DeGen,
They will not disclose the terms because they are confidential. Even if there is a cash influx as a line item on their financials, I don't think that would give you a true and accurate representation of the deal.
I would guess they negotiated something similar to Exxon and maintained a % share of profit oil. But we are not going to know this anytime soon. If there is nothing in the JDZ, why retain profit oil as XOM did? We know the terms in the APC transaction were not deemed material by the company. Why then, did APC/Addax decide to keep the terms confidential? More unconnected dots.
Most of this IMHO

Just out of curiousity, would seo have to disclose additional stock purchased on the aim, if shares were issued? I am not aware of the reporting requirements.
-ach
Question asked. I'll let you know. Sometimes he doesn't respond.
-ach
I think it is safe to say that all of the board fortune tellers have pretty much worn out their welcome. I wouldn't be suprised to see some new ones appear over the summer. Hopefully, they don't get as much mileage this time around.
Official PR's are the only ***News*** items I need or want to see anymore.

I don't think so. You don't speak for someone like that when they are a majority shareholder unless you are authorized to do so first. It was a message specifically meant to be delivered through Bovell. If Bovell was speaking off the cuff, then he would have cost himself his job. IMHO

i think tamtam put a video of that presentation on you tube. but i could be wrong.
-ach
nobody is buying my shares amj, they are not for sale. I was just pointing out to try that your post and peteman's had a different account of the dry gas/wet gas issue.
-ach
I heard him midtier - he said $10.
-ach
I am waiting for the Chinese - which means september. Actions speak louder than words. I've been through this BS too many times over the years.
Phase II = the game is still afoot
No Phase II = it sucks to be me
That's about as simple as it gets.
-ach
amj's guy said wet gas in our blocks. so we have a bit of a discrepency here.
-ach
umbra, you are a bit cheeky today. have a dairy flake and relax. lol.

camping on westheimer would certainly not be tranquil!
-ach
Sorry kownski, I think this was a dream.
See post #198231

FYI - I askend APC again about the terms of the Block 3 sale since it has been well over 6 months. The response was that the terms are under a confidentiality agreement and the amounts were not material to Anadarko. So I guess they are not going to disclose the information.

exceo,
You invested the time but didn't want to buy the cow - so no free milk. In erhc's case, We have invested the time and more than paid for the cow - it's time to give us some milk!

i asked LP if he could reveal any of the companies interested in bidding in the EEZ. As expected, he's not really willing to say who yet. But I do wonder if he offers a small hint in his message.
"Jusst after the opening of the round We received manifestation of interest of many compamies and of course we need all companies to bid, americans, chinese, french etc, etc

thanks - good reference point if we ever actually find out terms in a block 1 total deal.
-ach
out of curiosity/laziness, do you know at what stage of development akpo was in when cnooc bought their %.
-ach
it seems to me that this is pretty good evidence that we have something similar to akpo on our hands. SNP needs Total to pull off the engineering for this monster.
-ach
Hi pops8x,
Your source said we would here something early this week. Do you know of a reason why that did not occur?
I appreciate your input.
-ach
so many new faces. but for how much longer???
-ach
maybe you should post a picture of a broken clock instead of a crow - although, really a broken clock is actually correct more often.
-ach
FWIW
According to Prazeres, ERHC and EEL are not currently in PSC negotiations at this time for any of the recently granted EEZ blocks.
-ach
it is on e*trade as of 9:34
-ach
11 is a huge block
-ach
Hi amj,
Do you know there will be "news soon" or are you just anticipating this based on everything going on?
Thanks,
-ach
FWIW - I received an email from prazeres today verifying that eel and erhc are currently in the process of making their preferential block choices.
-ach
well i posted it from prazeres. i'm just having fun.
ouch middy - i never did anything to you. that hurts.
-ach
Just got this from Prazeres.
"Mr. XXXX
The decision was taken and very soon government will announce the date of the openning, that could be in march"
-ach
I asked Prazeres if he was still anticipating the opening of the EEZ bid round in march. His response:
"The final decision will be taken this week."
-ach
jaguar. lol.
Prazeres response to what month he anticipates EEZ bid round opening - jan, feb or march:
Mybe in March.

Just FYI - I asked Prazeras about his comments regarding drilling results and what he was considering as the "expected" amount of oil (NSAI?). He responded by saying that detailed information will be available in January.
He will respond to every question you ask. The only question he has ignored from me in the past couple of weeks was regarding whether ERHC could pick 15% from a block EEL has excercised 100% in. I wonder why? I'm sure they have that issue addressed. right?
-ach
I liked the part about official data to be published in January.
And here I though results would be released on "3/15". LOL.
-ach
If this turns out to be an akpo type situation, it makes perfect sense why CVX needed to wait on drilling in blocks 2 through 4 before proceeding with their/our? strategy.
-ach
If that is true we might actually be worth more than 50 cents. I should stop pumping.
-ach
I suppose if we have something that is comparable to the size of Akpo it could realistically take up half of block 4. At least that's what I gather from the map in the ibox.
-ach
Thanks Mark,
Oki does not seem to be within the channel. Any rationale as to why they would choose this site as it relates to the others?
-ach
This response may ruffle a few feathers:
