I would never label you as a Fudster. I think that you might be a cup half empty investor, LOL. I don't see anything wrong with being skeptical. I just think that you are putting too much into the knee jerk reaction of the market and thinking that this means that the market is interpreting the PR as being far away from TLD. I think it could also mean that the market is scared that this is an inevitable freight train and this is a last ditch effort to get the SP down and accumulate/cover in time to be prepared for the climb. I am sure that the MM's see how many of their customers are short (App. 15M shares) and see an opportunity for having shares on their books to make some profit when their short customers are having to cover. I am not saying that is what is actually going on, but could be one explanation for the down turn we saw this morning.
If you are trying to reason that a purposely vague statement tells you something definitive about the timing of the TLD, then you are both wrong.
I think that "coming months" is a purposely vague statement based on the fact that they are not in control of their timeline. I don't know if it is a journal article or FDA discussions that is the cause of this, but I think that if you deduct that this literally means that TLD is a couple of months in the future, you COULD be wrong. I think that they are ready to release and as soon as the third party they are waiting on is ready, they will release the TLD PR. That could be next week or next month. Obviously just my opinion.
So added a few again here in the high 1.50's. Not sure we will see this price range again, so FOMO got the best of me.
I got that too, but don't see any news under the company info.
Not sure about other brokerages, but TDA has yet to post the news from this morning. I think the MM's are taking advantage of that fact, as not everyone gets their news directly from PRNewswire.
Looks like a mini bear raid with lack of buying pressure. I think the price will recover later today.
This is not up to Merck. They would have bought NWBO long ago, if there would have been a willingness to sell. This is about LP and when she thinks selling is the right time.
So just some random information about the share price and volume today. I just spoke to a friend of mine who is a full time day trader. Him and a couple of buddies have recently added NWBO to their watch list. He told me that they were doing a lot of trading today, accounting for a decent part of the volume. They are almost out except for some late day buying in anticipation of it going up further this week. I asked him if they made money, as I had a hard time seeing that from the early larger up volume, compared to the lower down volume. He said that this morning they stopped buying around 1.70 and started selling, so they ended up with a small profit overall. He was baffled at the lack of buying interest and also equally baffled by the lack of sellers, considering the low buying pressure.
The major question is whether the day traders who bought on the way up and did not sell on the low volume move down are willing to go for round 2 to get the price back up so they have a chance to make some short term profits or if they are patient and think the SP will get up there without another buying spree
The move up was with higher volume than the move down. That shows me that people who bought the move up was not able to sell much on the way down. I think that will stabilize the SP for the next few hours.
I agree that a lot of today’s action is an influx of day trading, but that also will have an influence on selling volume. I think that we will see high 1.50’s for most of the day.
Based on?
Maybe some Stimulus check money is seeing it's way into the stock. My son and his friends got their this weekend.
Not sure why this is relevant information for anyone but you. Hope you end up with a profit.
I am sure that it has been a huge benefit to NWBO that LP's Toucan owns Advent. Her primary focus is on NWBO and their survival, not making money with Advent. NWBO is her legacy and her actions has proven that over time.
Which is why they had to sell Cognate.
I think the issue here is a lack of understanding the law and consequences for certain acts and statements.
A violation of a fiduciary responsibility is an illegal act.....
You don't think the quote below is insinuating that something illegal is going on? Arms length means according to generally accepted principals.
I think that scenario is clearly the favorite at this time. That doesn't mean one of the underdogs, like RA approval, can't put the nose in front and win........
Whomever is accumulating, they are extremely patient.
This below is from their website. If you add that they have officially moved their address to Sawston, it is not a far reach to deduct that Sawston is compliant.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

I know absolutely nothing about TA and I am fine with that. I do get a kick out of your posts. Keep it up. Great entertainment and makes the board more interesting.
That clause does not state anything about what happens to the shares in regard to the purchase of Cognate. It is a clause that spells out the effects an eventual liquidation of the shares will have on the purchase, both in terms of tax consequences and valuation. To use this paragraph in any way in making a claim that THIS is what happens to the shares and warrants is baseless.
Sometimes on the OTC, transactions are reported with a delay. Not saying that is the case, but it happens at times, like after market transactions, that are really from during the day, but the transaction recorded later.
I am also assuming that some of the smaller short positions are carefully watching this and if they think this pressure is due to a leak, they might be slowly covering their short position. I don't see this as an event that would jump the price drastically with shorts running for the hills yet. I don't think TLD is imminent (this week), so they will likely have some time to watch and see what is happening.
What is kind of interesting, looking at Level II is that it seems smaller buyers are jumping ahead and that the big buyer using CSTI are failing to accumulate shares, which could be someone trying to drive up the price without accumulating, but by adding buying pressure. I might be wrong, but it is interesting to watch and if this pressure stops, we could see some added selling.
Bala, my friend. I think people forget that it is not 4 countries, but US, Canada, UK AND ALL OF EU.
I think the slight uptick is associated with one or more buyers looking to accumulate shares. They are very patient, hence the low volume.
Haven't seen this kind of buying pressure for a while. Nice to see that we have buying interest. I jumped ahead of them and bought a little at 1.38 and 1.40.
Neither you nor I have been privy to those conversations. I have seen email correspondence from DI (assuming it was transcribed word for word, which I have little doubt it was) and there's been nothing revealed in those that are not public knowledge. People might add their own spin on things being told them without realizing it. BUT if DI have actually been telling people information not publicly known, I would agree 100% with your assessment.
Agree with those statements.
Yeah, as a small biotech, we are at their mercy. Need this to be done right. I don't mind waiting if that is their strategy.
Not touching CYDY, but good luck.
Another good reason for waiting with TLD announcement until all the ducks are lined up in a nice a pretty row.
I am following their lead and picked up a little today.
Looks like normal OTC manipulation is going on and the MM's (and their clients) trying to pick up some shares at mid 30's.
Your return and the appearance of so many of your friends, makes me sleep good at night.
The best investors are really good at doing nothing for an extended period of time.....
