IMNP
Started a position in IMNP at .70 today. This one has been absolutely crushed of late (like other small bios), but insider buying has been very active, with the CEO adding 65,400 shares at .76 and a director adding 150,000 shares at .78 on 12/7.
They also hired a guy with experiece closing deals, which fills a huge void following their inability to sell off AmiKet after saying they would do so in q2.

Also added BIOD. Still sitting on 45% cash as the micro-bios end of year sell is upon us.
Yup, the $$'s right and Cabrera will suffice. Looks to me like the Mets will follow last year's template: hang tough until July and then scoop up the bigger pieces just before the trade deadline. It's hard to imagaine a scenario where the Mets get as much bang for their trade deadline buck as they did last year with Cespedes, Clippard and Johnson/Uribe.
I doubt nobody comes out of the NL East in 2016 except for the division winner. The Wild Cards will come from the big 3 in the Central or from the Snakes and Giants reloading in the West.
If the season were to start today, I'd have to pick the Nats in the East. Their bad luck last season was compounded by their stupidity in dealing for Papelbum. If they can rid themselves of that cancer and stay a bit healthier, it'll be a tough repeat for the Mets.
Snakes are the team to beat in their division now. Nice peddle on Inciarte at the peak of his value. They have 2 amazing arms at the front end...
Lots of REITs at 52 week lows and paying amazing divvies. I hold NRZ and VER, which doesn't yield as much but could develop into a decent turn-around play.

LIFE
Opened a position at $8.49.
- Baker Bros holding
- Trading at 52 week low
- 60% institution held
- phase 1b/2 data due on Resolaris late Q4 2015 or Q1 2016
- As of September 30, 2015, the number of shares outstanding was 23.6 million and the Company had cash, cash equivalents and investments totaling $136.8 million.
Wouldn't surprise me. IMO, Price is the only starter out there with Scherzer potential this off-season. I dont' trust Grenkie to maintain last year's elite level which is the $$ he will command this off-season.
I think both Grenkie and Cueto will get longer contracts than the 3 years max that I'd sign them for.
There's an Edinson Volquez out there just waiting to put on a Brewers uniform in 2016!! Maybe Samardzija?
Hard to justify an elite closer for the likes of Masterson and Miley. Looks like slick boy Danny Dumbo has snagged full-use of John Henry's platimun card this off season and will not be on the losing side of either Grenkie or Price....or both.
Last year the Sox rotation was a nightmare...but then again so were Hanley and Panda....
Yup. Gotta spend that scooby snack from Braeburn. What better way than paying themselves?
VASO
Takeaways from the CC:
-1.9 million cash
-backlog of 3 $million in Q3 compared to 1 $million in Q2
-Improved IR/ shareholder communication in 2016
-optimism all around for the future
Also encouraging to see the company has a dozen solid job ads on its website. Nice jump for a company of 80 employees.
Lots of new markets coming online, both domestic and international.
VASO
Still holding my shares. Maybe the CC will help spread the good news!
CBAY
Bought some CBAY at 1.53. This one has been scraping 52 week lows on light volume. I'm hoping Carl Goldfischer (director) has sold out of his position and moved along.
Topline data from the Phase 2 trial in HoFH is anticipated by year-end 2015
And from July 27:
CymaBay sold 8,188,000 common shares in the offering, including the 1,068,000 common shares that were issued upon the full exercise by the underwriters of their over-allotment option. The offering price was $2.81 per share.
3Q info:
CBAY will host a conference call and live audio webcast on Thursday, November 12th at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time (1:30 p.m. Pacific Time) to provide a corporate update and discuss the Company's financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
Conference Call Details:

TROV
Auto sell triggered at $5.45. Will look to re-enter under $4.80
I really like this one.

AVXL
As Mark Twain once quipped, "There are 3 types of untruths: lies, damned lies and statistics."
AVXL
Here's why I think it gets crushed (some more)
1. minuscule sample size
2. Aricept is already a less than marginal treatment for Alzheimers
3. Hype/run-up over the past few months assumed better news than "not significant".
Full disclosure: No position.
BRM.V
Looks good at 13 million OS. Any concern for you about the 20 million shares coming due in August 2016?
CBAY getting absolutely hammered lately even as small bio recovers. Anyone know why?
The Mets aren't the first team to have a great season and a shitty world series.
Look at the bright side: from 52-50 they won their league.
Deals for Cespedes, Clippard and Johnson got them over the line in the regular season. Murphy and the rotation won them the pennant.
The Series showed the massive holes the team will need to fill before they can expect to win it all: defence, bullpen and baserunning.
You forgot to ask who had the better rotation.
You forgot to ask who had the better rotation?
I don't disagree with your assessment all in all. The Royals were stacked and played well. All credit to them for staying focused this season after coming so close last year. Theirs is a blueprint a lot of clubs will be studying closely this off season.
2015 season RIP.
Only a Royals fan could have enjoyed this series. I'm not a fan of the Mets or the Royals, but who wanted a bush-league series like this? It's hard to say "the Royals are the better team" because the Mets played so poorly. Fairer to say "the Royals played better than the Mets"....but then again, so did my kid's little league team.
LOL. I don't think Bruce Bochy would agree.
Not at all. Harvey was spectacular. This decision wasn't a vote of no confidence in Familia.
In game 3 he stuck with Thor and it worked.
I would be curious to know how much WS tickets are at other ballparks.
Last time they were printed in Milwaukee they were about 3 dollars fifty cents each. Behind the plate.
You're right about Familia. That 10th was sweet. Hero time tonight for one of the teams. Like to see Uribe get a shot.
NO doubt. Crap D again. No way a run comes across on that ground ball. Woesome
And Murphy has 7 home runs in the post season, but this series?
Moot point: Here comes Familia!
Think of it this way TC:
You leave Harvey in for the 9th and he loses: Who's going to blame you for not bringing in Byung-Hyun Familia?
You bring in Familia and he loses: It's gonna be a long, long winter
I hope he can go 9. My confidence in Familia is not too high in this series.
Yup. He should have been leaf-blown into the dugout. Thank god he didn't hit it on the ground; would have been 2 if not 3. Won't miss his bat or for that matter his "work" in the field. Not to mention how his injury delay effects Harvey....
And Murphy's was a DP ball. Lucky break,. Royals looking like the Mets!
Yup. No DP please
Clutch 6th for Harvey. That was tight- Mets have been up in close games only to see it disappear in the 6th/7th.
let's see if they can add to their total of 1 hit. Might be time to pinch hit the ace in the whole: CUDDYER!!!!!!!
Yup. The Mets have really stunk up the joint in the series. I was really hoping for a clash between 2 teams playing to their full potential, a 7 game series this year, but that's looking pretty slim unless Harvey and DeGrom can go the distance.
Hard to believe that Cespedes is a former gold glover...and the talk of signing Murphy to a big off-season contract seems to have diminished considerably as he plays closer to his professional norm in the series.
Still it would be nice to see them take it back to KC.
Appropriate ending to this one. Don't take it too hard - KC has been doing this to everybody!
They got 4 hits. Take conforto and young's wp out of the mix and you have zilch.... Looked to me like CY was very hittable tonight. Can't see how they're going to spring to life against Davis.
Yup. Too many gifts, too few hits.
Wow. I can't believe he got him on the 11th pitch!
Niese...... Can't Reed pitch 2 innings? Clippard? TC needs to study Bochys playback.
Should have yanked matz
