When you say something, that kind of sounds like a dividend. That would be taxable. Am I warm?
Not if he was the one who deleted the off topic messages yesterday. If so, he obviously had time then.
Not sure this makes sense. At that time they had Authorized 180mil, but only issued 87mil, with 63mil restricted, and 24mil in float. Now, why couldn't they have just changed he autorized from 180mil to 87mil and been done. Then if they wanted to retire some of the restricted and bought some of the 24mil in float, they could do that as well. Keep in mind tough that this was before the offer from the buyer. They would have wanted to keep all their restricted shares so they could get paid on them in the buyout.
If he is the one cleaning it up, then he surely could have answered the question regarding share structure. Therefore, he definitely must be waiting to announce he float at the same time of news about deal done. He wouldn't spend time cleaning off questions and then not answer the one question he promised to answer this week. Now I'm pumped again about news today.
Soapy, are we going to see another filing today? Anything you can tell us?
My question under the topic of share count was not deleted.
Hell ROB, I would never question you. I think you're right. lol
Here is another angle.

Hear Hear! Good points Johnny. Everyone is just excited and it seems that time drags by from one day to the other. It will happen and we'll all be happy.
Millionaires??? I love the sound of that. It seems to fit with my idea of the future and what I want to do. Keep saying it.
WP, you're right, I don't KNOW anything. But I can be optomistic can't I? People can believe what they want, I'm just saying I've got a feeling. Positive vibes are better than negative vibes. Personally, something does feel right to me. But then I'm just the 800lb Gorilla in the room.
I am convinced the deal is going to close this week. I can't see Galo telling us he will tell the share count this week and then not do it. I think his plan is to disclose the float at the same time he announces the closing of the deal. The shorts won't know what hit them and they will scramble like hell. At least I hope so, cause I am also convinced that the Company already owns most if not all of the float. Get ready for the next two days to be nerve wracking and crazy. My opinion only. Go BIHC, we're all ready to rock n roll.
I guess I am confused. By Doug reporting his 41 mil shares, what would the Company need to do to create a short squeeze, and how would that play out. Take me through a step by step scenario. I didn't understand how the VW Porshe squeeze worked, what started it, etc. but it sounded kinda like what is going on here. Thanks
GMD, I think you have it right. Every time I see good PR's, I think here we go this is going to move this stock up and get the run going. But every time the shorts do their thing and the stock moves down or stays level. They are very good at making us suspicious. It is almost comical how theses posts are higher than a kite one day and the next down in the dumps. I can't tell you how many times I hear "Last chance to get em at this low price" only to see them there the next several days. But I believe that the shorts have screwed themselves and they have to know that. What goes through their heads, I don't know, but I do know that at some point in time the Com pany will do what they have always planned and stick it to them. If the naked shorts are really in the 100m-200m range, My God, they will get killed and we will rake it in. That is what I am waiting for. GLTA and all IMO.
Now that most of us look each day at the fourum on BIH website, and Galo is answering questions, is there any real reason for him to put out a PR rather than just telling us the same thing on the forum? Who else that matters, would he reach with a PR? Maybe he used it as a way to tell the buyer that they were serious about fair market value. Seems to me that there is some reason he wanted it in a PR. But maybe not.
Does anyone else think it would be fair and justified if
Galo would let us know what all is going on with Baron and its contracts, potential revenues and income? I appreciate the PR, but just in case the deal goes south, it would be nice to know what we own shares in. Surely if there was no buyout of Baron going on, he would be keeping us abreast. Should still be doing that, sale or no sale.
It was back around October 24th when he told us of his conversation with Young, and he said 90 days.
I have 750,000 shares to add to your list
SoapyBubbles and PremierStocks were both tickled to death yesterday after the close and both kept giving clues about something coming up. They both indicated the 14th. Don't know what it is though.
The figure of 180 million is the Authorized Shares. They have only issued 87 mil shares and of that 63 mil are restricted and owned by Galo (&/or Ingala). That leaves 24 mil in the float, and if the company bought back the 16 mil they earlier stated, then there is only 9 mil actively available to be traded. That is why everyone believes there are a lot of naked shorts ie. air shares out there being passed around from MM to MM. If so, then there should be the Mother of all squeezes whenever the news hits that the deal is done and a divy is indeed going to be paid. Cool. It will be something to watch.
WPO, I hear you, but I will say that having him answer questions on the website has made me a helluva lot more comfortable. He seems to be telling us that the deal is progressing, looks like it will get done in 2008, and they are working hard and fast to make it happen. That is more than he would probably say in a PR. As far as a PR raising the PPS, I doubt it, because if the PR was good, who would be selling. There would maybe be some buyers but no-one would sell for less than the divy, and the MM's are trying their best to keep the price down. Only when this deal is finally announced as done will the MM's give up their control and the shorts will struggle to cover driving the PPS up to where we can all make some good profits. I am ready to watch the show and make some bucks.
