Pending News Release in the Works?
Nexteaf has consistently held Press Releases almost every month for a very long time. It's actually unusual when they don't. We haven't received any updates since March 2nd. I'm thinking something MAJOR is brewing. Just a hunch. Let's face it, our day is coming. At what point do you have so many competitive Patents and cutting edge Tech that you are not noticed as a potential threat to the Big Players and the only logical solution is to be bought out?
Whoa, up 20% this morning!
Up 20% on only 600 shares traded. Looks like shares are being held tightly now. I'm thinking sooner or later this is going to end up as a buyout from one of the Big Players. It only makes sense. The technology and Patents here are unrivalled. We've got to worth at least a Billion $.
Up ANOTHER 55% today. Whoa!!!!
Someone in the know knows that something big is in the works.
Up ANOTHER 23% today. Something Brewing!!!
Up 24% today! Something in the works?
Huge volume with no news. Someone knows something (like us !). Good times ahead, I can feel it !!!
Soooo, is this on a death spiral? I've lost 45% since getting into this on news of the JV with BCII.
When on God's green earth is this Pig going to fly?
Ditto, I got royally screwed on that last RS as well. It only tanked after that all the way down to where we are now. Cautiously (foolishly?) optimistic here..
As much as I appreciate the update and I do, there was not one word mentioned concerning the financial audits that were supposed to be done by the end of the third quarter, September 30, 2021, nor any insight as to when we'll be trading again.
I'm glad to learn that sales are up and I do think marketing Gold'nGRO to the Nursery trade is a GREAT idea. However, the Rock Clean update seems to be just another "we're going to try this and test that to see if a committee should be formed and a report submitted to once again test this and try that to see if a feasibility study should be done". My God, this has been going on for years. What ever happened to applying for all the government money free for the taking to address the lack of Critical Raw Materials in our country? Please, stop dragging your feet Dr. Whitney and Co. Thirty years of due diligence and we're still a $5M company in one location.
If you think I'm being too harsh, just go to the home page on our website and read all the press releases from 2000 to now. like the one dated 11/11,2020 that "reported today that it has expanded its management team by appointing Declan Costelloe to the position of Vice President Corporate Development. Mr. Costelloe is an Executive with significant experience in Corporate Finance and Strategic Development. "He will develop and manage strategic relationships in the financial community to improve Itronics ability to obtain financing and expand financial market exposure," said Dr. John Whitney, Itronics President. What ever happened to him?
Oh, and here's my favorite, dated 08/21/2021 that stated "The Company is targeting to have the audits completed by the end of the third quarter, September 30, 2021" In the same press release under "About Itronics" it states "The Company's growth forecast centers upon its 10-year business plan designed to integrate its Zero Waste Energy Saving Technologies and to grow annual sales from $2 million in 2019, to $100 million in 2025" Well, looks like we're really gonna have to giddy up and go to meet this lofty target.
Look, what we're doing here is vacillating, which means being indecisive. Lots of talk about great technology and unbelievable opportunities, but at the end of the day, the years just keep going on and on and on without any tangible changes. Dr. Whitney is a very smart man, but he does not have the driving force needed to fully exploit and market his achievements to take this company to where it should already be. If it were so, we would already be there by now. The reality is when you hold something too tightly, not only do you hold it back, but you risk killing it. At 74, Dr. Whitney is very comfortable with the status que, just going along day by day keeping everything just as it is. Unfortunately, I anticipate that nothing is going to change here until there is a change. A BIG change! GLTA
A-Trade claims 188K traded today with 413K Shares Outstanding. Is that right? Are there only 413K OS? If so, that would mean almost half traded today. That doesn't seem right. Also claims 10 day average is 374K. Thoughts?
It's been over 1 1/2 YEARS since trading was halted. In this time, us shareholders have had our funds frozen. We've been unable to use them to profit in other areas while management has dragged their feet in simply meeting SEC's new rule (Sept. 28, 2021) for transparency. Despite knowing well in advance what was required, they chose NOT to take the initiative to meet the requirements, but rather decided (?) to take the reactive approach.
These requirements could have easily been met by now, trading resumed and our funds become available to keep here or invest elsewhere at OUR discretion. The hard reality is that after being in business for over thirty years and despite their technological patents (?), Mr. Whitney simply didn't have the funds to pay for the audits and keep the doors open at the same time.
I'm sure others here (along with myself) have been approached privately by HR and offered to invest their funds through a private placement. I considered this, but chose not to based on the company's history of repeated lack of transparency, communication and (in my opinion) mismanagement of funds and resources. I've already been burned on one R/S. I'm sure there were others in the past thirty plus years, with potentially others going forward.
For the sake of all who have invested in this company through the open market and ESPECIALLY those who have invested through a private placement, I implore you to reach out to the company and ask:
1) Are any of the so called company's intellectual properties currently legally protected?
2) In whos name are all of these intellectual properties and patents in? Itronics or Dr. Whitney?
3) Upon Dr. Whitney's demise, who will own these intellectual properties, patents and company's assets?
4) Are there any legal personal (Wills) or corporate documents that address the above and what do they say?
5) And here's a BIG one. Is there anything in writing to address who will assume the management role upon Mr. Whitney's demise?
These are some MAJOR concerns of mine and they should be for you as well. At this point in time, there's nothing I'm aware of that addresses any of these concerns. And they are BIG transparency concerns.
Just to be clear, like you, my funds are tied up here. Like you I want this (our?) company to succeed and prosper as it should (after thirty years). BUT, these concerns need to be addressed. At 74 years of age, Dr. Whitney needs to make sure that his and OUR legal affairs are in order.
This is a tough one as there isn't a whole lot of value to it presently. The value is in the future. It's a matter of getting from here to there, which will take an undetermined amount of time and money. Dilution is always on the table. It's just so dang hard to find any companies anymore that are actually turning a profit.
Paul Pedersen is the CEO of Nextleaf Solutions and based on my calculations owns a little more than 5% of the outstanding shares. Even at these prices that comes to $250K. He definitely has a real financial stake in the company's future success. A very positive sign. I'll continue to buy, although the price may continue to drop to as low as .015 before bottoming out, which would put us at a ridiculously low valuation of $2.1 Mil. We shall see.
Thanks for sharing that info.
Hmm, been six months since the last post. Thought I'd check in and see who else might be with me and holding onto the dream? Company valuation is now down to $5M. Certainly the real estate, machinery and patents have to be worth more than that. Am I missing something here? I keep adding as it keeps dropping. Started out at .20 and now averaged down to .07 and still adding.
I'm well aware most companies on these exchanges never go anywhere and I also know your not supposed to fall in love with the company, but in my 20+ years of dabbling in the market, this one has all the signs of actually making it big (IMO), either on their own or through an acquisition. I've seen so many casualties along the way of folks claiming and wishing that the company they had stock in was going to make them millionaires or even a bazillionaires, only to see their dreams shattered. That said, last year was profitable (I believe the first) which says a lot! The key here (as with any company) is to be profitable, increasing market share and be debt free. So far it looks like we've got two out of three covered. I'm really, really hoping that management can resist the urge to dilute, now that we've gotten to where we are, and put their focus on profitability (sell, sell, sell).
By the way, does anyone know if anyone in management has been investing in the company using their own funds, other than the stock they've been awarding themselves? That would be an encouraging sign, (in my opinion), but I haven't seen anything in their filings to indicate they have. Maybe I missed it?
I'd sure appreciate some input if anyone else sees things differently(or the same). Just chime in and let's have a discussion.
I see Ameritrade deleted the latest email that BCII had posted in the October concerning their plan of partnering with someone by the end of 2022 and going live in the first quarter of 2023. I do NOT view this as a good sign. When are these people going to get their chit in order?
Still on Yahoo though:

