The inference here is that GTE was duped by the Russians even though they had "binding agreements". Same thing happens with LOC's. You can have an LOC's and get screwed also.

It seems to me the Mexican family associated with this deal have their reputations to consider unlike the elusive Russian "oil barons".

Seems to me it would be nice to see that what was in the container was indeed what you ordered, (LOC. ILOC proof of delivery is for the container only as shown on the manifest.
I've been there done that and many LOC's - ILOC's are worthless as they do not allow for inspection of the goods before payment is made. I have seen payments made once the container hits the dock even though it expressly states payment after purchaser has examined goods.
Sueing gets one nowhere.

Also, for the "photovoltaic panels should be on top of the flat surface of the old design" crowd; the sun rises and sets with very little distortion or loss of effectiveness from the low angles at 65k feet, panels on the sides will be generating electricity where on the old design the electrical generation is mostly mid day.

The cash cow thing hasn't happened yet to Sirius, it will, and the ceo Mel K. has already stated buy backs are going to happen. Long term shareholders are going to be ecstatic.

One can only hope at this point with GTEM that whoever is going to guide this company does so with the goal to realize it's massive potential with or without the strat. (I believe the strat will be viable). I have always told myself and friends that Sirius was an eventuality, Globetel was an unknown with unlimited potential.

with a ceo that has a track record of taking million $ broadcast companies and turning them into multi billion $ co's in a fairly short period of time. I believe Sirius is on the verge of becoming a mega cash cow. Losses will soon be a thing of the past.

It is my hope that GTEM can follow a similar pattern of growth with losses being trimmed and the crossover into cash cow status. I think Caterham sees this as well.
