28% so far today so, yes, I would say it is going somewhere :)
This is a company that is executing in spite of crazy regulations. The only thing holding it back is limitation on institutional buying. Only limited by the boughs schedule1 designation in the US. The instant that is removed this stock will do very well imo. American heavy handedness is being recognized for what it is. I am here, collecting when I can. This and other cos stuck in the same mire. Cannabis offers incredible opportunity for the patient
Keylimeade :)
Always a great time when @goodstuffbevco 100 mg Key Limeade comes off the line

Nope. There will be no need to. This will fly. I am greatful for the early Holiday gift :)

I like to back companies that do what they say they will
Royal Emerald Pharmaceuticals is a #California-based U.S. DEA & FDA-registered manufacturer/supplier of non-addictive #cannabis products being developed for medical, scientific & research purposes. We're extremely proud to be partnering with them!#biotech https://t.co/idppATIy9E

And nobody here will know because the chart associated with this stock is not here.
They have been successfully treating elders in nursing homes in Israel for many years. The prohibition of cannabis is just so bogus
Exactly! There is no reason for this plant to be on the schedule at all except for malicious reasons. It is very well documented and the knowledge of their lie about it being dangerous is now mainstream. Legalization in Canada was just the appetizer. I have been waiting 4 years for this.
I have been here for a while and I think these guys have a real shot. Giving people what they want is always a good idea. California is as big by itself as the whole country of Canada but just like the USA as a whole, California is a patchwork. The well funded msos have avoided the state because they do not want competition from the legacy market they have opted for an LP style land grab instead. I think that will be shown to be a bad move. There is plenty of grow room in California and I like that they are licensing to gain exposure across the country and keeping their quality premium and affordable. This is one of the few US companies I like and have held shares of through the downturn while averaging down. They say they will do something then they do it. A refreshing change in this industry.
They purposefully went in to businesses with high barriers to entry. I have been buying this for years. I have seen them do everything they said they would
Because it is being shorted badly. I am happy I will have more buying opportunities.
I am holding and buying more. Imo it is the best play in Canada atm. They are gaining market share and offering new products while the “big” names are slipping. I was considering an exit in the summer but they renegotiated with their lenders who accepted a deal with a price higher than market at the time. It is not possible to apply the same metrics to an emerging market as to a mature one. I have averaged down and honestly think this has a shot at success. Their medical line is expanding and divy sells well according to my local dispensary. Not all my picks are going to make it but I do think this one has a shot.
My medical “duder” Dad gets his on his company benefits package can’t beat that deal lol!
It is not possible to check the price of canopy growth on a Roundhill etf chart…. Ihub is broken. Please do not rely on anything you see here for decisions re your future.
The Canadian government is doing its review if the rollout. The window for the public to give feedback is open for another month. You have been very vocal about the ills of the industry as it stands. This is our opportunity to take all of the research gathered over these few years and present them to the people who can make the changes. This is an excellent recording of very smart people who have been in the space and they point out several issues (we know what they are but for the ones in the back) An adjustment of taxes to a fair levey is required, certainly release if people from prison for non violent activities, farm gate sales for small producers and inclusion of indigenous and women and poc in a real way and increase the amount of thc per package. These are all the things that have been impediments and will begin to address the most glaring of issues. This is the time for every person who has an investment in the space, who is a patient, owns a storefront or is a rec user to speak truth to power. To make a clear case for the changes that will take the industry to live up to its incredible potential. This is not the time to be prickly and territorial. Tell your friends. Here is the twitter space I would also recommend joining NORML Canada. These folks have been doing great work

