We do live in an incredible universe without a doubt.
Without life, life cannot continue.
Death is/appears to be one step of our existance.
The interesting thing that would go along with what you mentioned afor, would be that if a universe "could" be eternal, one who created such a thing would have to be eternal likewise.
So here we have a dilema.
Either,
1)God-created the universe, which would imply at one point in time, that the universe had a beginning.
2)The universe- and all that is within itself, caused man to derive, conclude that we are eternal without a creator.
God is the uncaused cause.
Understanding what awaits in ETERNITY is the #1 question...that is to say, for each person.
THE ANSWERS ARE AVAILABLE, FOR THOSE THAT SEEK TRUTH.
It is a puzzling thing. The truth knocks on the door and you say, "Go away, I'm looking for the truth," and so it goes away. Puzzling.
