Grow numbers-pitiful...2 underperforming stores...flat revenues...smaller harvests according to dwindling inventory... nah... I wouldn't hold my breath for this POS to turn around
re:"45.3% increase in GROSS PROFITS?"Easy-Did you catch one quarter 44.9% decrease in Inventory?
Guess you missed that piece of the puzzle in your post. Makes all of the other answers easy also.
re:"And as usual, I was 100% right" ROTFLAMAO!!! 33% right is more accurate if you count all of the days you predicted this report. One should always be sure to wash the green paint off of ones hands before slapping oneself on the back.
Nothing was 'left out'. I provided a link to the report which includes both facts and story.
Facts include a pending lawsuit, which includes; "breach of contract", and "state racketeering and fraud" charges that have been filed against KAYS, it's shady CEO Craig Frank, and William David Jones a career criminal consultant previously convicted on multiple counts of fraud.
The STORY part is Craig and Daves defensive STORY about how they are wrongly accused and plan on filing a countersuit if the judge doesn't believe their story.
It's a fact that the lawsuit has been filed. The story until acted upon, i.e. countersuit filed or motion dismissed, is just a story of possibilities.
Here's another story KAYS loses lawsuit of over1.7 million dollars paid for with shareholders dollars and goes on to start another SCAM!
Btw, pretty funny how W David Jones name always appears with the word fraud in the same sentence.
Here's some KAYS news for y'all:
KAYS Lawsuit and disappointing financials finally arrived.
Remember Dan Goldin-"Executive" consultant who was waving the flag for KAYS on this board a few months ago.
Well, here he has shown up again with a shift in perspective. Looks like he's changed his tune about this POS not being a SCAM after all. LOL
Here come the lawsuits! Kudos to Hopscotch2, who outed W. Dave Jones on this board and was spot on in his prediction of this day.
Agreed, kind of, sooner or later facts will start to show when financials finally arrive.
KAYS extension is due today, but if the timing of last 10k is any indication of how long it will take to see numbers we might be waiting for another month or more.
Thought it was last Friday:

Or was it the Monday before last Friday:
My convenience stores are located in Oregon and produce more revenue per shop than KAYS pot shops ever have. Not a good sign in my opinion. My neighbor in Tigard owns a pot shop in Portland not far from Kaya Shack on Hawthorne and makes more at his one shop than both Kaya Shacks combined.
Also not a good sign.
KayaBuddies, yet another failed concept, albeit a weak 'idea' to begin with.
Too bad that 700% increase still left KAYS making 50% less revenue per store than an average mom and pop shop in Oregon for that same time. It's comical how the Shady CEO spins the numbers to make failure look like success.
Better hope for another 700% increase In the next financial so KAYS can finally catch up.
I highly doubt it though... Next...
On that we can agree... Next...
Indeed, 700% increase is nonsense, I bet KAYS hasn't even had a 100% increase let alone 200.%.
As poorly as stores 1&2 perform they would need to open 2 more stores to have increased 100%. LOL

Agreed, KAYS promoters have no real results to show!
Next financial will undoubtedly be full of more old photos, stock photos,"news", "updates", and cotton candy statement spins on disappointing numbers.
But what we won't see are proofs of anything actually new happening, No store openings [with less than a month away from KAYS statement that new stores would be open]
And no building permits have been issued yet so ..... Also, I expect there'll be no production numbers, but there'll be plenty of "updates" of increase and improvement.
INVESTORS BEWARE!!! of the steady stream of "NEWS" and "UPDATES" from this consistently underachieved SCAM!

“Starbucks of Marijuana” LMAO!!! Hard to believe, KAYS own menu selections vary greatly from their two underperforming stores and it would appear that they no longer have any of the strains listed on their homepage anymore.
Maybe not growing their own anymore?
Isn't Starbucks known for its Consistency shop to shop same selections and quality.
KAYS PICS- Meh. Superstore-LMAO!! Kay Shacks Salem Location touts itself as KAYS Superstore yet its flagship location in Portland offers almost twice as many strains on their menu.
Salem "Superstore" menu- only 14 strains and only 3 with over 20% THC:
https://weedmaps.com/dispensaries/kaya-shack-salem
Portland's smaller store menu has twice as many strains with only 9 over 20% THC:
https://weedmaps.com/dispensaries/kaya-shack
Of even greater interest when it comes to comparisons with the competition in Oregon however is looking nearby Kaya Shacks "Superstore" to see that the idea that Kaya Shack is keeping up, even as an average store is just ludicrous.
This privately owned store with better prices just up the road from Kaya Shacks "Superstore" offers almost 60 strains with 22 strains over 20% THC:
http://tlccanna.com/menu/
And this is what a "Superstore" in Oregon should look like:
http://tlccanna.com/about/
Also close by this shop offers better prices and 56 strains:
http://theholisticchoice.org/menu/
And 47 strains just around the corner:

