From the Y board and Reddit
They don't even own their "cornerstone" trademark in the US. From the reddit board with link to DD. Likely why the CEO sold 1.8 million in shares yesterday. Time to get away from this shady management team.
No record of them informing their shareholders their CBDMD trademark registration was suspended in Dec of 2020.

You should share your concern with the Cison journalist instead.
By the way your wasting your time and energy here with your negative energy.
Go make a positive impact some where instead of spewing your trash.
PEA(same as in CV Defense) now being prescribed in Canada!

Hey Sleuth if you have time to do some digging tonight it would be great to unveil some nugget of news to our new shareholders tomorrow. I will dig around but you're the best and finding gems and timing would be so amazing. No pressure:)
Now I'm not good at statistical stock analysis(branding and retail sales/distribution is my thing), but here is a comparison of YCBD 2020 Q4 performance metrics and a fictitious Q4 performance of a similar CBD company trading at .77(13% of YCBD 5.90 Share price) .
Can someone with more analysis experience please add additional metrics and insight to this?

We've been to this level of excitement before. If this is not the beginning of the big run back to a fair evaluation I hope we at the least attracted new, serious investors who did some DD on their own.
Most of us have been here so long I would welcome new energy and support. I'd also welcome some new product news, but Dowling has his settings on "IGNORE".
Intriguing find Sleuth, I was hoping we would see some collaboration between the 2 companies.
We need to identify a marketing coordinator whom can drive interested investors our way since Dowling and Co don't care about their shareholders.
this find is credited to the Y-Board.
Seems our vendor information and relationship would be in place for future product expansion with Kroger.

The challenge for USPTO to reconsider the final Action on Pro Plus CBD trademark from Jan 20 is a fun read.

The reddit/Gamestop method won't save us, but Andrew Lefts attack on us may provide some interesting to those paying attention to his Reddit action. If some Reddit members did some DD on CVSI right now we would be doing them a favor as this is trading at a bargain price.
I would suggest listening to the Duffy Mackay podcast link I posted yesterday. Nothing breakthrough but you can get additional sense of confidence we have the right guy to be pushing for regulation with the FDA and in Washington. He emphasizes the importance of the FDA providing retailer confidence for the big chains selling supplements, which leads me to believe CVSI is prepared to fill the big retail shelves upon the nod from the gov't or FDA.
He has much more calm demeanor comparatively to Tomc and Dowling.
Listen here.

By the way 8 days until NEW HARVEST action is required by the USPTO! Are we in for a surprise glimpse into a future product line, an extension or dead concept?
Haven't listened yet but Mackay leads the conversation on this podcast from yesterday.

I also am rooting for any kind of partnership or hell an entire acquisition at this point. With all the consolidation happening in the MJ segment you would think one of those big players would like to purchase the top CBD supplement brand as well. Now is Dowling and the board too stubborn to take a solid offer, likely, but they need to acknowledge they have options and the tank is getting low on gas.
"seeking" partner in q1
I would like to see a 120 day account buying list vs just a total number accounts. The beverage world uses 90 day buying metric. So if they have 7300 locations how many have purchased in the last 120 days?
Very basic January Marketing Deck : Shows store increase, but other than that more consumer friendly than investor: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4399163-cv-sciences-cvsi-investor-presentation-slideshow
I want to see new revenues (product lines) and sales results, not a quick "trending" MJ segment bump.
From Thomas on the Yboard.
Another piece of IP for cvsi.

