Interesting photos on the other board post #45353 from "Flyng J". The lithium battery news reinforces my belief that the wall is there so they can test the photovoltaics outdoors without prying eyes. NR's of these tests are being held back imo. The pps should shoot up no matter pinks or bb when nr's released.
C'mon shorts take us to the green.
"anyone listend to the interview with Dr. Andrew J. Manning from Lithium Technology on wallst.net?
He said they will introduce a new 120 Ampere Lithium Cell for a High Altitude Airship..."
This is a piece of news I was waiting for, thanks for bringing it to our attention Jim.
Geez, when it was just the delisting alone nobody was shouting it would be the end of GTE, now because of the SEC wanting to access an evaluation on top of the delisting it's doom, gloom and down the tubes.
Many were even revelling in a delisting status saying it was the best thing possible. To use an old cliche, it's always darkest before the dawn.
A lesson I am taking away from this though is to never own another AMEX stock.
"plus a $7.50 commission (Globe says that it collects 50 cents of that)"
A noteworthy tidbit of info from the article.
Ameritrade has no shorting restrictions at this time.
although who the hell would be short GTE right now? Unless they had the power hand to manipulate. It seems to me that with the right combinations of NR's that even heavy players could have their shorts burned.
"GlobeTel Communications Corp. GTE today announced that its GlobeTel Wireless subsidiary has installed a HotZone 4010-based wireless broadband network in Heilbronn, Germany and is now conducting final testing of the network."
Yes, it is "operational". How can they be performing tests if it doesn't operate.
As someone pointed out earlier, the outdoor testing behind a wall may be for photovoltaic testing.
According to Pachala GTE was supposed to be at $3.50 on the 28th.
Looks like Pachala is jumping the gun a little.
In due time.
"One other question: GTE put up a lot of money for a seat on the AMEX exchange, shouldn't they be given a refund of those fees?"
Would a crook give back the money they just stole from you?
This is getting interesting, well qualified director announcement, the end of the AMEX uncertainty near, and a lot of investors have been waiting on the sidelines.
8k about Hayne was released. Seen as a positive for GTE.
The resolution of the uncertainty factor tomorrow is why I think we may get a pop no matter what the decision. Like another poster stated earlier...investors hate uncertainty.
Pardon my ignorance, but does that mean there are restrictions on trading the short interest?
This walk down action is so blatant, makes me wonder where the sp would be without it. If i need to choose a reason I pick accumulation.

"Heilbronn and its conurbation have 450,750 inhabitants"...!???
The Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) is located in the federal state of Rheinland-Pfalz in the southwest corner of the country. This area is the main wine growing region for Germany and also known for the largest connected forest, the Palatinate Forest. K-Town as some call it, is know for being the largest American community outside of the US Over 34,000 Americans share this community with inhabitants from over 70 nations.
Kaiserslautern
Located in Rhineland Palatinate, south western Germany
Close to Heidelburg and the Palatinate Forest
Population of 120,000 people
Heilbronn 120,000 (to 450,750)
Kaiserslauern 120,000 (+34,000 military?)
Erfurt 202,590
Total: At least 442,590
Thanks, and that's what I thought, there is a name for the asset, (not blue sky), but...
Thanks for the info and glty too. Any idea on the population of the rest of the area or the other two cities? Somebody posted this info here once and I was too busy to copy it.
Thought I'd edit this and throw in some humour.
Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting ... Well for example, the other day I went into town and went into a shop. I was only in there for about 5 minutes, when I came out there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.
?I went up to him and said, "Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a f***** break" He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a Nazi turd. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tyres. So I called him a s---head. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.
Personally, I didn't care. I came into town by bus. I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm retired. It's important at my age..........
You meant 600k per month, right? Btw, there are 1.1 million people in the area of a full build out if a previous poster is correct. (Not counting military).
Thanks, it just seems to me the fixed assets that are there would have more value if they are generating an excellent cash flow. Maybe not, just pondering about stuff I know nothing about.
1.1 mill, 110K to 170K +20K?...130k to 200k + 5.2 mill to 8 mill per month would be revenues, (so monthly revenues would be counted as assets?), geez, never mind assets, thats a lot of revenue for ONE area, and it's without Wimax yet.
Anyy ideas on how much value an operating hotzone 4010 as in Germany will boost asset value, if any?
Lol, and they informed you yesterday that because of your boozin that you make more than others who don't.
Keep on Truckin'
So with that last 100k taken out anybody thinking we still have a chance for a higher pps going into the close? Looks like it to me.
If the online brokerages would post this news, the possibility of breaking .58 would increase dramatically. We'll see after this next wave of profit taking is over, it may do it anyway.
Then there is always a chance of a different piece of good news hitting.
lol! I'm downright goofy then as fixated as I am on GTE.
Here comes the .60...maybe....hopefully
Certain amount of profit taking should be out of the way by now. And up we go!
It isn't even up on Ameritrade yet, I wonder if it will even come through at all.
Pulled the remainder of my order, ready to resubmit I'm ok either way. What an interesting development. Finally, some decent hard news.
I guess thats all I'm getting at ...47.
I feel lucky at that.
Don't forget to send copies to your legislators.
ok, sumbudy noes sumpin.
Somebody had to say it.
A PROPOSED sale of securities does not mean the sale was carried out. APPROXIMATE DATE OF SALE is the PROPOSED DATE.
You really don't think posters on this board have not taken his identity to task? Maybe you should call him and verify it yourself like a few posters here have already done.
The owners and the amounts were posted.
Could they be holding up contracts until after the 29th?
Too much time has passed with too many possible developments, either good or bad, for me to come to any other conclusion than that there is indeed a news blackout. The CNBC piece was a one time pump that, as good as it was, didn't really work very well. Like Pit said, no follow up meant a continued erosion of the pps. I'm beginning to think the news release strategy will be based on the AMEX decision. They have two different news release outlines with many items sitting in front of them, each tailor made to best support the pps according to the outcome.
My e-mail just now to GTE, I'll let you know the response if Rob doesn't mind, (if there is a response):
Hi Rob,
I know you and everybody else at Globetel are busy so I’ll be quick.
We spoke once on the phone several months ago. I am ****** *******, (***k+ shares), into GTE because I believe in the business model, the emerging tech, and the people putting it together. Lately I and I’m sure many others are feeling left out in the dark. We know developments are happening but we see no updates. There are so many issues without news that the feeling is that there is a news blackout. The shareholders own the company, it is reasonable to let us know updates or at least have an explanation of why we are not being informed. Will we need to wait until after Sept. 29th to hear of any news?
Sure would appreciate a response
Thanks,
**** ******
Where did all the other start ups in the history of capitalism get the money when they had a viable growing business model and new tech products? If the strat is succesful "they" will make ample funding available. If the other 4 divisions are succesful then the amount of money needed will be significantly less. Build outs and strat deliveries will have upfront payments made, (from a recent hard earned lesson).
Now, how about you come up with some sources companies have historically used to fund businesses that eventually brought them to resounding success. I expect you to dance around this issue, bashers usually do.
Please elaborate on why the strat has a better chance of not being built, maybe you know more than the NASA engineers and other professionals that came on board and we need to be informed that they may be wrong.
