what will be # of out-standing shares at the end of the week. Any proposals?
What are your target pps at GNTA
Coundown runs now: 24 min.
Fmrick might be right for normal financing conditions with this stock, BUT, noteholders can write off losses from tax AND noteholders made extraordinarily gains in the past. So they might do something different, which is also written down in the filings, but the effect for shareholders will be competely different than expected. But also be aware, that the "issue" then only moves to a later occasion. Nobody knows.... Place your bets. That's all you can do. And let's talk a little about Genta's products, too.
These 1 Billion shares need not necessarily hit this stock at once. Ray might sell them off in small portions (Ray does it all the time, when pps is between $1,00 and $0,01). And noteholders can opt against share converting and write off notes from tax.
Agree, it's a super speculative play AND always expect to be taken to the cleaners. Wash your head and rins with plenty of fresh water, when your bet didn't work.
This Hotstock report was one of the best in last year on GNTA, IMO:

Despite Genta's financing, this week is ASCO, and as always there might be some good chances for GENTA!
Im not quite sure about the next R/S, and it depends on some other factors, if executed or not. From technical point of view, a R/S should be done soon. But there are several other factors influencing the decline to the 0,01 level and how it can be prevented. But these other factors are only options, and nobody knows, if they opt for these alternatives.
But the 0,01 level will always be reached (at the normal Genta) as long the dilution goes on, that's just a matter of time and how many pump PR is released. And when Ray/noteholders or someone else hold considerable big amounts of shares (without further dilution) for a long period, no big decline in pps will occur. But then it would not be Genta anymore, I guess. Then it would be Pfizer, Merck or BAC.
And there are rumours, Genta's products attract new investors. Place your bets now. But be aware it's Genta.

you were not so confident about GNTA. The high negatives, especially these RS and the dilution sucks, but what make you so confident, that the stock will be better in half a year. No news out yet about new financing or partners, only rumours. But I agree with you, pipeline provides new prospects and probably attracts new investors.
Great news. Another presentation for tesetaxel on ASCO today:
http://abstract.asco.org/AbstView_102_82788.html
Time 8:00 to 12:00 AM.
So let's see and wait.
What's your target for today? Did you hear something new from ASCO?
Looks very good. I hold some shares, too. Most lost faith, but today's pps gives hope.
GO GENTA! Great gains and no pushers?
Read an updated report about GNTA:

Financials are not that bad.
Can't confirm this, but read some other MB's.

Genta's booth at ASCO: http://twitpic.com/57hwxm
Sure they have an eyeball on tesetaxel, and when time is ripe, they will SOAK UP it all, COMPLETLY Swallow up. PPS will skyrocketing, which you you will remember for 100 years on wallstreet. Remember: Genzyme was bought out recently by Sanofi. You hopefully know why! And the subdivision Genzyme Oncology is still part of Genzyme.
Visit their sessions at ASCO. Normally that's only interesting for researchers in medical fields. But they are willing to answer many questions regarding future prospects and you get an better insight how pharm research is done.
My co-researcher was talking to Dr. Warrell at ASCO. They will present detailed clinical data on Genasense failure. BUT, one study with different drug combination is still in progess. And until there is no final evaluation of study data, we still can expect a successful outcome of it.
Genta's booth at ASCO is # 2075. Pretty close to the BIG Pharma.

Look at the floor map
Genta's financing is still stable, and MASSIVE BUYS don't occur for no reasons. Agree, some know more than we. I hold a considerable amount of shares, too. The new drug attracts many investors.
Medical break-through of a drug only can be achieved by extensive research on all aspects. Sometimes it takes more than 10 or 15 yrs, until all mechanisms are understood in detail. And that's the way I see it with genasense. A failure until now with the old drug combination, but some doctors stick to it for reasons we don't know right now.
Failure in that old combinations of drugs. But the researchers at MD Anderson Medical Centre did not gave up hope until now.
Why is genta still doing research on Genasese?
http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01200342?term=genasense&rank=4
It seems to me that not all potentials of that drugs are yet evaluated.
In that case, pps will explode! And noteholders will buy back all these shares, which they previously dumped.
Outstanding shares are only 181 millions right now:
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/displayfilinginfo.aspx?FilingID=7965646-855-5016&type=sect&TabIndex=2&companyid=4015&ppu=%252fdefault.aspx%253fcik%253d880643
My guess, tesetaxel is attracting potential partners. And that means prospect for Ray. And for shareholders, too.
Not necessarily continued dumping by noteholders. If they took a look at the mechanisms of action of tesetaxel, they won't dump shares anymore. They will hold them, because success in studies means good advance of the company.
Agree, and remember that vote. But that's only maximum # of shares. No need to issue more shares, when they are presenting a partner.
Tesetaxel will get approval, for sure. But why you think after the 2nd R/S? The change can occur at ASCO. BIG Time for GNTA
Not really a surprise. Had this already in mind...
lol.. , somehow funny, but think twice, please. Mick has always Unbeatable arguments to think also on the other aspects. It might be hard for Ray to convince potential partners to hold on until there is an approval finally.
Agree, your suggestion for pps is realistic in view of good results. But whenever results are due, we'll see. But ppl already holding since years probably don't hold so much right now due to R/S. I am also looking forward to tesetaxel results.
Holding on and hoping for good results is the only thing, we can do at the moment.
How can you say that, if you don't know these ppl? maybe unperfect like you.
Right, if you know how to use it, that gives really very interesting results, from time to time... You should continue using it, but you also should stick to the "origin" and "intention" of that news...
yeah, but how does a dutch investor know that from a german newspaper site, trying to upgrade it to reliable news, when the original source already has anounced it in several other sources, which were paid for it to publish it?
Yeah, short-term trading that stock is the only way someone should deal with that stock. Just take a little chance here, but be careful...
If results are good, maybe they also find a marketing partner for it. That would bring in a lot of fresh capital, and the partners would hold their partnership shares for long, I guess. An approved drug or good-selling product would change a lot and it might be the end of dumping billions of shares.
Maybe it´s a pump, even very probably, but if results are good, pps is jumpin´ anyway. Have invested myself with a small pos before the results will be announced. Wouldn´t buy in when pps is already high. Just be carefull the next days, take the chance, but do not invest that sums that you can´t afford to loose.
The results will decide
