I don't think some people are getting it...
If I'm seeing things correctly with this company SK3/Medical Greens will play several roles in getting legal MMJ to the market and will profit on so many levels it's not even funny.
1) They'll act as a grocery store without having to stock inventory.
Just like your local supermarket has contracts with many farms to keep their produce section stocked. Ever noticed when you go to the store that one week the strawberries are from one company and the next week another?
The grocery store works with whatever farm at that time that has what their consumers need in order to keep the supply steady for the demand. Sometimes you'll even notice two brands of strawberries on the shelf, but they've got to keep that shelf full of supply in order to meet the demand.
In this scenario, a hospital would be the consumer SK3 would be the supermarket and the farmers still the farmer. Each farm will be set up to meet legal standards (i.e. maximum allowed plants per company, non-profit, etc) and SK3 will put the order together. Farm 1 can't fill an entire order for a hospital, so SK3 will arrange for farm 1 to fill what they can and will pull the rest from farm 2. As far as the hospital is concerned it all came from one farm. The hospital and farmer never directly communicate.
Regarding the 40 acres...These could have been bought or based on the wording leased with the ability to sublet. So SK3 will sublet the land with improvements (i.e. fishie farms) to a non profit company that actually does the growing.
They are setting this up in a way to stay legal while creating a large market of buyers and sellers. Something like AutoTrader comes to mind. Their slogan is "The Ultimate Automotive Marketplace" and SK3's (name change soon I'm expecting) will be something like "The Ultimate MMJ Marketplace".
AutoTrader doesn't buy or sell cars, but creates a marketplace for dealers to sell to consumers while raking in big bucks in the process. This is where the Management and Logistics side of their business will come into play.
They'll create the marketplace and arrange the logistics for the products to get to the consumer.
2) They will act as the NADA is to car dealers or the NRA is to gun owners.
They will be the go to company for advise, legal structure, lobbying efforts and more. I'm sure they'll collect annual dues of some sort and will be the go to's recognized as the industry leaders.
This is where my favorite player in this comes in handy...Jeff Benz...He'll cozy up with CA and Federal politicians or possibly even the DOJ and as long as they stay within the letter of the States law (whether CA or any of the other states they will assuredly expand into) things will be overlooked.
By the way, don't expect the Obama admin to all the sudden come out in favor of MJ as they receive too much money from big pharma to do this now. Once big pharma gets their foot in the door, then you'll see the tone in DC change.
Not too far off, but big pharma and the Feds need to see how they can best profit from this new and explosive industry. Once they do, then you'll see how fast laws will change and who's gonna' be right smack dab in the middle as the industry leaders/pioneers...? Drum roll please...
The company formerly known as SK3! Ka Ching!!!
I posted yesterday about how the company has been holding back on their business model and that's why there have been no updates to their website, but I think once these financials are out we are going to start to learn a lot more.
I'm thinking this week we will get a follow up to the fins with guidance and I'm expecting some big announcements. I feel the fins needed to come out first in their minds before any real investors (not flippers) would take their next releases seriously. They didn't want people to have the same doubts as many have about MJNA. Their stock would probably be a lot higher with the kinds of profits they are claiming, but there are too many questions about their revenues and where they are coming from. Either way, watch some big money start to roll in as Mr. Roy Laughlin starts to earn his paycheck!
I'm sure I'm not going to be spot on in all my assumptions, but I am very confident I have the gist of this business model figured out. Whether I'm spot on or a little off doesn't really matter as this company is going to be rolling in some serious dough very soon.
I only get 3 posts a day so I try to make them count and I'm sorry if this is a little long winded. Everything is in my humble opinion of course. You will look back on this chart in a few years (even weeks or months) and say "I Wish I Woulda'" if you don't get in soon!