Explain to me why expanding in Salem is a good thing for KAYS when their smaller Portland store seems set up to bedmore competitive

With KAYS quarter1 revenues 50% less than an average shop in Oregon, KAYS had better have another 700% increase in sales 2nd quarter just to catch up with mom and pop shops in the state.
I highly doubt that will be the case.

Portland KAYA Shack with it's 28 strains doesn't fare much better when looking at the competition either.
This shop just a couple miles from the Kaya Shack offers over 60 strains and has another location in Washington State:
http://kaleafa.com/menus/store/kaleafa-woodstock-store/
This shop has two locations, over 50 strains and looks much nicer than Kaya Shack. They also point out the 17 strains grown in house on their menu and what farms the others are from:
http://fivezerotrees.com/menu-west/
And over 80 strains are offered just up the road here:

What's that have todo with KAYS falling behind the competition in Oregon?
Your reply doesn't seem to be relevant to my post so here it is again in case you didn't fully understand it before:

Please post the 2nd quarter sales results for $KAYS then... TIA...
With KAYS revenues for 1st quarter at 50% less than an average store in Oregon and the stores surrounding the Kaya Shell "Superstore" offering up to 4 times more variety, better prices, and higher THC it makes sense that their financials continue to disappoint.

Seems to be easy enough for competitors who opened after KAYS did. More than a few companies have 3, 4, and even 5 stores producing 50% more revenue per store than KAYS in the first quarter of this year.
KAYS doesn't need more excuses, they need results. Better numbers, more OPEN stores, better marketing presence of which they currently have nearly none, better non criminal consultants perhaps.
This company is both a SCAM and a joke.
Hey thanks for showing us all the past pr statements that KAYS has made over the last two years[sarcasm]
Some results would be nice though. Maybe stores opening when KAYS repeatedly says they will or revenue numbers that actually reflect a warehouse grow and 2 pot shops instead of numbers that look disappointing for 2 small convenience stores.
I gues pumped up PRs TRUMP results or substance when selling stock is your actual business though.
INVESTORS BEWARE!!!![
What IF?
Shady Craig announced a conference call to update shareholders twice in 8k reports and twice no show no reschedule.
"On April 27, 2016, KAYS issued a press release updating stockholders on the filing status of its delayed Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2015 and announcing that it would hold an investors conference call within one business day of the filing of the 2015 Annual report on Form 10-K to review 2015 results of operations and the impact of legal recreational marijuana sales on operations, as well as to update stockholders and the investment community on planned business expansion and other matters. The call is currently scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM EST"

"On May 4, 2016, KAYS issued a press release advising stockholders that as it had not yet filed its delayed Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2015, it would reschedule its previously announced May 4, 2016 investors’ conference call once the filing was completed. A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report."

Shady Craig announced store #3 'opening soon' over a year ago and still no news or updates and no new store.
Shady Craig announced stores #3 and #4 'opening in summer of 2016'. Still no building permits, no updates, no news, and no stores with summers end 1 month away.
Shady Craig filed an 8k 5 days ago stating the quarterly report would be filed in 5 days. No report. No surprise there. Last filing at 10k report was over 40 days late
Conductor Shady Craig Says: ALLLLL ABOARD the 'KAYS EXPRESS' non stop SCAM to Next Reverse Merger/Next Big Thing.
Don't forget your bags when you get to the last stop, you're gonna need 'em to carry all that worthless paper to the recycling center.
re:"Volume is decreasing compared to a few day ago" As is the share price. 5's soon if report continues to be later than late and maybe 4's if financial don't impress, which is most likely.

KAYS can't even keep up with the competition. 50% less revenue than average competitor shop in the state according to KAYS financials, tax revenue reports from state, and total number of licensed shops for first quarter.
re:"Recreational Sales are usually great with KAYS. "Nope, I'd hardly call 50% less revenue than the average competitors in Oregon great.
I think those .03 note holders are already nervously selling their shares here which triggered the recent uptick in volume of late.
Most likely they know the truth of the news of the now late to be late financials and they don't like the prognosis.
No building permits=No new stores to see how they will help the company become profitable. None, nonsense...
