followgte, thats the conflict I was referring to, I do not know any specifics, but your info, and that of mide, still has me wondering, like how much gtem stock does Bob have in his contract, what will motivate him the most. get out and run with the money, stay and make his stock soar, through dilligent effort to get strat contracts asap.
I agree, why would you risk employment of a great staff by putting them somewhere unhappy. we all know it would not be cost effective to ship it there for each test when your a nano-cap company. maybe things will be different in the future, private funding, institutional investors. novel idea, no, basic premise for a world changing tech company that has its act together.
if the strat goes to altitude, so will the stock price!
thats where re-design of supports would come in? I am not that familiar with bouyancy at that altitude, I do know there is not much ATM pressure up there, very few molecules bouncing around compared to sea level. sans1 shape looked good to me, it seemed more of weight reduction then re-design, I dont know.
I wonder if members on the board felt that these delays, using heinsight, would not exist if re-design on sans1 were attempted instead of whole new design of sans2. I dont get it, was there design flaws that big that they could not use it with new material in structure.
from one of Bleckmans responses to someone on thie board, I am not sure where he is at in his position. he lashed out saying this is a period of more PRs/changes than any other. is he trying to say be happy for changes, does he not understand its easy to inspire changes when SEC is looking over your shoulder. I am interested in results, as most serious and logical investors are doing. why not, the company has made many promises with shareholder money coming in, they need to post results in order to get a pat on the back from me, confidence from market, to get a step back on to an exchange that will inspire investment not trading games.
Just another non event day for GTE. monday is rarely my favorite day.
keep that cash handy Jimbo, I think you will be buying back soon. comfort level is coming.
dont listen to them, here title says it all, you dont get your doctorate by floating around. they are bashers, looking for anything and everything to critique.
eq, why would you think they are history, because Bob may be gone, is on his way out, or a receptionist does not know the answer.
the way I see it, Bob was the focus of many delays, seems he spent a lot of time with too many things on the table. he also may have conflict of interest problems, not sure. If he is gone, I hope he will be OK. But sanswire, imo, has very much to look forward to, and soon.
If you can, Bob smiths er Jones phone number and call him or make an appointment. many here would truly appreciate what you could come up with. I dont want to read posts for the next month about Bob to be or not to be with Sanswire. thanks
I tend to agree, you dont transfer your authority when in that position, its a lack of communication or there is changes we are not aware of yet.
SAM, what are the volumes saying. to me, silence does not mean anything until the facts are out, share with me your insight please. the last I knew, there is someone new running the wireless business in Germany, I am interested to understand why they would hire anyone when going out of business.
Beagle on SHRN. Busiest time of the year coming up...still no news. Hopefully we'll see something this wk.
I was hoping also, Eliron should not count on increase in traffic for activeshopper to spur stock movement. first it is not increasing to an extent to warrent movement, and second, stock price will only move if the company is moving. holiday shopping is temporary and residual traffic would only be a percentage of this. revenue is increasing from site activity and ads, but only new products expanding into new markets will justify Corso absorbing all the shares in the float. lets see if he keeps to his promises about all the plans he had, I think he will but still has a month left to get his 06 plans working.
trust me, I'm tired of waiting while other companies are growing left and right, like others, there is a point when we take our losses and move on.
my guess is that they were careless as a company because they felt they had what everyone wanted, a stock that goes up and up and up. we all know it's not true, look at it now. thing is, will it appear anytime soon, so we can get back to a real exchange with the pro's.
lol, so what do you call the hundreds of hours you spend here for the last 3 years doing whatever it is you think you are doing. your.... open mind!
thanks Rocky, you do seem to have a lot of information at your finger tips.
dealio is gaining steam, doing very well. lets hope activeshopper does well also.
jf, there are many wacky posts here, its painful to come here and even bother reading most of them.
Its not a scam, they have a thriving company. this board, or should I say some posters, makes it out that way. I see a HUGE buying op if certain things occur, otherwise its just like any other stock, still waiting also.
I am not sure where all this is at. But I remember quotes from a while back. I remember management asking to double shares outstanding to get ready for upcoming event financing, everyone said lets go for it, when I said no not yet I got hammered. If we launch and sell and need money, then I say it was a good move, until then, the share price seems to go nowhere good.
I dont know, I do know many structural changes are happening to this company, without understanding the reasons behind all of them, it is hard to determine anything right now. I am on guard because many changes happening, share price on a continous downtrend, institutions are not exactly flowing in while pink and SEC looming. I can only say if it gets past your pain threshold then unload or minimize, I am ready to do either. I am still fairly confident changes will overcome poor past practice, stay tuned.
penny, I am sitting on the internet today. others see alot of posters here as pumpers, but it is always the bashers that dont own the stock calling investors that speak for the company that they own a pumper. I admit, there is mostly review going on, nothing new on a weekend. I admit that I should be doing other things today instead of expressing myself here. I admit that I do not support this company 100% on all they did or currently do. but I will also state, which you understand as well, that the bashers abound here, and they fit the definition perfectly. on and on with no life but to point fingers at everyone else. I would love to know what they do for a living, if they do anything.
