Ratso, I could be wrong, but the best chance of a major upset is in Green Bay. The bengals did not play that bad last week and Green Bay is way overated. A horrible performance last week by them. Getting Cinncinati +9 is not bad.JMO
Hi Bull n bear,
Any concerns with Canty out tomorrow?
Viking
I would tend to agree with you on that one!
The Vikings will have the home field advantage locked up by then!........I HOPE! LOL
LOL! That's what I was hoping!
Vikes flying in under the radar this year!

Fresh off a 180-yard rushing performance that included a remarkable 64-yard touchdown run, Adrian Peterson will be gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated this week.
The magazine is due to hit newsstands on Wednesday and will feature the Pro Bowl running back on the cover with the headline: Dominator: "I want people to remember me as the best to ever play the game."
Sports Illustrated senior writer Damon Hack spent time around the Vikings and Peterson last week. Here's an excerpt from the piece sent out by SI:
“Globally, he is fast becoming the face of football, real and fantasy. Locally, in Eden Prairie, Minn., he is the neighborhood big brother who plays catch with schoolkids and collects their cookies and donuts at his doorstep…. On Sunday, Peterson displayed his own gifts in a 34-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns at Cleveland Browns Stadium, tearing up the Browns’ defense with the kind of speed and violent running that harks back to the game’s greats.
"With Jim Brown in attendance and Brett Favre making his first start for Minnesota, it was Peterson who displayed the greatest star power, toughing out 180 rushing yards on 25 carries and three touchdowns, including a 64-yard dash down the left sideline that included five broken tackles and two stiff arms. He played through dehydration and a bloody gash in his left arm, and spent a portion of halftime vomiting…. Is he the best running back in the NFL? 'I answer that question this way,’ Peterson says. ‘I want people to remember me as the best player to ever play the game. When you think about football, I want to pop up in your head.'"
Update: Peterson is a finalist for the FedEX Ground NFL Player of the Week. Other finalists are Seattle's Julius Jones and New York's Thomas Jones. Fans can vote for the award by going to www.NFL.com/FedEx. Voting ends at 11 a.m. Friday>
Not good, but at least they have a SUPERBOWL ring from the shuffle years in 1985! I'll take that in a second!
I know. That's the problem. Never get over that hump!LOL
Sorry, I get a little intense with football! LOL
Don't worry, Vikes will find aother way to screw this up to!
In all fairness, they were totally dehydrated being in Tampa in sSeptember and being a first game. they're D is usually pretty good.
Just like I said, no need to apologize for a win in this league, but alas, it's the G-MEN next week for "da boys"!
How Dallas is favoed that game is beyond me.
Hi Mick. Packer gave it to me royally last night. Bears couldn't stop the 2 point conversion, so I lost. I was getting 4.5 in my pool!
Tha's the breaks!
Ah, that's it. A Favre hater!LOL
REDSKINS please!
Cowboys gave up almost 500 yards to the Bucs yesterday.
What a STUPID play. Just fall on it.
Since when does any team apologize for a win in the N.F.L.? Should New england, should New Orleans.
URLACHER done for season....
Urlacher Done For Season
UPDATED (3:32 p.m.)...
Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher underwent surgery Monday for a dislocated wrist and will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, the team announced.
Urlacher was injured during Sunday night's season-opening loss at Green Bay.
He told the Chicago Tribune in a text message that his "season is over" and the Bears confirmed that. According to the team's Web site, hand and wrist specialist Tom Wiedrich performed Monday's surgery.
Urlacher, a six-time Pro Bowl selection and a former NFL defensive player of the year, had started all 16 regular season games in seven of the previous eight seasons. He missed seven starts in 2004 with leg injuries.
Hunter Hillenmeyer likely will replace Urlacher in the Bears' lineup.
The Bears reportedly also could sign Derrick Brooks, the 11-time Pro Bowl linebacker who was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in February. Brooks drew recent interest from the New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders but wasn't signed by either team.
Yesterday was a prime example of why the Vikings picked up Favre. Look what Peterson does when defenses can't stuff the box with 8 or 9 men.Thats called Brett keeping defenses honest! Vikes will be tough this year.
I LOVE the throwback uniforms tonight....PATS are playing like the old PATS who wore them!
Good morning all! I really don't think this is any volume to get excited about. Bottomline is without news at this point, don't expect anything to happen in regards to a PPS going north. Just my opinion.
The VIKINGS journey to N.F.L. Champions begin today...
Not sure exactly what year it ends in victory though! LOL
GO VIKINGS!
Bottomline is GE is still a great value here IMO.
Madden Curse Strikes Again.....Cover Boy Troy Polamalu Out Three To Six Weeks
<As with every year, the player who graces the cover of the EA Sports' Madden football game has been injured.
Its latest victim—Troy Polamalu.
Late in the first half of the Pittsburgh Steelers-Tennessee Titans season opener, Polamalu, who was having an All-Pro first half, sprained his MCL in his left knee on a blocked field goal attempt.
Alge Crumpler rolled up on Polamalu's left knee as Polamalu tried to pick up the live ball and advance it.
The Steelers went on to win the game in overtime 13-10.
In his postgame press conference, according to profootballtalk.com, Mike Tomlin stated that the injury would keep Polamalu out of the lineup for three to six weeks. When asked if the injury could be more severe than they believe, Tomlin responded by saying, "I'm sure it's possible, but we don't have any concrete evidence it's worse than that."
At the earliest, Polamalu could be back for the Oct. 11 game at the Detroit Lions, and at the latest (hopefully) the Nov. 9 game at the Denver Broncos.

