There's 65k on the bid and we're now at .77. I wouldn't be surprised to see this touch .80 before the EOD today.
Not rude - good question. It really depends on how you look at it. To me, there isn't any dilution until they exercise their options. And when they do, it's money in the bank for the company. But to me, it says they're giving these out for a reason, and in the corporate world, options are normally given as rewards. The number of options are small, but I believe the story behind the awards is telling, and may be big. I picked up another 10k shares 12 minutes before the closing bell. Glad I did, because I think this is going to be a big month given the PRs that are starting to come out, and given Friday's announcement about insider buying. Things are really starting to heat up. This is what I've patiently been waiting for.
Just got a notice they added an 8th recipient to receive options.
CYDY just issued an SEC Filing Alert. Just issued options to 7 employees that are priced at .57 and expire in ten years. Sounds like they're getting their ducks in a row for a reason, and obviously expecting the price to rise soon. I suspect it may be tied to reaching a milestone.
Good catch - thanks!
I think you're a little late to the party...by about 6 months.
In case you missed it - "An abstract of the pivotal Phase 2b/3 study is expected to be available online following the Conference on the ASM Microbe 2017 website. CytoDyn expects to make available on its website (www.cytodyn.com) next week additional information from Dr. Burger’s presentation at the ASM Microbe 2017 Conference. Dr. Burger is also leading the Company’s evaluation of several immunologic indications for PRO 140."
It obviously reflects their last update on Jan 5th, and will not be updated until tomorrow's presentation. Do you believe that nothing has changed in 6 months, because that's what you said in your previous post?
Another press release - CytoDyn to Present at the 7th Annual LD Micro Invitational on June 6 http://ir.cytodyn.com/press-releases/detail/261
With tomorrow's presentation/update on the combo trial from Dr. Burger, and a PR on Monday with additional information from Saturday's abstract, and next Tuesday's presentation by Dr. P, it looks like they're getting all of their ducks in a row, which sounds to me like they're still on track for completing the combo trial this month. Things are starting to heat up.
This just popped up on Yahoo and was provided by ABC's Good Morning America. Doesn't mention Pro-140, however it wouldn't surprise me to see him showing up on some of the morning talk shows soon with all of this publicity.

Thanks!
I may be wrong but I think the number of bone transplant patients with leukemia and other cancers who need bone marrow from another person but don't get transplants, is a much larger number of potential patients who can benefit from Pro-140 and no doubt will want to participate in the trial.
Misiu, since you have established a connection with Dr. P and he quickly responds to your emails, you may want to check with him to see what they believe will be the annual market size for this specific treatment. Just a suggestion. Thanks!
According to this website, there are 20,000 bone marrow transplants in the U.S. every year: http://whyfiles.org/shorties/086stem_blood/
"Each year, about 20,000 bone marrow transplants are conducted in the United States for these diseases. But according to Kaufman, only about 25 percent of patients with leukemia and other cancers who need blood or bone marrow from another person actually get transplants."
It's interesting that 75% of the patients with leukemia and other cancers who need blood or bone marrow from another person, can't get transplants. That tells me there's a much larger market than 20,000.
Thanks Hyperbolic - I always enjoy and look forward to your posts!
Axe - thanks for including the facts instead of opinions wrapped in black-cloud pessimism.
As I said before, the numbers in the abstract are the same numbers they released during the Jan 5th conference call, when Dr. P. said "As of today, we have enrolled 12 patients and need 18 more to complete enrollment". There have been no enrollment updates since then that I'm aware of. That was 4 months ago. So if you'd like to believe there's been no progress in 4 months, or that since Jan 5th "two patients that dropped out don't count toward the 30 needed and maybe 2 more had dropped out", that's fine with me. I prefer to focus on what I know, and to make my investment strategies based on the facts.
In your original post, you said "The current focus on adjunct is not allowing them to enroll into mono and co is just not moving". Yet in this post, you acknowledge Tony's comment "we have not been putting a lot of pressure on the sites to enroll the monotherapy patients as quickly as they could". That's quite a negative stretch to say "not putting a lot of pressure" is the same as "not allowing them to enroll into mono".
In the same comment, Tony also said "I suspect that once we engage and put a full-court press on to the enrollment of the 300 patients will find that it will be readily enrolled". It appears the "full-court press" began Thursday night with Charlie Sheen's involvement in the PR gathering at the Roosevelt Hotel in L.A.
One thing is certain, and that is we're finally getting the exposure that we needed in this country and not just the UK. Everywhere I look this weekend, I'm seeing articles about Charlie Sheen and Pro-140. It's on MSN, Foxnews, N.Y. Daily News, etc. Until now, whenever it was announced that Charlie would be giving an interview, we crossed our fingers and hoped he would mention Pro-140. That's all changed now, and he's now on a crusade to bring Pro-140 to the forefront and to get it on the market. I don't think the crusade ended on Thursday, but is just getting started. I expect other news outlets will continue to pick this up which should include tv interviews and more. This is the exposure that we've been waiting for. I suspect Dr. P and the CROs will be very busy this week responding to the many people who are infected with HIV and who read how much Charlie's health has improved due to Pro-140. And he's been on it for almost a year. They're going to want to get off the HAART regiment and on Pro-140 ASAP. Looking for those patients who are sick enough to participate in the adjunct trial has been like looking for a needle in a haystack. With all of this exposure over the weekend, many of those people are now going to be aware of the trial. And it doesn't end there. Think of all of the investors who are going to be reviewing CYDY this weekend after reading about how this drug has the potential to help millions of people, and is in two Phase 3 trials. And not to mention people who work at the FDA who may be reading these articles. A close friend of mind told me yesterday that their friend, who works at the FDA, was asking them about it.
Last Thursday, there was a flurry of activity and ~250k shares were purchased within 30 minutes of the closing bell. There was a reason for that. Someone was thinking ahead. And I suspect it's going to get VERY interesting over the next few weeks with Charlie giving more interviews while pushing Pro-140. I think the odds of reaching their goal to complete the enrollment for adjunct and enrolling 100 patients for mono by the end of next month just increased exponentially. Just my opinion of course, but I'm starting to get excited, not depressed.
Tony never said mono would be later. I was on the conference call and the point he was making was their goal is to get adjunct across the finish line first, not to put mono on hold. He also said they plan to have 100 patients enrolled in mono by the end of next month. "We expect to complete enrollment in our Phase 3 PRO 140 combination trial by the end of June. Clearly, there will be an additional week of data compilation and as more data becomes available to us, we will be reporting it through press releases. We will continue advancing recruitment in our 300 patient Phase 3 HIV trial with PRO 140 as a monotherapy."
To have this type of exposure on MSN and Foxnews this weekend is very encouraging, and should help to speed up enrollment for the mono trial, especially since it's much less restrictive. I wonder if this will be reflected in next week's trading.
I thought I read somewhere that Martin would be attending instead of Charlie. I wonder if they were both there...
Yeah, it sounds like a promotional event, but knowing how Hollywood supports the LGBT community, I'm beginning to wonder if it's more of a fund raiser, especially with Martin Sheen there. With Sheen's connections, I would think they can raise a large sum of $ in the blink of an eye.
I suspect the late afternoon flurry of activity had to do with people wanting to get in prior to the CYDY meeting in LA tonight at the Roosevelt Hotel. Just a hunch...
I haven't lost a dime. Probably because I didn't panic and sell. Therefore you lost more than me. haha
