Goinfishn, Well said, and I agree about 90% with you. You stated in your first paragraph...."The DOD is requiring TPM's in all new computer purchases." Later you said..."IF the DOD goes TPM and Wave." Everybody keeps using the word "IF." The DOD HAS mandated that ALL new PC's WILL HAVE TPM's. You do not do this if you are not going to use it. Let's say it this way... WHEN the DOD get's all their new TPM PC's in place, and Seagate starts shipping their new FDE drives, we are going to see alot of action for WAVE. Hopefully alot of PR stuff as well. So this is the reason for our slog. Let's just take our bundling things, and our upgrades to finish off 06. SKS said that Seagate won't be ready until spring to ship. When that happens, and the DOD is all in place with their new PC's....WATCH OUT! KATIE BAR THE DOOR! THE SLOG GENTLEMEN,WILL BE OVER!!!

Ramsey, I would think that the customer would do his/her homework before purchasing a FDE drive. It's like buying a car. Wouldn't you do some research before buying? I think we should give a little credit to some of the CEO's who will be making these decisions in 07. I would be inclined to think that they will want the most "TRUSTED" drive on the market. ZZT

Ramsey, YES!!! And I would almost guarantee that the Gov. and most enterprises are going to want "TRUSTED DRIVES."

Weby, IMO, that is exactly why the DOD is mandating that all PC's have TPM's. They want everything to go through the TPM. They cannot wait until Seagate is ready to ship. Now, with the above said, whose software is the DOD going to use to manage all those TPM PC's? ZZT

You know, I just don't understand why this is hard to figure out. Seagate and Wave are showing the world how their stuff will work together on Jan. 6th and 7th. Seagate is on the verge of shipping the FDE drives that the Gov. wanted yesterday! Enterprises want these drives ASAP! They all will have TPM's. WAVE manages the TPM!! This is not rocket science. EVERY FDE DRIVE THAT IS SHIPPED NEXT YEAR TO A TPM PC, WILL EITHER HAVE WAVE BUNDLED OR THEY WILL NEED TO BUY IT!!! ZZT

Doma, I would also guess that nicknamen is expecting to see Seclude in Seagate's tent on Jan. 6th and 7th. The only problem with that though, and I know this to be a fact, is WAVE is going to be in Seagate's tent. It might be a little crowded in there....unless one of them won't be there. ZZT

Mymoneybgone, I agree. But a nice PR right about now would put everything to rest, except the SP, which would move north quite well. In any event, it doesn't look like SKS's statement about closing the Seagate deal by years end is looking too good.

Getting ready to wrap Christmas presents with my wife,so I'll make this quick. IMO, there are three different scenario's that could unfold by March 1st. I will give you BEST CASE,WORST CASE, and SOMEWHERE IN-BETWEEN CASE.

BEST CASE....We get a couple of big announcements that take the SP past the $3.80 mark (where Snackman said there would be some resistance.) The street takes notice and sends the SP up to around $7.50-$8.00 (where Snackman said there would be more resistance). The Qt.4 CC is very good,(rev's between $2.0mil -$2.8mil) taking the SP over $10.00.

WORST CASE....NO NEWS from now until the Qt.4 CC. SP remains stagnant till around a couple of weeks before the CC, where it then moves up to around $3.00 or a little north of 3. The CC is again disappointing with numbers around 1.1mil-1.3mil. The SP drops back to around $2.60.

IN-BETWEEN CASE....We get ONE announcement that takes the SP to the $3.80 mark. We hit resistance at that price and stay there until the CC. The Qt.4 CC has good numbers, and is very encouraging (1.5mil - 2mil.) The SP breaks through the resistance and heads to around $4.50 or so. Investors notice, and take it to Snackman's next resistance point..$8.00.

So there you have it. By March 1st we will be sitting on a SP of either $12.00 or $8.00 or $2.60. Just havin some fun here on a quiet Friday night. Have to go wrap presents now.

