That's right Chips, I think CGFI gets $500 K of their money back when the ponds are finished being cleaned up. The balance stays on account as a bond for the rest of the mill operation.
CGFI is still a good bet, IMHO!
Well stated dlc7509! Good to have a "relative local's" input.
Good luck with the lode claims. Hope you make a bundle.
Of course that will be 2 bundles you'll have, the other being CGFI!
RKYMNT4,
If this were to become a long term problem, then yes, it may effect CGFIA's ability to raise cash from the market. But as we have seen from recent history, Guyer has been pretty good at getting work done on a shoestring and using stock as payment. (He has been criticized for doing this by naysayers, claiming unnecessary dilution.)
Looking at where we are now, this close to mill reopening, I believe that the mill shouldn't be as much of a cash hog as some expect. Actually, just the opposite. Remember, the mill has contracts to do toll mining, a way to bring in cash while the mines are readied for operation.
Guyer has also used his own resources to help CGFIA get as far as it has, forgiving some of the debt CGFIA owed to him along the way.
From what I have found in my research, this "chill", historically, should not last very long. (a month comes to mind)
If your trading philosophy is "flipping" then you may run into some trouble with some of the brokers. If you are a "long", then I think this shouldn't be much more than another bump in the road.
This is all IMHO.
Hope it helps, but I welcome other's comments.
CGFIA will overcome this situation.
Thanks Burk,
That helped me understand the whole mess much better.
You are way smarter than the average bear (or bull)!
I'm holding my CGFIA long, so this shouldn't hurt much. Maybe it will slow the flippers down a bit, but "investors" have less to worry about than it has been portrayed.
TY kblb, I didn't know that! Did he win any races, or was his luck like mine lately? LOL
Let's hope the economy picks up in Vegas / Henderson. That's what's needed to see this stock pick up and move to greener pastures!
GLTY and Boyd.
Grizz, I'm with Scottrade also.
FYI, They charge an extra 1/2% fee for trades of stocks valued under $4 per share. I'm pleased with their speed of execution and never have had any trouble with trading CGFIA!
This mess will blow over soon, and CGFIA will be moving up soon!
VM, just a small correction to your post. I think you wanted this link....
http://failstodeliver.com/default.aspx
It gives you the page you talked about, where you enter PCFG. (or any other ticker symbol).
Mahalo!
Go PCFG, make us rich!
I may have a new candidate for the "iggy" award! I'll give him a chance to really annoy me before I press the button!
All I know is this stock has done better than most others I have seen. It's even going better than Newmont as far as % increase this year! (44% vs. 4.5% last I checked)
I'm still holding on real tight to PCFG!
Thanks, Phred6!
Sometimes I just lurk when I don't have anything intelligent to say. (My wife wishes I would do the same at home!)
I still believe that the "adjustment" we had was a mistake. The basic facts regarding PCFG has not changed. I believe that when a full month of 100% production running first pass aggregate through the system is accomplished, the mistake will be realized and the price will easily top present estimates.
Even if we only reach .25, that's still between 8 to 10 times my original purchase price.
JMHO
I'm still long and strong on PCFG!
So, what do you call going from .07 to .04, if not a correction? I think we had one already. JMHO
Dlc7509,
I believe that number is for "Class B common shares" for CGFIA.
CUSIP search showed nothing, but an Internet search found a reference to it on:
http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/colorado-goldfields-inc-announces-class-b-common-ready-issue-all-brokers-and-shareholders-1240825.htm
Look about half way down the page and you will see a reference to it regarding short sale failure to produce penalties.
I don't know if that covers it for you, but it seems that anything in more depth requires a subscription to Bloomberg or some other service.
Good luck!
Area 51 is only a few seconds from the mine if you are doing warp 4 in a FTL craft!
(I'm going to buy one when PCFG is bought out by one of the big boys!)
Being serious for a second, what a shame about our guys. Strange things happening. They will be missed. I wish them well.
Hey Troger,
DRMS CGFIA mill permit #M-1984-049.
Haven't heard from you in a while. Are you still struggling with those 0007's? LOL
Have a good weekend!
MT
TY, debu801, I had forgot about the limits, probably because I never have had the privilege (or cash) to place an order quite that large at once!
Dow is down, but CGFIA is still holding steady today.
You can never know why someone sells (or buys) stocks. Everyone should use their own judgement when it comes to buying and selling.
A larger block of stock such as that is a bit odd, particularly in one block, but not unheard of. After all, the float is large, so % wise it isn't that large of a transaction. (Probably the reason we dropped to .0004, but it quickly recovered.)
Don't panic. There has been no indication of any adverse news or developments. (It could just be something as simple as someone needing to free up some cash for another buy they want to execute.)
I'm in for the long haul, so I'm still holding on to my 4.5 million shares of CGFIA stock. (Not a fortune, but it's what I have. Hoping to pay off the mortgage next year with this play.)
Let's see if anyone else sees anything odd.
Ok CGFIA'ers, what's your take on this?
Akula42
Looks like you are gaining a little CGFIA "weight" there Akula, but, on you it looks good! LOL!
I added your catch to the total. Thanks for the update.
Good Luck!
dlc7509
Thanks for the update, I'll add these to your total.
We all may be working for CGFIA, but look at all the benefits!
Good Luck!
mtns,
Thanks for the update!
More cargo for the CGFIA Flotilla!
Good Luck!
Scooter239
I'll add them to the pile. I need to get a fork truck to reach the top, but I'll get them there!
