GoldSpring, Inc. Announces Additions to Its Comstock Lode Team
6 minutes ago - PR Newswire
GoldSpring, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GSPG) announced today the appointment of Dwight Juras, PH.D in Geology, and Mike Norrad, Graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, to its consulting team to assist in the development of its project in the Comstock Lode district. Mr. Juras has over 30 years of diverse experience in structural ore control and geological surveying and mapping of vein systems. Mr. Norrad has more than 30 years of experience in developing engineering data base management, technical graphics, geostatistics, and numeric analysis software for the mining industry. For the last 24 years, Mike has served as President of Techbase International, Ltd., where he developed the widely-used Techbase software system for mining companies.
Company COO, James Golden, stated, "These two professionals are well known industry experts with established mining history in the Comstock Lode region. Their initial responsibilities will be to review the geological data developed by our team over the last several months, assist with our drilling program and to integrate the findings into our mine plan we have been developing during 2007. We continue to identify other professionals with specific skills to strengthen our team."
The Company spent most of 2007 analyzing geological data, developing geological mapping, planning developmental and exploration drilling and developing a comprehensive mine plan. These steps were taken to improve the Company's overall mining, milling and processing procedures. The Company anticipates the drilling program to commence in the short term, subject to its ability to raise adequate capital. Mining and milling activities should resume immediately following the completion of the mine plan, upon receipt of adequate financing.
GoldSpring, Inc. is a North American precious metals mining and milling company with an operating gold and silver mine in northern Nevada. The Company was formed in mid-2003 and acquired the Plum Mine property in November 2003. In the Company's relatively short history, it secured permits, built an infrastructure and brought the Plum project into production. During 2005, the Company acquired additional properties around the Plum project in northern Nevada, expanding its footprint and creating opportunities for exploration. GoldSpring is an emerging company, looking to build on its success through the acquisition of other mineral properties in North America with reserves and exploration potential that can be efficiently put into near-term production. The Company's objectives are to increase production, increase reserves through exploration and acquisitions, expand its footprint at the Plum mine, and maximize cash flow and return for its shareholders.

Why would you say
"Obviously there are only a few longs left here"
I tend to think there are actually quite a few of us left.
McQ
I had 5 million shares at the start of the year I now have 33!
McQ
On a $150 dollar trade I'm scared. I think you need to step up your game it's pretty lame. I'm curious did you see them raise the bid after :)
McQ
Ahh you do realize it was the post before yours???
McQ
He is insecure needs people to tell him he's smart for selling at .079 and gets his kicks from piping in when others are down. I would say over all solid guy.
JMHO
McQ
Pro-
I'm sure there are people in the red but a lot of longs are averaged in and around pre-split .02.
Yes we could have sold and made a good profit but to say we are "very in the red" is wrong. CTB has posted before he is averaged in the low 2's so he is close to even or actually up.
McQ
The bid is up to .55 nice. EM.
McQ
Slip,
I'm curious is this the same hayhauler you wrote about a few months back?

Golly gee, hayhauler, I didn't realize I was establishing any kind of "lead".
Quite frankly, you haven't offered up any information that would lend credibility to your claim that your family has been leasing oil and gas properties for over 50 years...
A few more showing up at the bid in the .30 range.
McQ
lol. EM.
McQ
Not much cooking with the spread between bid and ask which will give???
McQ
I need it to be at .57 for break even on 68,000 shares.
McQ
I wonder if we get an AM pr now that accounts seemed to be switched .
McQ
Scottrade is set EM.
McQ
I still have my old shares listed in my account anyone have their shares switched over yet?
McQ
AENP em.
That would put us at .0128 pre split.
McQ
My account shows the shares at .32 last price...
McQ
I put an order in for a chart busting 10 shares and it went through at .45 .
McQ
Hey gang,
FWIW I'm still around just watching and reading from the sidelines. I must say what a ride its been, hopefully it will work out for the ones that stuck it out.

Wow! I missed a lot of posts, after careful consideration I decided to vote my 1.7 million shares for the R/S. I apreciate all of the opinions and all the posts but, we have to remember they are just that opinions! Vote what you think is right for yourself and YOUR investment.