Wavxmaster, SKS stated..."We've closed a number of transactions already in Q4 with enterprise customers." Wouldn't SKS announce those if they are closed, or could he still be in the process now? I believe he will make an announcement on those half dozen 25,000 seat deals if but one of them is closed in time for Q4. This I believe will start the domino effect.....Every closed deal should be finished with a PR. This would(IMO) have a huge effect on Q4 results and SP. ZZT

Ramsey,The big question is WHY? WHY wouldn't the #1 selling PC maker want to offer the BEST security solution in the WORLD? Stubborness, pride, arrogance? I agree, that something is about to change. If they don't get with the program(which I believe the Gov. will make them)then they are going to be left behind sucking major dust!! ZZT

I'm feeling a big news announcement is coming our way soon. If for some reason it doesn't come before Christmas, then January will give us more than 1 announcement. IMO. Closing just one of those half dozen k25,000 seat upgrades that SKS talked about in Qt3 cc will be a huge X factor for Qt4. If not, then closing more than one looks real good for Qt1 07. That, along with bundling,NTT,Intel, and the tens of thousands upgrades, imo, should take us to BE. ZZT

goin fishn, We as investors, do not expect our CEO to reveal info. that is needed to be kept silent for the good of the company. We EXPECT him to ANNOUNCE the info. that he has openly made public. Example.... SKS gave us(the shareholders)info. at the last cc in regards to Seagate. SKS stated that, Wave will be closing the deal with Seagate by the end of the year 06. He also said that this deal(for all intent and purposes)should have been done already. So why am I saying this? This very statement(used as a example) is exactly what Awk and this board has been talking about for the last 24hrs. Will the CEO of Wave Systems, make an ANNOUNCEMENT, regarding the closing of the Seagate deal that he openly told the shareholders would close by year end 06. Is his statement misguiding, or will he deliver what he stated? All eyes will be watching this one from now until Dec. 31st. ZZT

Wavxmaster, Thanks for your post. Only one thing.... You stated that MSFT was trading at $30 in 1998, and right now their trading at $29, so they hav'nt moved much in 8 years. I think you need to be informed that they had 3 2:1 splits in that time-frame. They also gave out 4 or 5 dividends as well. You might want to look up IBM as well. I would venture to say that they also had a handful of splits in that 8 year time-frame. ZZT

Wavxmaster, Thanks for your encouraging post. I always enjoy reading them. I agree that tc is going to take time to unfold. SKS and Wave are not to blame for that. With that said, I do believe though, that SKS is responsible to giving us more accurate guidance, and more often. Sure wish he would throw us a nice bone before Christmas! Take it easy. ZZT

Snack, I would guess that all here would love to ask SKS all kinds of questions, but he must not want to answer back. If he did, I believe you would see alot more posts giving some very interesting answers from SKS. Again, it is not up to us to provide updated info that has the power to move the SP in a positive direction. That is up to the CEO! Tell us that the Seagate deal is coming to a close, and an announcement will be made within a certain time frame. Tell us that there are some new updated talks going on with NTT Data and HP, and that fellow owners of the company will be very pleased with these updates. Tell us something that will make us think about buying more shares instead of sitting on our hands and waiting for the next cc. TELL US SOMETHING!!! PLEASE!!! ZZT

Awk, I agree with you 100%. We as investors, deserve at least alittle info on what the heck is going on in-between the cc's. SKS needs to step up to the plate and give his faithful investors something to be encouraged about once and awhile. That will at least keep the SP on the up and up. Regarding the government... SKS stated in the cc that "if the partners we're with win, we will announce that we are on the winning team." I believe that some area of gov. is supposed to announce the winners of a certain contract in late nov./ early dec. Can anybody help me out on that one? Also, it seems that if the winners are Dell,HP, and Gateway, then Wave would be doing a PR about themselves. FWIW, that would seem like a pretty big PR, with possibly a HP bundling mention. Just some thoughts. ZZT

Ispro, My statement was made in regards to the time of the post and beyond. The SP rise that you stated was in the timeframe just prior to the Qt3 CC.(anticipation of a good cc i'm assuming). This current SP will have no significant movement until there is NEWS and NUMBERS announced. IMO. ZZT

We all know that these unending articles of info regarding security that are posted here are very much appreciated, but they are not what we are looking for. I believe, after reading the PR once again, that this is going to end up being a bundling deal with HP. Bundling with Dell, HP, and Seagate all intertwined with the Gov. spells really good Rev's for Wave in 07. IMO. ZZT

They are spending millions on new Dell, HP, and Gateway computers, you better believe they want all these computers to work with the best software. WE ALL KNOW WHOSE IS THE BEST SOFTWARE! This is the beginning of big news that the DOD is going to be using ETS on all their computers. IMHO. ZZT