I also admit the company is putting effort in for the sake of shareholders, but I am starting to wonder if all these problems can be overcome without huge events to overshadow the past.
poke, I would love to see him redeem himself in Mexico, with the strat, and other future ventures. I think he is very capable and will help this company tremendously in his current role. I am not sure how much he will get involved with sanswire projects other than WiMAX and superhub integration but that remains to be seen.
we knew this
(a)
GlobeTel failed to make timely, accurate and complete disclosure of material corporate developments and engaged in a pattern of issuing materially misleading and overly promotional public disclosures that overstated the importance of seemingly positive corporate developments and failed to disclose and/or understated the importance of adverse corporate developments. On the basis thereof, the Company violated the disclosure obligations imposed on listed companies pursuant to Part 4 (including Sections 401, 402 and 403), and made it subject to delisting pursuant to Sections 1003(d) and 1003(f)(iii).
I think this activity happens, other companies hide it better
(b)
GlobeTel failed to file required reports and other documents with the Exchange and the SEC and filed incomplete, misleading and/or inaccurate information in its SEC filings, in violation of applicable SEC requirements and Sections 134 and 1101 of the Company Guide. Specifically, GlobeTel failed to (i) file SEC Forms 8-K with audited financial statements in connection with certain acquisitions as required by applicable SEC rules; (ii) include information required by applicable SEC proxy disclosure rules with respect to a shareholder known by the Company to be the beneficial owner of more than five percent of its voting securities in its 2005 and 2006 proxy statements; (iii) failed to file Forms 8-K with respect to corporate developments and the appointment of a corporate officer; and (iv) filed inaccurate, misleading and/or internally inconsistent SEC reports regarding the status of corporate officers.
this wont happen again
(c)
GlobeTel failed to subject an acquisition, which the Company determined was a related party transaction, to appropriate review and oversight by the Company’s audit committee, as required by Section 120 of the Amex Company Guide.
what? sounds like SEC mumbojumbo
(d)
GlobeTel associated with, and continued its association with, two individuals with a history of regulatory misconduct rising to the level of a public interest concern. In one case, the association included entrusting the individual with important corporate functions, despite the fact that the nature of his regulatory misconduct rendered him particularly unfit for such responsibilities. On the basis thereof, the Company became subject to delisting pursuant to Sections 127 and 1003(f)(iii) of the Company Guide.
sloppy activity, I can see why they did not petition
(e)
GlobeTel, despite repeated requests, failed to provide information reasonably requested by the Exchange Listing Qualifications Department Staff (the “Staff”), and provided incomplete, non-timely and/or inaccurate information, in violation of Section 132(e) of the Company Guide. Specifically, GlobeTel failed to provide minutes of all board and audit committee meetings, accurate and complete information regarding corporate consultants, documentation related to additional listing applications and other information regarding material corporate matters.
sounds like they did not have it and made it up at last minute
(f)
GlobeTel provided materially false and misleading information and statements to the Staff, as set forth in paragraph 2(e), hindering its investigation into the Company’s compliance with applicable continued listing standards, in violation of Section 132(e), and making it subject to delisting pursuant to Section 1003(f)(iii), of the Company Guide.
SEC wants it yesterday from them, but others, who knows delays allowed
(g)
GlobeTel failed to notify the Exchange promptly of changes in its officers or directors, in violation of Section 921 and Part 4 of the Company Guide. In one instance, the Company failed to provide timely disclosure to the Amex when it appointed the individual described in paragraph 2(d) as a corporate officer. This change was also not reported on SEC Form 8-K pursuant to Item 5.02 of that form in violation of SEC requirements and Sections 134 and 1101 of the Company Guide.
I really dont want anymore news, seems anything happens here drags the price down even more. its all smoke and mirrors until real, good, Germany/Mexico or strat news comes out.
I hope for the companies sake that most future investors have some form of denial complex, cause thats what it might take for anyone to put trust and faith into this company enough to want to buy. many things now going through my mind, where were all of these current people, new appointees and current board members while these problems were all building up. i can see why the price is so far down and institutions are leaving. its gonna take a lotta love. they cant even seem to get through this SEC thing, the more new people they add the longer it will take.
good point, but it means that he found real problems from my point of view, dont make this company any better off. before new management it was promises missed that was the problem, with new management, its more than promises were at issue, they are making many changes for many reasons. one is to increase shareholder value, I wont hold my breath because price is still heading south.
per latest filing, I have my doubts about what this new managment is trying to accomplish. delay's are NOT a confidence builder, never under any circumstances are they good for anything. I do not understand a delay when they have been under investigation for quite a while now, someone is not doing what they should to get throught this. in the time beying, stock price dwindles and shareholder confidence in company gets no better. I now have doubts about euro situation.
thanks, I think. does anyone have the registration number on the side of the plane, it could be for anything or anyone, lets get real about it. there are thousands of planes and one sitting by a hanger at an airport is not much of an indicator of anything accept someone parked it there recently. registration can lead through owner to operator.