bk,I agree:
<I also sell at the ask, not the bid *ever*>
Disagree with the other point:
Too many bidwackers out there for me to agree that people getin at the ask. Not from what I have seen in the past.
I agree. Most people who make money want the shares at the bid, regardless of why the shares are there, that's when traders grab them (at the bid) and hold for a run!
It's good to talk with someone who knows how things work!
Have a good day!
I agree. With all the money I've made on GE in the last 6 months, I may throw a couple of more dollars into INBG! Nothing to lose by it, it's only money..and a write off if it doesn't work out!
Hi Charlie. I agree GREAT BUY at these prices!
Yes, nice BUYS today!!
Can you say "FREE MONEY" here! Go GE, I LOVE IT!
Good morning Bull n bear,
I'm getting the feeling you think Kelly is batter than Favre. Am I correct in that assumption?
Bull ne bear,History is also loaded with greats who retired and "unretired" Jordan, Ali, Clemens...the list goes on.
BTW, You can't compare the teams Kelly had to the teams Favre had.Favre took his cast members to another level. The players Kelly had (Thurman Thomas, Andre Read, Bruce Smith) that team was Loaded! Proof of that was how a back-up in Frank Reich came in and won alost every game Kelly didn't start or got hurt in!
Hi Mick, How's everything?
Rachel Alexandra should run in the Breeders cup Classic...she'll get hammered at 1 1/4!
This is the year of the Vikings! I HOPE!
16 schools and kindergartens in Wenchuan finish construction...
<By Wang Wei and He Xin (China Daily)
Updated: 2009-08-31 12:07 Comments(0) PrintMailWENCHUAN: A grand ceremony was held in Wenchuan County, southwest China's Sichuan province, on Thursday morning, to mark the completion of 14 schools and two kindergartens with financial assistance from south China's Guangdong province.
Many buildings including schools were damaged or collapsed in the devastating magnitude-8.0 earthquake that jolted Wenchuan, the epicenter of the quake, in May last year. Guangdong was in charge of the reconstruction of schools in Wenchuan.
With an investment of more than 871 million yuan, the province built two high schools, 10 rural primary schools and four kindergartens covering 222,550 square meters.
More than 14,000 students from Wenchuan who are studying in different parts of the country or prefabricated houses in Wenchuan because of the quake will study in the newly completed schools, according to county magistrate Liao Min.
Guangdong governor Huang Huahua considered the building of the schools and kindergartens a miracle as it took less than one year to finish the mammoth project.
"The central government attaches great importance to the reconstruction of schools in quake-hit areas. Premier Wen Jiabao said that more than 90 percent of the students in the quake zone shall study in permanent schools at the end of this year," said Lu Xiaoya, vice-minister of education, in the ceremony.>

If Yeung needs serious money to get the INBG ball rolling, I'll gladly lend it to him. I've made enough off of GE alone in the last 5 months! But he better decide fast, these projects are underway.
Lets get this dog of a stock moving up!

China builds new homes and schools in Sichuan...
<CHENGDU: China has built the country's first special complex of new apartment buildings and schools for orphans and children of needy families in southwestern Sichuan province.
The province is still recovering from last year's devastating earthquake that measured 8 on the Richter scale.
A group of 712 children aged between eight and 14, of whom 338 are orphans, moved into the complex known as "Ankang Jiayuan" (Homestead of Well-being) in Shuangliu County Wednesday.
The complex consists of two new apartment buildings, a primary school and a middle school. In addition to teachers, there are 80 specially-trained tutors to take care of the children's everyday necessities.
"It is beautiful here and I have no worries," said 13-year-old Luo Haowei from Yingxiu Township of Wenchuan County, the epicenter of last year's quake. He lost his parents in the disaster.
"All my teachers and schoolmates are very nice. We treat each other as close relatives," he said. "I will study hard and repay all of those who care about me with a good school record."
Wang Yanmei, one of the tutors, said she will attend to the children to the best of her ability.
"In my eyes, they are my own children," she said.
The "Ankang Jiayuan" project, the first of its kind specially built for Sichuan quake survivors, was initiated by the Beijing-based China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) after the disaster left more than 87,000 people dead or missing.
"Our fund started arranging the transfer of the children in Sichuan to other provinces not long after the quake, with the hope of helping them get rid of the psychological shadow and to offer a safe environment for their study and living," said the CCTF's Dr. Zhang Hefeng.
"Most of the children in "Ankang Jiayuan" studied and lived in Rizhao City, eastern Shandong province for a year before they came back to Sichuan in June this year," Zhang said.
Currently, "Ankang Jiayuan" is China's largest base to accommodate Sichuan quake orphans, and CCTF plans to build more complexes in the future, he said.
Construction of the sheltered environment was started in August last year and has cost almost 100 million yuan (US$14.7 million), which was donated by the Rizhao Steel Holding Group.
"Our company will continue to pay all the tuition fees for all the children until they finish middle school," said Wang Lifei, the company's deputy general manager.

Getting ready to pull the trigger and add more!
