Proverbs 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son [in whom] he delighteth.
Reflection
Because of His unconditional and passionate love for His children, God disciples and instructs His children in His wisdom. Indeed, it is by His unchanging and constant adoration that we are made a new creation. By the gift of God's son and a repentant heart, the mercies of Christ enfold us and bring us to God's side. Just as a father adores his son, so our Heavenly Father delights in us!
lol!
Then i better put on my air Jesus's and be ready for the trumpet! =]

God has placed a lot of importance upon His words.
Matthew 24:35 reads, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my WORDS shall not pass away."
Psalms 138:2 says, ". . . for thou hast magnified thy WORD above all thy name."
Psalms 119:89 says, "For ever, O LORD, thy WORD is settled in heaven."
The spiritual life-blood of the human race is the word of God.
It brings salvation: "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God. . ." (1 Peter 1:23)
It produces faith: ". . . faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).
It produces spiritual growth: ". . .desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" (1 Peter 2:2)
Jesus Christ said in John 6:63, ". . .the words that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE."
And the first time Satan attacks the human race was a direct attack on the word of God!
Genesis 3:1 says, "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, YEA, HATH GOD SAID. . .?"
Satan planted a small seed of doubt into the mind of Eve. And as Eve questioned the truthfulness of God's Word - the fall of mankind was only a bite away.
Satan's aim of attack hasn't changed!
In Luke 8, Jesus Christ tells the parable of the sower, verses 11,12 read, "Now the parable is this: The SEED is the word of God. . . THEN COMETH THE DEVIL, and taketh away the word. . ."
Satan knows - if he can supplant even a small seed of doubt in God's word - MANKIND WILL LOOK ELSEWHERE!

God's Plan of Salvation
The Bible says there is only one way to Heaven
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
Good works cannot save you.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Trust Jesus Christ today! Here's what you must do:
Admit you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)
Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
Jesus said: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5)
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" (Acts 17:30)
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
What to pray:
Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12)
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour, as a Christian you should:
Read your Bible every day to get to know Christ better.
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalms 119:105)
Talk to God in prayer every day.
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6)
Be baptized, worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is the final authority.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" (Matthew 28:19)
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25)
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timothy 3:16)
Tell others about Christ.
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
"For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" (1 Corinthians 9:16)
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)

Yep.
Hi cosmoworld7
Nice hearing from you.
I work all day, so just getting on here when I can. =]
-----------
There always seem to be 'gray areas' to the truth, this is evident even amoung different denominations who read from the same bible. Maybe its not so much of a gray area of the truth but the lack to total understanding by man.-qoute.
-----------
I believe that is a reasonable response partially as to why there are soo many differing denominations.
Jesus told us that He wills that we all come to the unity of faith. Not ecumicalism. But the FACT that there is:
1)One faith
2)One Lord
3)One baptism
4)One Word.
5)One way.
Actually the word declares that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth, and that we do not need a teacher. That is to say, in regards that the Holy Spirit is sufficient/and scripture to bring about the understanding of God and His will in our lives, at least our ETERNAL domain. (ROMANS 1:16,17)
The great thing about truth is that it can withstand all trials, and come out pure without any "gray areas" =]
Godbless.

Water or Money?
If you were offered a handful of $1,000 bills or a glass of cool water, which would you choose? The $1,000 bills, of course—anyone in his right mind would. However, if you were crawling through a desert, dying of thirst, and you were offered a glass of water or a handful of $1,000 bills, which would you take? The water, of course—anyone in his right mind would. That’s called “circumstantial priorities.” Your priorities change according to your circumstances. If there were a way to find everlasting life, would you want to know about it? The answer is “yes,” of course—anyone in his right mind would. What the Bible contains may surprise you.
The Scriptures speak of riches beyond our wildest dreams—the “riches” of everlasting life—and they are offered in the form of cool, clear water: “Let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Revelation 22:17). At the moment, you may not be interested in the offer, but on Judgment Day your circumstances will radically change. Then it will be too late.
Thanks,
Will do-cheers. Suggested reading, below:
(KJV)
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