On a more positive note what catalyst for growth sees light of day next?
1. New Harvest
2. Potentia
3. FDA Regulation advancements
4. CV Defense, Acute, type brands
The sales/marketing team can't just be sitting around fulfilling orders for the same retailers they've had for the last 3 years.
Great to hear you were connecting the dots on the flora and alaffia connection. All arrows point that they will be releasing a new product line in the body care/toiletry category in the coming quarters. Under Pontentia or New Harvest who knows, but they've had ample time to develop these with Shane, Tom and Andrew, all previous of either Flora and/or Alaffia. Category reviews at large retailers have been pushed back 6 months or more for 2021 category resets, but I think with this teams history they will have landed the meetings and have presented the new lines by now. Hoping to see the product line in the coming quarter, in anticipation for retail shelves in the Spring.
Happy New Year Sleuth. Thanks again for all the insights.
Another interesting recent hire and now our VP of Sales is Andrew Dorf. He spent 7 years with Flora (along with Tom Ball) and most recently 5 years as the Director of Sales of Alaffia. Alaffia seems to align with the intended New Harvest categories. https://www.alaffia.com I found a various range of sources regarding their annual revenue from $5-$60 million. No source was reliable in the google search.
From Alaffia FAQ page: "Which retailers carry Alaffia products?
Please visit our store locator for a listing of retailers that carry Alaffia. Our products are available at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Wegmans, Target, Walmart, Thrive Market, Central Market, H-E-B, Earth Fare, Fresh Thyme, VitaCost.com, iHerb.com, Amazon.com and independent health food stores throughout the U.S. and Canada."
So between the VP of Sales and National Sales Director they share experience in wellness(at flora) and now the VP whom was the Sales Director for 5 years in fair trade beauty category at alaffia.
Building my confidence in the sales team when it comes to the CV Defense/Wellness and soon to be announced New Harvest. Our CBD products continue to evolve and refresh. Bring on the new products the outside sales team has the experience to get it done!
Nice outlook Blue. Something big is bound to happen for CVSI by end of Q2 2021. Currently they have enough cash and are running a nimble enough operation to keep things rolling.
Let's get vaccines rolling out and see if the FDA can get further towards a stance on CBD supplements. That will pop open big retail business for the reputable Plus CBD brand.
Thank @Smooth_Legend Nice info graphs and the info was relevant.
Thank you @sleuth and here's one for ya.
CVSI has a new National Sales Manager, Tom Ball. He'a only been there 1 year, but spent 20 years at Flora Manufacturing and Distributing. Interesting wellness product lines with a ton of specialty ingredients.
https://www.florahealth.com/en/
I like new blood in the sales hierarchy, especially with a solid work history in the segment like this guy.
From 30K feet it seems he could handle the complexity of a lot of specialty skus and after 20 years at Flora he knows where to spend his and his teams time. I also think its a good strategy, because they are management heavy on the West Coast and tom seems to reside in the Northeast.
Wishing Mr.Ball and his cohorts a safe holiday season and a strong start out of the gate in 2021!
Fair observation. Is it safe to say that CVSI would be the only gum+CBD allowed(initially) for nicotine treatment if the studies came back correct in the markets where the product patented?
@GE_Jim I'm wondering more about how Justin Clark Lee is doing on the oral CBD tobacco cessation study at Johns Hopkin University. I hope he is laser focused and in good health during these times. Looks like we have about 6 months and hopefully strong conclusion that will draw more interest to CVS007/CANTINE.

CVSI Longggggg
@motorcity I had to block a very noisy member too, although previous to the election time they brought some value to the board. I just couldn't take it anymore, it was just too distracting with all the meowing and political banter.
@alwaysbmikki , Do you have the whole article?
5mg Organic milk bone type, dry treats.
On another topic I ordered some of the new 50mg soft gels to try them out. Soft gels containers are now arriving in nice boxes that will stack easier when they get them into brick N mortar Walmart:) I guess I could have just taken 3-15mg but figured I'd see what the new sellable product was like. Normally I take 1-15mg around 9am after 2 morning coffees. I waited until later in the day to let the caffeine to wear off to take the 50mg. Interested in hearing about other who have increased their dosage after a long time on a much lower dose. The 50mg thankfully don't have me concerned with effects, not shaky or anything, but overall sensitivity seems elevated. I prefer the 15mg from day in day out, but when I'm injured and healing up, as I am right now the 50mg are nice.
As for the investment, we were going to need it one way or the other, wish I had more insights to Tumim Stone Capital and their track record.
Keep selling em off Mona.
Yeah I poked a lot of holes in it too, but my question is who screens these contributors? That piece is weak blasphemy.
So he can build an excel bar chart or 2. Who screens these authors? Guess they let any medium sized coffee business owners to contribute to SA.
CV Sciences: CBD Is All The Rage Yet This Stock Will Get Ravaged

You all need to stop with the Trump Biden banter. Moderators please keep these members talking about CBD and CVSI. We get the POTUS, Senate and FDA effect the outlook of CBD, but your banter is taking up too much space on this page. Take that shit to Facebook or your dinner table.