Big volume the last few days. I think the covering has begun. I recall this was one of the stocks the meme guy had noted. I think IDEX will benefit from the green push. I am happy to invest in a better future.
My hope is that americans have noticed that global warming is real, stop believing those who will burn the planet just to make a money and will destroy democracy before they give up one dollar of oil $. This is the beginning of a new era and IDEX is well positioned.
As soon as shorts are forced to cover there should be no problem staying above $1
They care about money. This is alcohol 2.0
He was right. Organized crime hates having the govt as competition. They lose their huge margins for risk taking and now the products are cheaper, better, tested, and available everywhere for anyone with ID that shows they are over 19. True gardeners can still grow their own and the good ones have micro grows. There is a long way to go for sure but the industry is only 4 years old lol! I am so lucky to live here! Still out of Canopy till I see what Constellation is up to
It worked out very well for me, I traded it for a couple of years, sold it when it went up and bought back when it dipped. It did not turn out to be the long hold I was hoping for I knew it was potentially a front for big tobacco I saw it with other companies. I hope they treat Joe well. Things are always changing. Why would I hold a company at this price when I can sell it now and purchase stock in a company that has been continually improving their Canadian products in the medical and rec market and as of December GM and other UNIFOR union members get it on their benefits plan? .055 cdn per share. They have done what they said they would, I and family members use their products and see continued progress. Unlike the shuck n jive show we saw earlier that said all the right things and did not follow through. 35million potential customers with no barriers to between provinces is good for me. I stay nimble. Might be back if I see something wonderful here but for now, I see opportunity elsewhere. It really is like the wild west. Months of research for a 1 minute trade :) This is such a fun game tho :) I wish you well!! I am not going to renew my paid subscription for Ihub again. Very unhappy with the new format. They have deleted many charts I relied on and I do not reward bad behaviour. I will still be around just not as a paid subscription. I am not buying much in the way of US canna just brands likely to thrive and 1 mso just in case. I see a lot of pain ahead for the industry darlings that have had to build everything in each state like individual countries. I am sure some will be okay long term but there are better opportunities atm. The Canadian experience gave excellent lessons
Selling off my TAAT today. In light of the change in the news for the cannabis industry my money will be more useful elsewhere. If PM builds it up enough to be a takeover I might buy the parent company. I do not see them doing anything other than replacing their own products so That is probably unlikely. Out with the old an in with the new. Not every company is a winner and being backed by the “big guys” does not usually serve anyone but the big guys lol! I wish the best of luck to anyone still here
Why isn't there a chart for half of the companies since the change of the ihub platform? It sucks now I am really disappointed with ihub now. I got great info and was able to get great insights from other users till that change. I will not be renewing my paid participation after this year. I will not pay to be disappointed lol!
The chart is still wrong. It is an etf not canopy growth very misleading and completely useless
Good overview of the current state of affairs. Do you have info for the collaboration of legacy folks? Are they working together to counter the corporate groups? They have had enough time to get something together and I have not been able to find anything coordinated, honestly nothing really other than your documentation of how it is going. You have done a good job on that. Anybody leading a countering movement? I have not seem much from Kirk in that area but to be fair he and the others like Dana have been at it so long they must be exhausted. A coordinated, organized response is the only thing that will shift the narrative. I like the sentiment raised, always have. Coordination and a group response can turn it. I have not seen the legacy folks work together yet. Happy to help out an actual counter movement. Have been unable to get anyone I know to involve themselves in any way. Lots of complaints about “should” but no action to back it up. If they are not interested in cooperating with each other they will not get what they are looking for. Are they supporting the green party since they have adopted a stance that aligns with what they want?
This is why I chose ideanomics in the first place. Their multi pronged biz. They get a fee from charging, they get interest from loaning money to groups to buy fleets and they get money from the sale of WAVE, Energica, Solectrac and other projects and they are global.
https://www.ccjdigital.com/alternative-power/battery-electric/article/15296775/wireless-truck-charging-cheaper-and-safer-than-a-plug
That has been my strategy too. My only regret is that I do not have more cash to put into it. It is one of my largest holdings and it is a better company now than it was when I bought it at a much higher price.
Why is the wrong chart on this board? It is for Canopy Growth Corp. not some etf. This is very misleading to anyone new and mods need to change it. If the ticker WEED is now something else on the canadian exchange then it needs to be switched to CGC and stop making people think this is $10 a share
It is easy to get wrapped around the axle but this industry is not the usual pump n dump mining stock that is usually otc. I am holding here and if I get a real life windfall I might but more. It would not be to average down, it would be to accumulate shares in a company that is early and growing in spite of incredible headwinds. Ask yourself this, if it was not against the bogus US rules what would this business look like? If banks, hedgefunds, and institutions were able to touch this company what would it look like? They are a company that is better now than it was when I first bought it. They have taken advantage of opportunities to buy assets that support their business and they have pivoted to a progressive market instead of staying in the US under their backward regulations. I am not saying this is the company to put all your money in tho I think you could do worse. The situation is very fluid so the wise thing to do would be diversify in the space. This company is changing as it needs to, it is getting all of the licensing in order and they are positioning the organization to thrive when regulators get off their duffs. I think a dollar invested here will return more to me than a dollar invested in tesla. We are early in a company that is legally selling a product that is so beneficial to so many people they have been willing to risk prison to get it. The rules in the USA are so burdensome that this company and many others outside the US have the potential to grow enormously in spite of the americans. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for anyone who recognizes what we have here. It sucks to wait. I get it. But it has been a hundred years to get this far. Using that reference, things have hustled along rather quickly. The frustration of the visionary is you have to wait for the world to catch up. When this hits and hits big. Do not forget about the gardeners that built this business that are in jail for a plant that heals many and has never caused an overdose death in all recorded history. America is making noises (again/still) about legalizing yet thoughtful countries are not waiting for permission, they are rolling out legalization in a controlled way. I am not sure most people have a clue about the opportunity that is staring them in the face. As a retail investor it is the chance of a lifetime. Diversify across the sector because you never know who the coca cola of weed will be. You know when one hits big that is all you need
Time to stop pretending people who wear shiny hats and have fat bank accounts are somehow special. This is a great time to for all to break with the crown and start a whole new era…. Where Liz’s kids all get jobs.
Why is the WEED ticker now listed as an etf? So many shenanigans in this space lol!
I am the opposite of you :) I have Columbia care because it is inexpensive and will be part of the biggest MSO when it merges with Cresco. I AM in Cali companies lol but I want brands not grows. The grow will probably end up off shore or as a crop like corn. I like Lowell even more now they have their rolling machine. And Tinley because they have bottling and that is the way people will use cannabis. Cali sober is a thing! Folks don't drink alcohol but will drink infused beverages instead. I have yet to find an indoor grower that makes great weed and is public. It may never be the case but for now I want brands. Inside and outside the USA. Canada is starting to maybe be decent. Still will not touch the big names but there are jewels hiding in the dirt. I can wait, this is going to be epic!