ETERNITY
Feel free to grace the place, with your presence. =]
I am wanting to keep your board as you asked, AND I LOVE TO OPENLY TALK WITH OTHERS.
So this can be a proper forum to talk about controverial issues, or ones of interest. =]
I have it highlighted with your board (bible, and christian stock investors) as well.
I believe the more OPEN LINES OF FELLOWSHIP AND FUN AVALIABLE, WE CAN MAKE A SPECIAL IMPACT AROUND US.
A BROTHER IN CHRIST.
Praise the Lord. =]
Hi happydog,
You too Briboy.
Glad to see you some soldiers of the faith around.
I believe and know that the opportunities to talk to eachother about issues of the heart, our ETERNAL SOUL-matters.
Many people today do not take the time to consider their future.
Many people that do: Are rejected by those that look down on them for asking questions instead of mindlessly accepting the others point of view first.
I hope and pray that for those that have questions and/or those that simply appreciate the FACT that we are special, unique individuals who all have at least one purpose for living AT THIS PRECISE TIME IN HISTORY.
Be lights in darkening gloom.
Hi guys glad to see everyone posting today! =)
Hi excel.
I started up a board, will see if anyone goes on it or not? =]
ETERNITY. <<<<<<<THE NAME OF IT. Godbless!
For any questions, or comments that want to be left alone over here. Understandable. OPEN FORUM/DEBATE

Hi cosmoworld7,
Thanks for your ideas.
We do live in an incredible universe without a doubt.
Without life, life cannot continue.
Death is/appears to be one step of our existance.
The interesting thing that would go along with what you mentioned afor, would be that if a universe "could" be eternal, one who created such a thing would have to be eternal likewise.
So here we have a dilema.
Either,
1)God-created the universe, which would imply at one point in time, that the universe had a beginning.
2)The universe- and all that is within itself, caused man to derive, conclude that we are eternal without a creator.
God is the uncaused cause.
Understanding what awaits in ETERNITY is the #1 question...that is to say, for each person.
THE ANSWERS ARE AVAILABLE, FOR THOSE THAT SEEK TRUTH.
IS IT POSSIBLE
TO KNOW TRUTH?

TRUTH, CAN WE KNOW IT?

Amen.
Listening to it right now.
GOD BLESS .
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." -Luke 16:24
This is why Jesus died and rose again for us.
So we could have 4giveness and freedom in heaven with him.

In the mouth of 2 or more witnesses let everything be established.
The first phase of our discussion I'd like discuss what the Bible says about spreading the word? - excel.
What I don't want to get into right now is our own personal techniques, or one's we've been taught, or how the process in the church has changed over the years.
All of that will come later.
What I'd like to see us do first is see what God says, then we will relate it to what has happened in relationship to everything else over the years. -excel
========================================
*Spreading THE BIBLE through GOD'S WORD, below. =]
We must understand WHAT we are spreading first, to be fruitful.
King James Version (KJV) Psalm 119 (1-50)
Psa 119:1 ¶ ALEPH. Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Psa 119:2 Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.
Psa 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Psa 119:4 Thou hast commanded [us] to keep thy precepts diligently.
Psa 119:5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Psa 119:6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
Psa 119:7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Psa 119:8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Psa 119:9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed [thereto] according to thy word.
Psa 119:10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Psa 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psa 119:12 Blessed [art] thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
Psa 119:13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
Psa 119:14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all riches.
Psa 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
Psa 119:16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Psa 119:17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, [that] I may live, and keep thy word.
Psa 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Psa 119:19 I [am] a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
Psa 119:20 My soul breaketh for the longing [that it hath] unto thy judgments at all times.
Psa 119:21 Thou hast rebuked the proud [that are] cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Psa 119:22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Psa 119:23 Princes also did sit [and] speak against me: [but] thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Psa 119:24 Thy testimonies also [are] my delight [and] my counsellors.
Psa 119:25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
Psa 119:26 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
Psa 119:27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
Psa 119:28 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
Psa 119:29 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
Psa 119:30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid [before me].
Psa 119:31 I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
Psa 119:32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
Psa 119:33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it [unto] the end.
Psa 119:34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.
Psa 119:35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Psa 119:36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Psa 119:37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; [and] quicken thou me in thy way.
Psa 119:38 Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who [is devoted] to thy fear.
Psa 119:39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments [are] good.
Psa 119:40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
Psa 119:41 VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, [even] thy salvation, according to thy word.
Psa 119:42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
Psa 119:43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
Psa 119:44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
Psa 119:45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
Psa 119:46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
Psa 119:47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Psa 119:48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Psa 119:49 ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
Psa 119:50 This [is] my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me
Awrooooooooooof!
Hahahah,
Good to see you around as well Happy.
