sts; great story..... For the longest time, me and my four brothers were forbidden by my Dad to play football. We couldn't understand why not? We loved playing it anywhere anytime. He did allow us to wrestle and go out for track. Stories like this only reminds me the wisdom of my dad. Sports particularly football should be banned altogether. Too many injuries and for what? For our love of the game? BS, it's no game when players target other players.
nuff said, good story though about EPA... have a good one.

So much for Amarin crashing...... have a great Thanksgiving.
You can sure tell where Amarin's PPS base price is today.... AMRN Hit a low of 3.26, those shares were snatched up like they were pork rinds at a marijuana parlor, a Hobo on a hot dog?.... darn missed it...
:D)
KEEK is putting on quite a show. I thought it was consolidating, but it's not. Boom, back to 1.65 (Bid) x 1.66 (Ask), last price 1.6593 @ 11:30 MST, 130K shares traded.
Even calm women can have ulterior motives. It's all about delivery and perception..... :D)
First post on KEEK Board, held KEEK in my Account, didn't notice it much untia about two weeks agao when it hit .58 cents. Only had 50 shares from reverse split from previous ticker "Petroleum,,,,,?" Forget about that....
Since I've been buying as much KEEKF as reasonable, been very intrigued with the heavier than normal volume and escalating stock price. Avg. share price = 1.02
Nice to have a winner for a change. Thanks to BANX and CFA as they see the potential of this stock. Never ventured into Social Media before, still don't have a FB, SC Twitter etc account, but if there's money to be made it's through the younger generation. Never realized that Social Media could be anything but a social website. e-commerce is a big deal. Other than groceries and gas, I would guess that e-commerce comprises about 20% of my purchases generally speaking. Venture to guess let's say an average transaction in $USD of about $50 per month and I'm a conservative shopper. I can see where this PEEKS model is going. Why post videos on Youtube when you can make a little bit of coin by posting on PEEKS? Especially for Do it your selfers? Only a matter of time folks before this concept takes over. I'm of the older generation, before color TV, before Cable, before Sputnik.....
Don't know, I do miss her though. Very enlightened. She's the one that did a lot of DD and believed that EPA could/would be eventually derived from algae.
Hi Bill, I agree with your tactic, keep the FDA busy with litigation. I don't trust the FDA in dealing fairly with Amarin. Even when Reduce-It shows efficacy.
Thanks for all your diligence and hard work, even though your a lone voice in a hostile environment.

And your point is????? I Couldn't think of anyone better as a moderator, except for HD i suppose.
I knew I'd screw it up. Make that Tuesday, April 4th, the 2nd is a Sunday.
HD. Put me down for April 2, (2nd interim) announcement, June 23rd stop, 25% efficacy
Thanks Nuke
jfmcrr, you forgot to include Diabetes and Alzheimers
Perhaps the news about the smaller size capsules (500mg), plus the run-up to earnings. Now children can take Vascepa easily. Remember Cod Liver oil, how about Geritol? My mother used to make us take a spoonful every now and then. Just sayin'
Nice touch JL; but Mariah Carey as a spokeswomen for Vascepa? Much better choice than Rick Harrison IMHO