They can grow their own, it is like booze, you can brew your own beer, you just can not sell it. Cannabis is being offered on GM, Ford and Chrysler’s benefit plan so it is a thousand times better than before. They will get rid of illegal grows. Get a license like everybody else does and you are good. They offer micro grow and are talking about farmgate. There are some who just do not want to follow any rules. Those are the guys who will sell bud with spider mites and talk about how “frosty” it is ha ha. If you are in one of the backward provinces ( I think there are only 2 vote better next time
Your vote does matter, they know it does so they try to convince you it is useless. The CONs want to control everything and if we we let them they will. I love being able to walk a couple of blocks and get whatever I want. Why anyone would vote conservative the is not rich is beyond me. But Ontario let Ford back in so I do not know what goes on in people’s heads
They will have the exact problems the big Canadian lps have. They bought far too much grow space and did not have a clue how to grow at scale. Cannabis is a commodity. It will be in the brands that the money is made that is why I am here for now. If the US continues to trip over its own feet I will get out of all US cannabis and invest in countries that are actually interested in giving their population medicine that heals them and keeps them out of hospitals. I do not hold any of the msos because they will have to get rid of a lot of operations they got just because of the interstate restrictions. Imagine if coca cola had to grow its own sugar cane and process it start to finish in each state? That is exactly what the bogus rules in the US make companies do! Its nuts! And people think that is fine….
It shows how truly broken the american system is when it is still listed as schedule 1 when it should not be on the schedule at all. There has never been an overdose death from cannabis and it is effective in treating many illnesses. These are facts. Yet it is such a great way to keep people down the ruse continues. The only way it was legalized here was because patients sued the govt and won.
De criminalizing by taking it off schedule 1 stops all of the nonsense. Instantly gets rid of black market, dealing in cash, and transport over state lines. The only reason it is not sold by the bushel like every other commodity is the US govt’s choice to incarcerate people over a benign plant while thieves walk free.. free the gardeners, put the gop that enabled or turned a blind eye to trump’s abuse of power in jail & everybody is happy!
As the laws in the US stand today. Any plant touching company is legally barred from listing on an american exchange. I guess you can call a complete overhaul of the US legal system paperwork. But it is out of the company’s hands. Voting for progressive candidates and telling them you want weed legal would help :)
