HESG closed at .0002 on 3/2/12. That can be verified by checking out the chart. My 19 million sold at .0002 on 3/5/12.
Half a billion!
Wow! Up over 30% today. That means I'm only down 81% on my original investment.
Yes, Somatics continues to have training sessions. The company is not dead, and the stock remains "alive" on the gray market with a few trades now and then. But of course Somatic Systems, Inc. continues to have a "revoked" status with the Nevada Secretary of State - a status that would now require $33,900.00 to undo. And despite repeated promises to me via e-mail (which I posted here) to update the website, Steven Aronstein has not removed or updated the defunct addresses on the website for the company's headquarters in Northampton, Mass., nor the office in New York City. So while I can't rule out good things happening in the future, I'm not expecting anything. It's up to Steve, and I see no evidence that he cares about this stock at all.
Nor am I.
I'd be happy to see her lose her Senate seat, but it seems to me that they are already making money on this company. It just doesn't translate into the investors making money on this stock. Of course her husband apparently owes money.

It's pretty underwhelming, but not unheard of. Today is the seventh day with SMAS volume so far this year.
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=historical&symbol=SMAS
Underwhelming.
I have not been able to find any verification of the information you presented related to an "eviction" of Somatics from the original Northampton address. Somatics has vacated the original address, but I haven't seen evidence that it was "evicted". You describe this as "easily verified". Again, would you please provide documentation that Somatics was "evicted". Thank you.
Please provide proof they were "evicted". Thanks.
Shining a light on the Walters, their company and it's languishing stock is probably not what the Walters wanted during an election year. Well, too bad!
Thank you for posting that.

Core Somatic Exercises:
Essential movements for every body
Saturday, June 23, 2012
1:00 - 3:00 PM
Two-hour New York City Workshop
@ Movements Afoot, 49 W 27th Street, New York City
workshop
This two-hour workshop for every body will provide an brief yet in-depth "training" in some of the most essential exercises for reshaping and realigning any body's core functionality, for maximum flexibility and pain relief for any fitness level.
These exercises apply to...
chronic pain sufferers,
desk workers with work-related injuries,
couch potatoes looking for greater comfort,
movement and fitness professional including pilates instructors,
yoga teachers, and personal trainers,
and athletes looking to avoid or reverse performance and flexibility losses.
We'll explore the benefits and gains that come not just from a stronger core, but a "smarter" core.
Our focus will be primarily on the muscles of the trunk -- the abdomen, back, hips, shoulders and chest. We'll also show you how all these muscles work together to cause or solve many problems you might also be experiencing in the rest of your body -- feet, knees, hands, wrists, elbows, neck, and jaw.
This class is meant for all audiences...
Attendees new to Somatics will get a foundational introduction to the most important Somatics exercises you can do for immediate, long-term, and life-long results.
For those locals who've attended Somatics classes before and are familiar with the basics, this class will still provide a wealth of information and detail on critical elements for optimal benefits -- and for applying and using Somatics to improve all your other movement practices, from yoga and pilates to working out at the gym or just daily life.
These are the "desert island" Somatics moves that everyone needs to do. After this workshop, you'll be able to do them, quickly every day or any time you want, to take care of yourself the rest of your life.

After the Workshop...
Free Open House:
How Does Somatics Work, and Why Should I Care?
A presentation for all audiences
and
an informational session
about Somatics Professional Training
This free informal session will provide more information on the basic physiology of our muscles and central nervous system that make us all suffer needlessly from chronic pain, injuries, aches, and the seemingly inevitable losses of aging. You'll quickly learn how this can all be reversed or avoided easily and naturally using the same nervous system that caused it in the first place!
This discussion and presentation is coordinated with the movement class to increase your benefits and help you maintain them on your own over time as you go back to your regular life and practices.
This open house is also meant to provide information about the upcoming first ever New York City Somatics Professional Training Program (first classes start September 15).
Anyone considering training or otherwise interested in Somatics professionally should attend this Open House.
The Open House will be informal, and you can visit for as long or as short as you'd like. We recommend most people come for at least the first 30 minutes, as we'll be offering an important presentation then that will both help people who attended the movement class, and give an important overview for prospective trainees.
Plus, there will be free refreshments, and who knows how long those will last!
A Don't Miss opportunity for anyone who's ever been curious about Somatics or just about staying healthy, fit, and pain-free.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Clinical Somatics is the groundbreaking method of neuromuscular retraining from Thomas Hanna for pain-relief, injury treatment and prevention, flexibility, postural alignment, and enhanced movement performance. Somatics uses biologically intrinsic gentle, easy movements that rapidly unlock our innate self-correcting and -healing abilities to relieve or eliminate conditions of mis-use, trauma, degeneration, and "aging" that were historically considered incurable.