So, November 13th is the day to watch?
187 mil authorized, but only 87 million issued and outstanding. 63 million held by management and restricted from sale, leaving 24 million in actual float. 16 million purchased back by company, so there should be only 9 million available float.
I'm not a mindreader, but I still say that Galo put the forum up on their website because he knew the deal was about to close and he wanted visitors, (not just us shareholders), and possible new investors, to see all the positive posts. No way he would put it up if the deal was still in limbo and could go on for several more months. That would just create too many negative posts, and no company wants that on their website. I say hold on to your hats, the news is about to come.
I would have expected Galo to say "Hell yeah there is a lot of naked shorts and the plan is to take em down with this dividend". However, he may very well know what is going on but doesn't want to tip the shorts off with his plan to burn them with the divy. Hell, I don't know.
Borrowing can only take place by legitimate shorts who borrow from margin accounts, but they cannot borrow from cash accounts, is that correct? If so, is there that many shareholders in this stock that have margin accounts? I ask because I don't know. Thanks.
I find it strange that Cris Galo does not believe there is significant naked shorting going on with this stock. He says that no changes have been made with the O/S or A/S, so surely he can see the huge amount of shares that have been previously traded that far exceed the float. Especially since they have bought back 16 mil of the 24 mil float, leaving only 9 mil to be traded. Hmmmmmm. What do you think?
Just an observation that it seems that if Galo felt deal was going to close in 08, why after all this time and so close to closing would he finally open up a forum where he would have to spend a lot of time answering a lot of questions. I think the closing is right around the corner and he knew he would only have to spend a short amount of time on the forum before good news was available. Just thinking out loud.
Don't know if there are any naked shorts on this stock, but if there are would the ssplit or symbol change require them to cover and could there be a squeeze?
Carp, my post said if the deal does not close. It seems to me that if we got a PR saying the deal fell through but due to the income made by Baron in the last 6 months, we are still going to issue a divy of $.xx. I would then hold on to my shares hoping for a short squeeze. If deal is going to happen, then of course they would not want to do this.
Maybe even if the deal is not closing, BIH could still authorize a small divy just to get the short squeeze we have been waiting for. Surely they have made some money off Baron over the last 6 months, and with a small divy we could maybe salvage some good profits. However, I can't imagine this deal not happening after all this time.
My thoughts exactly master. Hopefully it is because we are going to have good things to say.
I guarantee you I will forever tout the word "Patience". I'm not bitching, just anxious. I have 1.3 million shares and I dream every night about this stock flying to $2 in a huge short squeeze. It will happen and we will all be rich from a little ol penny stock. Cool!!!
I truly believe they have already bought back all the float. They already had 16 million of the 24 million back when this buyout was first announced. To buy the other 9 million would cost $118,000 @ .02 per share and that would be a bargain for the .19-.23 they would get in the buyout. Why it is taking so long is amazing considering they had a willing buyer, they had 5 days for DD, they received new contracts and upped the price which the buyer agreed to do, etc. I own two closing companies and we close commercial and residential transactions every day and although the lawyers are usually the slowest part of the deal, I don't see the deals taking this long. If I was the buyer, I would want to hurry this along before the seller decides that all the new contracts Baron has to be getting due to the new TAKK system, will make the share price much higher than the agreed upon sale price. Personally, I believe that regardless of what most on this board say about No News is Good News, and stop whining about no PR, it is only right to let us know that the deal is on track and destined for closing. If they want us to invest in their next venture they should know that being well informed is much better than uninformed. My opinion only, but I know that most here would like to hear something.
I just filled 200,000 at .032.
Here is a good link to a story about the marketing powers of Spongebob. It is an article from 2002, so imagine what it is today.
http://www.usatoday.com/money/covers/2002-05-17-sponge-bob.htm
Just got clarification from tturner on Yahoo:
Just talked to SM--on clearification of "3rd qtr 09" Said will ship spongebob in Jan 09--missed x-mass, but what the hell.
Rambob, are they saying that the Spongebob deal will start next Christmas (2009), or this Christmas (3rd qtr starts Dec 1, 2008).
Carp, I think I read before that if you buy stock and the broker places the order, then he is liable even if the shares are air shares. But what if we buy the stock online ourselves. Are the brokers still liable to cover or to make sure whoever shorted covers?
Never mind Carp, I re-read what he said and now I see what he means.