It was over a YEAR ago when Itronics went out of compliance because of their complete negligence and as a result, trading was HALTED. Now they have a whole year of incompetence under their belt by NOT following through and getting us back to trading. Mr. Magoo (that's Mr. Whitney) has done it again. When in the World is this 30+ year old company going to be run by someone else with REAL business skills and drive, rather than the same aging Scientific Researcher that can't seem to get out of the Lab? We all need to just wake up here and see that this is broke and the only way it's ever going to be different is someone (ELSE) fixes it. That is, markets the hell out it. Enough!
I've made a few dollars on this over the years, but got royally screwed when a few years back they did a RS, something like 100 to 1, or maybe it was a 1000 to 1. Ether way, as I remember it the pre RS price was like .0055 and after it was like .55. Anyway, the price has only gone down from there with a few spikes along the way for the few fortunate folks who know when to sell and then buy back in again when it tanks. Nils? No comment. I'll let his previous treatment of Share Holders speak for itself. I'm no different than anyone else who has had a dream of making serious bank here, but so far there's only one that I know of that's succeeded and he's the one making all the (empty?) promises. GLTA
It sure would be nice to actually read some positive news for a change instead of daily volume and price movement. This is like watching paint dry.
So, it's a loan then? I'd be shocked if the loan wasn't somehow backed with the right of the lender do demand shares in payment in the event of default. That said, I've actually cancelled my sell order at .70 and depending on what the opening price is, may purchase more as a see a glimmer of hope that this might actually (finally) pan out.
I can't believe it's been seven MONTHS since anyone posted here (me). Is there anyone else here or am I the lone sheep?
Someone help me out, am I not seeing something? The Stock price is the lowest it's EVER been, while at the same time business is the BEST it's ever been. Surely Nextleaf has more assets than its 6.4 Mil US value according to TD Ameritrade?
Is there some kind of hidden fraud, embezzling scheme or scandal going on that I don't know about or is this just maybe one of the most under rated, overlooked values out there? Everything seems legit compared to so MANY other scam stocks I've come across over the 30 plus years I've been doing this.
Call me a fool, but I keep buying as this keeps tanking. My hope (anticipation) is at some point all of these patents will be worth big bucks to someone, right? I mean certainly Nextleaf has to be on someone's buyout radar?
I'm looking forward to hearing all of your thoughts on this.
Same here. A LOT is going on behind the scenes. BUT, what I want to know is profit margin, NOT sales numbers. I'm seriously concerned that they are losing more than they're making. Expansion is all well and fine, but if you can't make a profit after this many years, a bigger company that still can't make a profit is not going to catapult us onto the higher exchanges and lift the stock price to fulfill all our dreams. I'm eager to see updated financials as I believe they will prove my concerns. All that said, let's just say I hope I'm wrong. Being wrong isn't always a bad thing.
Um, I'm curious how this is even possible with trading of these shares restricted?
I was burned as well in the last RS. It's only tanked and tanked since then because Niles keeps diluting and diluting it until he does another RS and then starts the process all over again. Hey, just saying from personal experience here. Do your own DD.
I sure wish ITRO management would hurry up and file their financials and get this back to trading. I want to buy all I can while the price is low. As I remember from one of their press releases, their goal was to have the financials updated by September of LAST year. Ugh!
I don't necessarily disagree. It should be higher than it is, BUT they keep diluting. I don't know where Nils is getting his .49 EPS. As best as I can figure, with the current Shares Outstanding it should be at .35
That said, I, along with many others took a serious hit on the last RS. If Nils continues to print shares it's just going to offset any gains. I'm a sucker and want to believe. We shall see.
Thanks for the update and for dropping them suggestions whenever you call. There is Sooooo much opportunity available and they're (we're) sitting on a gold mine. BUT, they need to work it, otherwise it will all become a missed opportunity.
Unfortunately not so, from the latest K8:
Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 13, 2022, the board of directors resolved to remove Harry Timmons as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Sobolewski as the Company’s Co-Chief Operating Officer, and Donald R. Keer as the Company’s Co-Chief Operating Officer effective immediately.