At last an address in New York City.
http://somatics.org/events/members/laura.gates/2870
On Monday, May 14th a Somatics training workshop series will commence at Movements Afoot, 49 West 27th St., New York, NY.
This is found in the "Events" section of the Somatic Systems website. However under "Locations" the site has not been updated as Steven Aronstein said it would be. It still lists the outdated information for the New York and Northampton, Mass addresses.
Sorry to disappoint, but the "very direct stream of information" that you describe me as having from this company consists of nothing more than the few recent replies to my e-mails that I received from Steve Aronstein, all of which I posted here. That's it. My previous e-mails had all been ignored. So if you have evidence to support your contention that Somatics System was evicted from the Northampton headquarters for failure to pay rent, or evidence of judgments against Somatics Systems in Massachusetts, now would be a good time to share it.
Thanks, Somaticstracker. That is very interesting. If you have any links to the pertinent information on the Hampshire County Superior Court site, or to judgements against the company, could you please post them. Thank you.
That certainly doesn't sound good. I appreciate you reporting on all this. Supposedly there is to be a new office, both in Mass and NY. We shall see.
I received a reply to my questions about the office closure from Steven Aronstein. He said the Northampton, Mass office is relocating to a better location. (Those who follow this board may remember conversations with a former member about the location of the Northampton office, and how the front of the building was recessed from the street.) Mr. Aronstein wrote, "the 'office' hasn't closed in the operational sense. We're still very much in business overtime as usual. We just don't have a public clinic/retail space right now. Clients are being seen in several temporarily rented locations and office work is also being done in temporary facilities. All online services are functional as usual -- which is really the most important thing right now as we work to promote our NY training and try to make it the biggest and best one so far." He said that it had been his intention to wait until the move was complete, and then make a formal announcement in an e-mail and/or news release.
Investors are as always free to contact Steven Aronstein through the website or at this e-mail address:
investorrelations@somatics.org
Thanks for that info, 90webber. I'm looking into it and will get back to you.
We touched .0002 today, so I don't immediately suspect dilution. But i don't know.
Holy Cow! (Was going to make a reference to something that comes out of a cow, but thought better of it.) This was certainly unexpected. This is the most volume since February of last year.
I think you're right.
Politics and penny stocks. What a combo!
I wonder how much Senator Mimi Walters' reelection bid this year might influence her husband's company. And she is a MSTF shareholder herself, is she not? I would think she wouldn't want it known that her husband owns a company whose stock doesn't report.
I had sent several messages to Steven Aronstein on the website. The e-mail address he used to respond to my message was training@somatics.org.
If you go to the following link at the Somatic Systems website you'll see the old New York location listed with a zip code, phone number and a description of the location in New York's Tribeca district.
http://somatics.org/locations/ny-tribeca
Then if you click on "Directions" you are taken to a page that says, "Our New York office is located at 89 Franklin Street, in Tribeca, between Broadway and Church Street."
http://somatics.org/locations/ny-tribeca/directions
Steve Aronstein said the above will be corrected this week.
The website is a bit of a labyrinth. Going to somatics.org and then clicking on "Locations" brings you to the page with the old information. There are other ways to get to that page as well.
But going to somatics.org and then clicking on "Training" and then clicking on "Campuses" brings you to a recently updated page that lists the new Manhattan Campus without giving an address.
http://somatics.org/training/campus
Then clicking on "New York, New York" brings you to a page with some general information about the New York campus, but again no address.
http://somatics.org/training/campus/newyork
Steve Aronstein has said that the New York location had changed, and is changing again, which would explain why the address of the new location is not specified. In his e-mail he said that the appearance of the old address on some of the pages is an oversight which he will correct this week.
Possibly nothing. Or possibly trading again one day. It does happen with gray sheet stock on rare occasions. My hope is that the company will strengthen and steps will be taken to get a market maker to provide a market for this stock again. I suppose it is also possible that this stock could one day be involved in a reverse merger. On the other hand the company could go out of business, or the stock could be delisted. But it has been over two years since going on the gray market, and the company continues to function. There are stocks out there that are trading despite having no functioning company at all. I'd like to see this one do better. We all deserve that.
You're welcome. It is going to take a lot more than the opening of a new location in New York and its training classes to get this stock off the gray market. But I welcome the recent news and see it as a step in the right direction for the company.
That would be a good question to ask him.
http://somatics.org/contact
As we know, Somatic Systems recently sent out an e-mail notifying readers about the opening of a new Somatics campus in New York City for the Clinical Somatic Education Professional Training Program. The notification did not specify the New York address of the clinic. As I previously posted, in searching for the location of the clinic I found several old pages on the Somatics.org website that referenced a Somatic clinic at 89 Franklin Street, NY. However when I researched that address and contacted the present occupant I was told that Somatics had not been associated with that address for more than five years. So I then e-mailed Somatics CEO Steven Aronstein, who has responded and given me permission to post his responses. I know this will likely open a whole new wave of controversy on this board, but I'd like to share the information. Just to note, I had been aware that the 12/17/09 SEC suspension of SMAS trading was a ten-day suspension only, but I didn't make that clear in my post to Mr. Aronstein.

