan from executives buying shares to the company buying shares? The consequence of the company buying shares is that it will directly decrease the OS count.
Much, MUCH better, IMO.
That is a good argument and does offer some comfort.
I am always watchful of any deal of compensation that may be deep in the filings. These deals can be set up to the owners'/directors' benefit regardless of how a company does. So, I keep these in mind so that I do not get blindsided down the road with misplaced trust.
Except for the subject here is; can I really trust what PV says he is going to do? That is ONE MAJOR FACTOR impacting whether my investment will appreciate or not.
I have posted that I certainly see what he is trying to do. The issue is that many shareholders can't see the advantage of using what he is doing to their advantage. The only way that can be done is to be open to what he puts out there, and to continue to look into the issues and make your decisions accordingly rather than avoid hearing the issues at all. That tactic is what borders on retardation.