I did not write it, I found it on a web site, I make no claim to it other than it not only makes sense it fits 99% of the characters that frequent negative remarks towards companies.
the season for you know who people are coming back. here are some tips on how to identify them.
Lesson 1: Remember, BASHERS NEVER Bash A BAD STOCK. Check the boards for stocks with no potential. They never have any Bashers. Bashers only go after stocks that are moving up or have excellent potential to do so. Bashers work to bring the price down to either increase their position at the expense of others or help a Short make their bones.
Lesson 2: BASHERS ALWAYS BRING UP OLD NEWS THAT YOU HAVE HEARD MANY TIMES. New startup companies always have a few bits of bad news. The Basher will post this over and over again. Unsophisticated Bashers will try to freshen up old news with a new date or by-line in an attempt to fool you.
Lesson 3: BASHERS POST MANY TIMES A DAY. They try to wear you out. They comment on everything, every other post, and can answer every question. THEY KNOW IT ALL! There is no positive comment they won't Bash. They try to control the board. True longs may have to confront the Bashers or they will appear to the newbies as being the people with all the information. This is best accomplished by posting positive, well researched data on the company, repetitively, while trying hard not to engage the Bashers in direct repartee. REMEMBER - LONGS... RESIST USING THE BASHERS ALIAS!
Lesson 4: BASHERS WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE. Never trust a Basher. The truth on startup companies is that they make mistakes. What new company hasn't? The Basher will compare your issue to a another companies, financials - deals - management, etc., trying to lure you into making an Apples to Oranges comparison. Remember each company is unique and while it is prudent to seek out established indicators, do so with care and don't take someone else's word for it. Strive to come up with at least a "six-pack" of indicators so your vision of the state of a company is not tied to a single barometer. Not doing so is tantamount to going to a Race Track and betting on the "Pretty Brown Horsey". BASHERS WANT TO WHISPER IN YOUR EAR - PLANT A SEED OF DOUBT, AND HOPE THAT YOU ARE NOT SAVVY ENOUGH TO RESEARCH THE TRUTH ON YOUR OWN. This is how they achieve their greatest success.
DOUBT + FEAR + LAZINESS = BAIL OUT!
JimP, there are questions that need to be answered, yours included. I have to ask, why would someone file 3 days after they are no longer in power, and no longer have the authority to do this. even if he did, how could a insolvency lawyer find it legal for this action to take place and not be easily dismissed under these pretenses. I feel I know the logical answer, but I need to hear the legal one from management. I have not followed the threads, did anyone email the company for clearification.
I dont think that is the only way to look at it, matter of fact, I would be more inclined to look at it from the SEC perspective, CFO many times is the one ultimately responsible for bad book keeping, with changes you may see SEC wrap up soon.
right on que the bashers twist the facts, FYI, my guess for next Q is revenue doubles again. wait and see.
look who is an affiliate now, funny how they come around

Why would anyone wanna invest in comparison shopping over the internet when comparison shopping over the telephone is about to get launched? These guys have a deal with Froogle.com and ShopZilla.com to provide the nations first comparison shopping service over the telephone with
1-877-YELLOWPAGES.
www TollFreeYellowPages com
i personally own shares in this company so i have an incentive in telling you about it, however, common sense tells me that if you can get the same data over the telephone for free while your inside the store using a toll free number is more valuable and efficient than going home and doing everything online. Internet is great, but the next generation is over the phone. Its faster, more convinient, easier, and simply to use.
You think standing in a store like a moron trying to take a picture of a bar code with your cell phone then waiting minutes to get a response using your slow cell phone internet is a great idea? Maybe, but is it efficient? I think not. Id rather pull out my cell, call an 800# and get immediate service over the telephone free of charge.
squirt, maybe you should try and contact Sigwald Leder for us, let me know and developments. thanks
they have a full plate in front indeed. they need to be reminded that we bought this stock because of these things you mention. they need to be addressed in a CC and shareholders meeting without a doubt. but I believe the majority lack of confidence in this stock is due to dragout delays of strat. lets get it on.
again, waiting for events to occur at altitude, hoping for the best. its what will get this stock cranking again.
there is a ton of info out there, general in nature, but can be tied to Globetel in many ways with the right phone calls.

I'm still waiting for the store to open.
www.globetelstore.com/
I wonder if they are waiting for certain material events.