Somatics.org recently sent out an e-mail advertisement concerning the upcoming training sessions in New York in September. Going to the Somatics.org website in search of the location of these training sessions one discovers some outdated information. Several pages on the website refer to the now-defunct Somatics clinic at 89 Franklin Street in New York. Currently at that location is "Peter Anthony Fitness". Its President, Mr. Peter Anthony Hionas recently confirmed that Somatic Systems has not been at that location for more than five years. 89 Franklin is the only address listed anywhere on the Somatic.org website for Somatic System's New York clinic. The newly posted announcements about the upcoming training do not specify the location except as New York, but anyone making a casual search of the website would find the New York location listed as 89 Franklin Street. I thought you might want to correct this misinformation. This discrepancy is currently being discussed by investors at the IHub website.

I apologize for the confusion. That is the old page for our New York location. Since then, we moved to a different location in Midtown, and now are in the process of moving again. The Franklin St location should be replaced with a different location page. We have done some website updates and perhaps this older page was inadvertently re-published. I appreciate you letting us know about this.
>
The New York location is a clinical facility. It is not a "training-sized" location like our Northampton, MA location has been. Our training is located at a separate facility, in the Chelsea neighborhood. This is an optimal location, as the Chelsea neighborhood is in the heart of Manhattan's fitness, movement, and wellness culture and business; but it is right near Penn Station, the hub of everything coming in to the city. The makes it easy not only for Manhattanites to get there by any subway, but also residents from the other boroughs and the suburbs; and for people to travel from out of town from all over the east coast and beyond (there are people interested in training whose schedule makes traveling up to the more rural area of Northampton less appealing or prohibitive; but they are comfortable "jetting" into NY).
>
Again, I'm sorry for the confusion, and thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will make sure to correct this page about our NY clinic on our website this week as soon as possible (note that the phone number is still the same as is currently published on our site). And, again, the training will not be held at our clinic.

Please let me know if you have any further questions about this.

