Iam trying!!!...... Novak report......
To Virtual Media Holdings (VMHIF) Shareholders (VMHIF)
Virtual Media Holding's is presenting a new breed of market place. We have designed a platform that is unlike any other. We are going to make accessible the gamut of consumer goods available in one comprehensive website. This will be done in such a way that you can compare each item, making sure that every purchase is at the best possible price.
How does VMH make money?
* The VMH marketplace makes money by receiving a percentage (known as a transaction fee) of the product sold as well as a portion of the shipping and handling fees.
* Fees are controlled by VMH processing which handles all buyer/seller transactions and sends revenues collected minus these transaction fees to our merchant partners.
VMH currently is partnered, or has pending agreements, with these major retailers:
* WWW.OVERSTOCK.COM
* WWW.SHOP.COM (Bill Gates - Founding Investor)
* WWW.WALMART.COM
* WWW.CAIMAN.COM (Amazon's largest retailer)
Iam all for it... hehehehe
Perceived pros and cons of a "takeover" differ from case to case but still there are a few worth mentioning.
Pros:
1. Increase in sales/revenues (e.g. Procter & Gamble takeover of Gillette)
2. Venture into new businesses and markets
3. Profitability of target company
4. Increase market share
5. Decrease competition (from the perspective of the acquiring company)
6. Reduction of overcapacity in the industry
7. Enlarge brand portfolio (e.g. L'Oréal's takeover of Bodyshop)
Cons:
1. Reduced competition and choice for consumers in oligopoly markets
2. Likelihood of price increases and job cuts
3. Cultural integration/conflict with new management
4. Hidden liabilities of target entity.
New position! Nice Takeover ...

Hi Goat31
Nice on being one of the privileged heheh
If your going to the meeting..... several others here are as well.
So very true!
Man From ...at .50 the buy out value would be over $500m
A purchase price of that sort isnt to out there... half.com sold for $350m to ebay and then there is youtube and google $1.65 billion...examples
The difference is we haven't launched and have no biz history.
If the tech is as wild as has been mentioned by those who have already had a taste of its potential .. then why not.
Everything is speculation and although I can not attend the share holders meeting, I cant wait to learn from those who do !!!

While the old adage “you can’t take it with you” remains the ultimate truism, Clint Mytych is betting that more and more people – especially rapidly aging “Me Generation” Baby Boomers - will want to leave a little more of their legacy behind. With 62% of Americans saying they expect to prefer personalization of their funerals when their time comes (according to a National Funeral Directors Association [NFDA] study), Mytych, age 26, is the unlikely young pioneer of a dramatic new industry approach: licensed brand funeral products. Mytych’s idea was to design an entirely new line of urns and caskets from the ground up. They would feature popular and meaningful licensed brand logos, applied in a similar way to how they are employed on autos, home furnishings and sporting equipment. The approach is revolutionizing the funeral
industry. At the 2006 NFDA Expo in Philadelphia last October, Mytych and his management team showcased the first, licensed-image funeral products. To many a surprised attendee, these included urns and caskets featuring Major League Baseball®, Precious Moments™ and the Vatican Library Collection™, as well as pet urns featuring the American Kennel
Club™.
The attention was instantaneous. From reporters calling Mytych on the show floor for interviews to distributors and funeral homes fi lling the voicemail in the Michigan office requesting materials, it seemed that he had struck a nerve. “It may not be PC to say in a funeral publication, but my goal was not to change the funeral industry, per se, but rather to find an industry where licensing had yet to be applied,” said Mytych. “After a ton of research, we isolated the funeral industry as one of the last frontiers for marketing innovation – a business virtually unchanged for centuries.” According to Beth Cooper, vice president of P&J Cooper Supply of Barrington, NJ, Mytych had tapped into a mother load of potential...........

"A Celebration In Honor of All Mothers"
The Story of Mother's Day
The earliest Mother's Day celebrations can be traced back to the spring celebrations of ancient Greece in honor of Rhea, the Mother of the Gods. During the 1600's, England celebrated a day called "Mothering Sunday". Celebrated on the 4th Sunday of Lent (the 40 day period leading up to Easter*), "Mothering Sunday" honored the mothers of England.
*(For more information on Lent/Easter check out - Easter on the Net)
During this time many of the England's poor worked as servants for the wealthy. As most jobs were located far from their homes, the servants would live at the houses of their employers. On Mothering Sunday the servants would have the day off and were encouraged to return home and spend the day with their mothers. A special cake, called the mothering cake, was often brought along to provide a festive touch.
As Christianity spread throughout Europe the celebration changed to honor the "Mother Church" - the spiritual power that gave them life and protected them from harm. Over time the church festival blended with the Mothering Sunday celebration . People began honoring their mothers as well as the church.
In the United States Mother's Day was first suggested in 1872 by Julia Ward Howe (who wrote the words to the Battle hymn of the Republic) as a day dedicated to peace. Ms. Howe would hold organized Mother's Day meetings in Boston, Mass ever year.
In 1907 Ana Jarvis, from Philadelphia, began a campaign to establish a national Mother's Day. Ms. Jarvis persuaded her mother's church in Grafton, West Virginia to celebrate Mother's Day on the second anniversary of her mother's death, the 2nd Sunday of May. By the next year Mother's Day was also celebrated in Philadelphia.
Ms. Jarvis and her supporters began to write to ministers, businessman, and politicians in their quest to establish a national Mother's Day. It was successful as by 1911 Mother's Day was celebrated in almost every state. President Woodrow Wilson, in 1914, made the official announcement proclaiming Mother's Day as a national holiday that was to be held each year on the 2nd Sunday of May.
