News for 'AMHD' - (Amelot Holdings, Inc. Announces Barbados Project Update)
CHEYENNE, Wyo., Jul 15, 2008 (PrimeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Amelot Holdings,
Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMHD) is pleased to announce that the company is less than 6
weeks away from the official start up of its Barbados subsidiary.
The new subsidiary will focus on recycling the island's used cooking oil,
converting the yellow oil into biodiesel fuel. Handel Callender, Managing
Director, and Greg Hawkins, Business Development Manager, have been hard at work
building a solid and reputable foundation for the new subsidiary as well as
initiating and developing partnerships throughout the island. The National
Parish Ambassador's Program has been the most vital partnership thus far. The
program focuses on community development awareness as part of the Island's
independence celebration. Mr. Callender has begun working with the Parish
Ambassadors of St. Thomas in order to establish a collection program for used
cooking oil. The Parish along with Amelot plans to build the collection program
through education, and public awareness. The Future Centre, a local educational
organization on environmental issues, will be another key counterpart and
partner in educating Barbadians about this renewable energy source. Negotiations
are in the works for Amelot to operate from within the Centre's main facility.
"The development of this new subsidiary is coming along as planned," stated Aziz
Hirji, President of Amelot Holdings, Inc. "We are in the process of adding a new
processing system that could ramp up our production to 15,000 gallons per month,
more than double our original production estimate. This processing system will
be the model for future programs throughout the Caribbean and the world. Our
design is mobile, thus, making it very easy to move and set up in locations with
increasing demands for Biofuel.
"Amelot is looking forward to being a valuable part of the Green Initiative in
Barbados and throughout the Caribbean. Management has been working hard with the
local Parishes, and we hope to begin working closely with the Ministry of
Environment and Barbados Light and Power in order to further educate the public.
Amelot will strive to be a solid foundation and leader in the effort to make
Barbados, and the rest of the Caribbean, more energy self-sufficient and
environmentally responsible."

welcome to the board CRDonbray

I believe Jared smiles inside everytime he says shareholder value is important. He cares for
share-HOLDERS
not
share-flippers
share-shorters
or
share-bashers
going to retract part of that statement. If AMHD actually does acquire the business from the shabby t-shirt guy in Barbados, I guess technically AMHD would be a biofuel producer if he doesn't blow himself up
Jim
my posting habits would not change whether I own shares or not. AMHD is for flippers only. Newbies buy the hype and lose money. AMHD will never produce one drop of bio-fuel or jatropha oil.
IMO
one can trade on the unsuspecting but not my gig
This is only my opinion-please DD before you buy or sell

chart looks down to me
Nice volume? If you think 8 million buys and 54 million in sells is nice.

John Gernannt stated:
I liked this because I was there to pick his brain so to speak. Mr. Aziz is all business and just like us he intends to make money from the bio fuel Industry.
oops...I guess Gerannt must have shares after all
I'm suppose to get excited because a IR guy says so?
what are odds that an IR guy states something positive about the company he works for?
you'll need to do better than that WT
just fluff for the herd
Jim

I'm confused-should we believe Aziz' figure(6000/mo)or The Barbados guy (1200/mo)that is actually producing?
Aziz states 6000 gallons produced per month and the Native Sun guy in Barbados who is now producing 100 gallons per week states with the new money(20k)from Aziz he could ramp up to 300 gallons per week(1200 gallons per month)
http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/080710/146131.html
"Amelot's subsidiary will begin production in 60 days, and should ramp up to 6,000 gallons per month very quickly."
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=30590723
"Operating in modest surroundings at the Future Centre Trust in Edghill, St Thomas, Native Sun produces 100 gallons of bio-diesel a week – from used cooking oil – which is sold to a number of individuals and small operators who use it mainly for vehicles and generators."
He told the Weekend Nation
in an interview this week he is in the final stages
of an agreement with an American firm – whose name he wanted to withhold until the deal was sealed – for a $20 000 plus investment into his current one-man operation. This would result in more equipment and expansion of production to more than 300 gallons a week, plus hiring additional staff.
And for our resident expert Todd?
how many litres of used cooking oil would need to be collected to produce 1200 gallons of bio?
sorry to make you work after hours,
Jim
selling shares
you are replying to the wrong poster
a friend of a friend?-great DD
what state is the Shell station in?
Jim
great DD-a friend of a friend-solid
I was agreeing with that poster's rounding off and the fact he was emphasizing only around 900 million OS
but you are right-it is less-at 864 million
Jim
I confirmed OS unchanged on 7/8 also
Jim
and yes-only 900 million