Thank you so much for the reply. I should let you know that I am an investor, and am currently the moderator of the SMAS board on IHub. As such I hope for the best for you and for Somatic Systems. It is sad that SMAS went onto the gray market several years ago, and I well remember the controversy involving the bogus PR that xxxxxxxxxx posted, and which I assume provoked the suspension. I remember that you were almost immediately quoted as saying that the PR was false, but unfortunately within a week SMAS was suspended. I am of course concerned that SMAS now risks being delisted as an increasing number of inactive gray market former pink sheet stocks have been recently. My hope is for the best for you, Somatic Systems, and for its investors.

`````,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, you may post that reply on iHub; you may also post this one as well (and I appreciate you asking about each one). I appreciate that you moderate the board there -- that can't be a very glamourous job at this point in the company's trading history.
I share your feelings about our trading status. Your recollection about the bogus PR and the suspension is more or less correct. It's important to remember that the *only* action that was taken was a 10-day suspension of the ability to trade our shares. The suspension was a temporary, precautionary measure, not an indictment or a penalty. There were no additional issues, charges, or problems, we were never pursued in any way, and we were never "in trouble". And in the three years (!) since then, no further actions have been taken, because nothing was merited.
Unfortunately, like any other Pink Sheet stock, we are subject to the "piggyback qualification" rule -- meaning that the way trading actually works is that any given stock is only allowed to trade on any given day because it traded sometime in the previous 4 days. When the SEC halts trading for 10 days -- even though that is ALL they did to us -- it effectively knocks a stock out of its piggyback qualification status, so it is no longer qualified to be easily and freely traded by market makers without them going through a pile of paperwork.
The only reason the skull and crossbones was placed on the stock was because of the 10-day halt; the only reason it remains on there is because there are no market makers on there (you can call Pink Sheets to confirm this); and the only reason the company would be considered on the gray market is because it has no market makers on it. There are no other issues, reasons, sanctions, or hidden negatives behind this. And we do not expect the stock to be delisted.
I appreciate your kind and supportive thoughts on this matter.
Thank you,
Steve Aronstein
Yes, there has been activity with the company, and with the website, and even with the stock, which somehow seems to go on existing on the gray sheets without being delisted. Bram Stoker would have called it Nosferatu - "not dead".
So I wonder when they plan to update the website with the location of the new clinic in New York.
http://somatics.org/news/stories/2012/03/15/SSI-somatics-professional-training-new-york-city
Apparently it was true five years ago, but they never took the information off the website once they no longer were associated with that NY address, which I believe constitutes false advertising. Not good. The website is somewhat of a labyrinth.
Just got a reply from Peter Anthony Fitness at 89 Franklin Street, and he said that Somatic Systems has not been active at that location for over five years. However the Somatic System Inc. website still lists that address on some of its pages. Not good. I've removed that location from the IBox.
http://somatics.org/locations/ny-tribeca/directions
It may have been an old link that they failed to delete. Currently the website lists only two locations:
http://somatics.org/locations
So, the New York training that they are advertizing for September 2012 will apparently not be at that location. The website doesn't specify where.
True. Better than nothing.
No, look again. The sign at 89 Franklin is "Peter Anthony Fitness". And it looks like a decent facility.
http://www.yelp.com/biz/peter-anthony-fitness-inc-new-york
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Peter-Anthony-Fitness/203432483004132?sk=photos
Perhaps Somatics uses that facility, or has another facility in the same building.
Take a closer look at the photo and you'll see that the "Personal Training Studio" you mentioned is at 87 Franklin, not 89.
I got that e-mail too, Jahiles18. I'm guessing that this training will take place at Somatic System's Tribeca district office located at 89 Franklin St. in Manhattan.
http://somatics.org/locations/ny-tribeca
http://somatics.org/locations/ny-tribeca/directions
In the past they didn't list this office as a training center. The NY office used to specify, "Visit us for group somatics exercise and fitness classes, one-on-one clinical sessions, and our retail mini-store for self-help products." A search of the website today didn't turn up exactly where this "brand new campus" is located. Instead they say, "Contact us for more information." So my guess is that they are now additionally offering training at the original New York office, and calling it a "brand new campus". Technically I suppose you can call it a new training campus since it didn't used to offer training. But perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps there is a new location.
I did note that tuition for the first semester is $6,425.00.
http://somatics.org/sites/default/files/CSE_App_2012-2014_SCHEDULE.pdf
Today's is the highest volume since August 2010.
I sold 2's on 3/5/12 as I mentioned earlier.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=73028764
I certainly wouldn't mind.