Is that when we get our Happy Meal with a Hillary Clinton Action figure?
"not to wisdom, intelligence or strength of character" and this isn't taken out of context doc.
Tenacity is justified only to noble causes? WTF? How about victims of domestic abuse? Racial prejudice? How would you categorize that? How does this fit into your cookbook?
I think BioBill has every right to pursue this endeavor regardless of what others think about whether or not it's in everyone's best interest.
I don't know maybe I came late to this party..... ?
Thanks..... you and HD make up?
Hi Biobill; I saw page A-21, so, the Exclusity Expiration Date of July 2017 is meaningless? Based on previous discussions? Don't we have an additional 30 month extension?
I second that..... as a matter of fact drink a six pack, don't stay mad, life's too short for that.
Whatever helps you get through it, do it...
Hi irc203; $150 million in sales would be really cool.....;
Based on the 2nd Qtr report dated August 4, 2016;
Amarin reported cash and cash equivalents of $72.5 million at June 30, 2016. Net cash used in operating activities in the quarter ended June 30, 2016 of $9.0 million decreased compared to $25.6 million in the corresponding quarter of 2015 as a result of increased collections due to higher revenues, which resulted in decreased net loss. As of June 30, 2016, the company had $17.6 million in net accounts receivable ($21.5 million in gross accounts receivable before allowances and reserves) and $20.3 million in inventory.
As of June 30, 2016, Amarin had approximately 184.6 million American Depository Shares (ADSs) and ordinary shares outstanding, 32.8 million common share equivalents of Series A Convertible Preferred Shares outstanding and approximately 20.6 million equivalent shares underlying stock options at a weighted-average exercise price of $3.42, as well as 10.4 million equivalent shares underlying restricted or deferred stock units.
This was of course before the Stock subscription and subsequent padding of the cash coffers. If Thero can maintain the cash burn @ $9 million per quarter that would seal the deal. At $150 million sales wouldn't we be awfully close to being cash flow positive?
Hi sts; I was kidding about the stress test. Never had one myself. Probably overdue. I'm becoming well aware of staying hydrated. Probably my biggest problem here in AZ. I try to drink water a lot more than usual. Haven't had a light headed spell for sometime. After my daughters last episode, she's now aware of this herself.
So, what's your take on today's events?
BTW, thanks for sharing

Now, that makes perfect sense..... a psychology major (Phd) working in the construction field. I'll bet you're a terrific negotiator?
So, I have a history as do my kids for hypotension, fainting etc. I've always ignored it and thought it may be related to diet, hydration and sleep.
So is low blood pressure a bad thing? my normal BP is around 122/76, I'm 64. My daughter (16 years old) had a fainting spell and I basically ignored it the other day when she fainted at home.
When I have gone in to Urgent care they've done an EKG with no adverse results. Maybe a stress test on little sleep and no eating prior to may be in order? That way if I get a stroke on the treadmill, they'll hit me with the paddles. No need to respond today Kiwi, I know you're in jail. Wish I had a "Get out of jail free" card......