Good Luck trading.
Good to have you no the CGFIA flotilla.
Grizz,
I also use Scottrade. If you deposit a check at a branch office, your funds will be available at the end of business that same day. The 3 day wait is on bank transfers. (electronic deposit from bank to broker) Scott also charges 0.5% on trades under $4.00 per share.
Never had any trouble with them......so far.
Hope this helps you.
'67, glad to add your "little addition" to the family. Hope it grows up to be a hulking brute of an investment.
Keep the faith in CGFIA!
johndeere4,
Glad to add your shares to the list.
Good luck & welcome to the "CGFIA FLOTILLA"
Stack them like cord wood AK, then jump on them and add some more!
Keep sending me the info, I'll keep track of the SECOND BILLION SHARES that iHub's CGFIA members hold!
That's right, this board holds 1,004,581,620 shares of CGFIA! (plus the mighty Armada's shares)
The end is in sight. CGFIA will surprise all the doubting Thomas' out there!
And the CGFIA FLOTILLA AWARD for best documentary of a gold mine in a natural setting goes to ficose!
WOW! If one picture is worth a thousand words, then you just hit 15 billion with this post!
Great job!
Can't wait till next year's field trip!
Glad to have you back!
AK, get a barge to pull behind you. You'll need it when it's time to cash in! Then you can get the cruise liner to float around in!
CGFIA, floating by boat!
That's the plan dlc7509!
As far as sounding stupid, don't worry, stupid we got plenty of here. It sort of comes with the grog that the Flotilla has been buying lately.
When CGFIA starts up the POW mill, we will be able to afford better grog and maybe some smarts too!
I don't think they will give you anything for that honor, except a lot of grief and ridicule.
I hate to tell you this, but "Luc Belgium" was the one who rolled the iHub CGFIA counter to a billion!
Sorry DSEA. You still are "one in a billion"!
dlx7509,
I'll have to get back to you on this one. I saved a few websites on my PC, but I'm not at home.
To start out, look thru the help sites on iHUB. If you have specific questions, just throw them out here and someone will usually have a quick answer for you.
I'll try and get back to you tomorrow, but it may be a bit later, I'm on west coast time.
Sorry I'm not of any help right now.
Anyone else out there who can help dlc out?
Thanks!
CGFIA, the Pride of the West!
Thanks dlc7509!
You have been added to the list of the CGFIA Flotilla!
Good Luck, and welcome aboard!
According to the CGFIA website, the outstanding share count (O/S) is 6.2 billion shares.
Here is a link to the SEC filings.
http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?company=colorado+goldfields&cik=&filenum=&state=&sic=&owner=include&action=
You may want to look at the financials yourself. It may seem like an alien language, but look at the 10Q from 7/2011 and it will give you the O/S, A/S and all the latest financial info.
Don't be afraid to ask about anything you see or read. Most of the members of this board will be glad to help you out.
It's a beautiful thing ain't it RKYMNT4?
Just think of the cars and boats that all those shares will buy when CGFIA starts to roll!
So what color Batmobile will be in the Batcave next? Black is getting boring!
Thanks for the update thomasg.
I'll add your new acquisition to the total.
GLTY!
Killerray52
Only???
Come on buddy, that's still a good size cargo! (and I know Uncle Sam didn't make you a millionaire during your tour.)
Thanks for the update. Good luck. Now let's make some money!
Sure, DCC, happy to help.
A/S = "authorized shares" or the total number of shares that can be issued at any time. That doesn't mean they are outstanding, only "allowed" to be issued by the board of directors.
O/S = "outstanding shares" or the total number of shares issued and in circulation.
FYI, O/S multiplied by the price per share (PPS) equals the Market Capital, or the dollar value of the company.
GLTY, and happy trading.
I think I'll need a translator for Ben's speech. I never understand what he says!
Maybe he'll announce a return to a gold based monitary system? (OK, I know, but I can fantasize, can't I?)
GLTA long and RICH!
ONE BILLION SHARES!
THAT'S RIGHT, 1,000,301,620 shares owned by the iHUB CGFIA FLOTILLA's 109 declared members!
Thats the way to do it guys and gals! Get them while they are cheap.
Good Luck to all CGFIA investors. Our payday is on the way.
Thanks Luc Belgium,
Your total has been added, and you did it!
WE HAVE BROKEN ONE BILLION SHARES!
Now all we need is an announcement that the mill has been reopened, and the real fun will begin!
GLTA CGFIA INVESTORS!
Keep the numbers coming, I'll keep counting.(but I'm starting to need a few more fingers and toes to keep track of all these boatloads!)
Seig,
Thanks for the update! I think you are going to need a bigger boat soon!
King Zulu
Thanks for the figures, welcome aboard!
Don't apologize for the size of your position. It's not the size of your holdings, but what you do with it that counts. I think you are being smart. Buy only what you are comfortable with. (I started with 400k shares, added when I could, and the pile slowly grew.)
Good Luck trading, I think CGFIA is ready to give us a fun ride!
Lt., I know that you are an independent thinker, and certainly are not part of a " crew" in the general sense of the word. (poor choice of language on my part) I know I value your opinion as do many on this board. I have followed your spirited discussions with 567, Chips and many others. I find myself agreeing with many of your posts, as well as disagreeing with some things too. But isn't that how we get smarter, listening to other people's opinions?
Keep it up, Lt., you are a valued member of this board, and as such, welcome to share the grog!