Funny you should post that. I was just going to ask if everyone here is sick of looking at their combined ITRO share value in pennies yet? I would like to think that they're still in business and moving forward, but the silence is deafening.
Below is a post of mine from the beginning of January:
"Yes, I reached out to the company a few weeks ago to confirm they were still in business and what the status was on the financials. I was told they're still in business and working on getting the financials up to date as soon as possible to resume trading. What else were they going to say? Well, at least the lights are still on."
Anyone else have any info?
NOT feeling the Love here!

Social Justice Committee and giving away more shares to Directors and Officers as compensation on Valentine's Day because they don't have the revenue to compensate them otherwise does not give me warm fuzzies.
Neither of these actions are going to lead to more Revenue, let alone profits. It's just more dilution and patting themselves on the back, period.
98 % of the discussion was about Crypto Currency and Blockchain. %2 was about Gold and absolutely ZERO about Brookmount. So, what was the point of this again?
What a joke!!!

If I could get this at .01, I'd be buying $10K as well!
Excellent !!!
"Mr. Whitney is a brilliant scientist who doesn't
know how to manage a company properly, to the
detriment of all who own Shares."
I agree and have said the same several times on this board in the past. Being extremely smart in one area doesn't necessarily qualify one to be proficient in other areas, such as Marketing and Management. All too often extremely intelligent people just don't have the capacity to delegate or relinquish control. And so, they will hold it so near and dear tight and tightly to themselves that they kill it.

Yes, I totally agree. I'm starting to get a fair amount invested here and the dip took me by surprise. My account value took a serious hit.
I did find the reason for the dip. They announced today that they're going to have a $3 Million offering at .20 Canadian (about .016 US), which would account for the sudden price adjustment.
Conference call today to explain if you're interested. I'm registered and will be listening to learn what is going on / what the plan is.

Wow! What's up with the 20% drop this morning?
Yes, complete lack of communication from management.

From what I read in this, there's nothing left. Let me know if you know any differently.
So... does anyone have any additional information on RD OF VOLUSIA, LLC that now owns all our former Rare Earth assets? I see they are in Daytona Beach, but have not been able to determine what exactly they do. I guess I'm just curious if there is any way possible going forward to invest (re-invest) into this opportunity. What a shame SRSR screwed everyone. Imagine owning what they (we) had only to give it away. Ugh!!!