dmlcento; Good point, not that Amarin would have such a conversation with DMC, as the DMC would be tipping their hands so to speak.
(IMHO), conjecture, if the study were stopped now, wouldn't Amarin have to design another study for T2D later as the cat is out of the bag for original Reduce-It? Vewwy interesting, this is all beginning to become vewwy clear to me now.
Artie Johnson
Thanks Bill
Thanks Jesse;
Screw the Patriots, the Cardinals played terrible at home. Only decent player was Fitzgerald.
Now unto something near and dear, Amarin stoppage @ 80%. Now why in heck would DMC recommend stoppage @ 80% when they didn't stop @ 60%? I think someone called it right, there weren't enough deaths attributed to the Placebo arm right? is my guess. It's a shame really that Government Agencies have this much control over a benign drug like Vascepa.
BioBill; your math seems off or is this fuzzy math? 967/1612 = 60%? What am I missing?
Regards,
Nuke
Brought to you by the Jim "Bobblehead" Cramer...... Have to agree with you BioBill, why else would the FDA want an 80% look see? IMHO no stop @ 60%.
Have a great weekend everyone, I'll pray for you shorts.... he, he.....
Let me think......? Maybe because the Dow was down almost 400 pts. Keep yer panties on..... now, why in hades would DMC be holding a private meeting with JT today? Jeezus....
http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/markets/2016/09/09/stocks-dow-friday/90114650/
Yes, thanks Dancing, I can visualize that far. However, I'd rather have a bird in hand than two in the bush...... no wait let me rephrase that..... no shirt, no shoes, no deal......
Esperion (ESPR) has zero revenues, no approved products yet, Phase 3 for Beppo Acid. Yet their stock price is 10.37?
I just don't get it......? What am I missing?
Board banter is; Amarin should partner with or do a joint venture with them? Silver lining here is their one product does focus on folks that have an intolerance to Statins. There's plenty of us around who are intolerant to stains.
Thanks Sam, your information is always welcome. A sane voice in a cacophony of message board nonsense.
dml; it really depends upon Thero's ability to contain costs. As we've all witnessed JT is a cost conscientious CEO. I'm sure the last thing he wants is to raise the price of Vascepa at it's infancy stage. Maybe in a few years when it becomes more established. Then again maybe not. V needs to become more affordable for all as it will drive sales.
YB; I see your point about Medivation (MDVN) being similar to Amarin. Although a Cancer Drug company. A watershed event occurred on Nov. 2, 2011. MDVN stock went from 4.30 to 11 the following day. MDVN revs in 2013 were about $243M annual, Amarin is quickly approaching $130. MDVN has (3) drugs, AMRN has one drug with the potential of many more.
Amarin's watershed event is coming soon...... MDVN has 96% Institutional ownership with many deals pending, they are in a bidding war. I'm not concerned with Amarin's longevity in the market, I'm just concerned with my own ability to keep my hand off the sell button. Based upon MDVN success which I can see the same in store for Amarin. I want to retire and do something else with my life, it will be very hard to hold on for 5 more years is my guess for Amarin to get to $120.
Thanks for posting that analogy
Nuke
You must be feeling quite lonely...... AMRN never hit 2.85 today, 2.85 isn't "low balling" anything. A few weeks ago most of us were cheering Amarin @ $2.85+
Very smart move by Mgt. based upon market reaction, their bases are covered now. Most all loose ends are covered. Amarin has sufficient funds now to make it to successful RI conclusion.
Give me your address and I'll send you a crying towel.
Bio; actually, I'm more interested in the TV commercials for Vascepa. Like; Studies have proven that...."Vascepa does not cause any known adverse reactions other than allergies to shellfish" period. Has refreshing ring to it.... :D)
Unlike other TV drugs ads....? They always say to stop taking whatever it is and go consult your doctor if you feel light headed, nauseious, constipated, have diarrhea etc, etc.
Since Vascepa can advertise truthful information, this will be a home run.
Hey isaeed; I got my first blood test about 3 years ago. I'll turn 65 in December. Different folks, different strokes (no pun intended). I can't tell you why our numbers are different with the age difference. I don't go to the gym. My gym is taking care of my animals, working 14 hrs a day, keeping busy. Seems I have 40 years worth of projects and only 10-20yrs to get them done. I don't consider myself a couch potato. I'd love tone able to take V if it was affordable. anything else is just a substitute. Take care.
"Why so negative Moriarty" a line from the movie "Kelly's Heroes". The banter between Donald Sutherland (Tank Commander) and his machinist mate named Moriarty.
Now we could be relaxing taking in some rays, drinking a fine bottle of wine......by this time tomorrow? Or not? If we don't, then oh well, but if we do...... Mayor, you'll be saving the lives of 8 million voters..... Dr. Vinkman
Hi Kiwi,
Why I was prescribed a Statin? Doctor recommended it, I had a 10% chance he said of having a CV event in the next ten years. So, he prescribed me Generic Lipitor, felt like crap being on minimum dose 10 mg, so I changed over to Livalo (Kowa), a friend at work was on Livalo and no pain. Paying full price $240 for 90 days. Feel better but after a while I get lazy and stop taking it. I feel like what's the use of putting poison in your body and paying for it????
No real history of heart disease, both parents lived until 91, mother had a heart valve replaced, father smoked 2 packs of Pall Malls per day for 20+ years.
Blood test from May 2016;
TG = 186 Goal <149
Cholesterol/HDL ratio = 3.9, <4.9
HDL Cholesterol = 48, >40
Non-HDL Cholesterol = 140, <159
LDL Cholesterol = 103, <129
VLDL Cholesterol = 37, <29
My TG are down from 2013, not as good though as when I was taking Vascepa. Had a low of 113 was up to 242 at one time prior to taking V.
Don't get me started about the games played by the medical community and the insurance companies, they're in bed together.
BioChica; I do believe he is lowballing it. 6 Million times $2500 per year for Vascepa = revs of approx. $15,360,000,000
You quoted;
"i always think that cro is the weakest link" is there a decoder ring around someplace?
