Why did APPI explode hours before news?

IBAC Corporations Board Approves Reduction in Its Authorized Shares by 150 Million

I know what you mean. I'm glad I got out at 0.097 with a small profit.

I only wish I hadn't been such a pig though and left when it was at 0.145.

If E-Trade releases my funds, I might get back in, but this stock is just too weird and hard to figure out. Last time I checked, good news in a PR was supposed to make a stock go up.

I think there is going to be a lot of selling tomorrow in preparation for the long weekend and we will probably end the day in the red, but there should be some real bargains to be had down in the .07's for anybody still holding dry powder.

FYI: I don't know how it is with other brokers, but with E-Trade if you buy shares with a cash account and then upgrade to a margin account, when you go to sell those shares you will not have immediate access to the funds, as they will still be considered as coming from a cash account. You will probably have to wait the three business days to get your money.

I just found this out the hard way today with my PLYCF shares.

I'm going to put a buy limit order in for 5,000 shares at around .080 at the opening tomorrow. I'm going to Traders Expo in Vegas this weekend and won't be able to sit and watch all day tomorrow.

Hopefully, it will start off slow in the morning so I can get my shares cheap and then explode in the afternoon with an awesome PR.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the day the MM's are ordered to buy back all these shares, won't there be a sell-off of biblical proportions by people taking profit?

Does anybody have any idea what the share price should get to, all things considered?

Also, it seems to me that the MM's have probably bought back ten's of millions of shares already in the past week or two. When the NOBO/OBO list comes out, it may already be a moot point.

I guess maybe it all just seems to good to be true.

Is there some way to flip stocks and not be bound by the SEC's rule where you have to wait three business days to use the proceeds from one sale to make another stock purchase?

I was told there is no way around it unless you open a margin account, but that you probably shouldn't trade penny stocks on margin.

I think that so much expectation has been built up regarding the whole NOBO thing that this stock will just flatline until we hear something about it from the company.

The best thing that PlayStar could do right now would be to release a very detailed PR. Something that quells all these rumours.

All they are doing right now is deflating the share price and letting the MM's off the hook.

Nathan, why don't you give them a call and see what you can do?

XM is NOT commercial-free!!!!!

Maybe some channels are, but CNBC and Bloomberg News (the only ones I listen to) are absolutely chock-full of commercials. Close to 50% commercials, it seems.

Why doesn't someone call Playstar and ask them what they know about Nathan, NOBO lists, XM deals, etc.? Should be someone who is very knowledgable about stocks and finance (not me!).

I would love to hear what they have to say. It's kind of strange the way Nathan was always telling us NOT to call them.

If I'm reading my Yahoo charts correctly, about 250,000 shares sold could have dropped the price from .105 to .10.

A lot of people read this board. People holding millions of shares. A couple of them could have decided to take some profit, do some flipping, etc.

Personally, I hope to be able to pick up another 5,000 shares or so as soon as some money comes in on Thursday or Friday. So I'm kind of hoping for another dip.

I think the reason that we get the sell-offs even after good news is that people are sitting around waiting for the BIG BIG BIG press release concerning the NOBO list.

When a non-NOBO related PR comes out, everybody figures that they can take their money elsewhere for at least a day or two.
