I read all of your posts and for the most part agree with your opinions but regarding the importance of a comprehensive sports package I must disagree. NFL viewership is a very small fraction of worldwide viewership of soccer, and even NFL fans are retreating this year because of the blatant disrespect of our anthem. Soccer is huge to other countries, especially Latinos. If Viva is going to compete on an international basis, as I believe is planned, then it must provide extensive soccer coverage...not necessarily for me or you, but for other countries
I understand what you are saying as a typical US sports watcher but I’m really referencing teenagers and young adults in the US and much more importantly people outside the US. I think it is underestimated how big soccer is in the rest of the world. My 4 sons don’t watch much TV and what they do watch is often on a mobile screen but they wouldn’t be interested in anything without a full sports package. It will be interesting to see how the channel line up evolves
IMO anyone who does not recognize the importance of FS1, FS2 and NBCSN to true sports fans is not paying attention to the evolution of sports away from the relic that is ESPN. If Viva wants to satisfy the growing interest in soccer in the US as well as the rest of the world it has to offer a full complement of soccer coverage. The majority of the British Premier League games are on MSNBC and FS1 hosts the FA Cup and Champions League. Any soccer fan in the world knows this.
I feel like an idiot but I don’t see how to do that
For those of you without Instagram you’re missing quite the show. Viva post with Jenni dancing. Not Jenny from Miami but a new Latino hottie
21s are up but I’m tapped out!
Just saw that tweet and couldn’t help but smile. Hundreds of thousands of subs through Triad...nice. Like someone else posted I have now tripled my initial investment limit. Sitting on 9M and happy to be there. I think we are on to something very special here. GLTA

Can you provide your math for that calculation? It sounds close to what I was guessing but hard numbers would be reassuring. Hard to figure this one because there are potential revenues beyond monthly subs such as commercial contracts for hotels, colleges, etc as well as businesses that may want to host their own channels
All one has to do is read through the very extensive online manual under support on the website. Lots of impressive features and capabilities coming.
Best wishes to Johnny and his wife with what sounds like her imminent delivery. Nothing like the birth of a child, what a rush!
Continued flurry of Latino event pics on Instagram. Word is getting out
Excellent ad on instagram
And people wonder why Viva hasn’t had the hard launch and advertising blitz. Clearly they are very close to a great product but it’s not quite there yet
Really liked the Instagram post of the guy on the subway watching Vivalive TV on his phone. That’s where we are going for sure
At 0.0019 now I need an OTTV cheerleader to tell me I did the right thing not flipping this yesterday for 0.0022! C’mon OTTV climb!
OTC does not trade after hours. That was reporting of a market maker trade from earlier in the day that posts just after the close.

Now that website is more like it. Great job Viva!
I am as frustrated as anyone here, currently down 50% on my investment, but I am encouraged by the new website and the visual proof of the product in wireless stores. Viva was hit hard by the hurricane I’m sure but they are moving forward.
It is tanking because I own it. Currently down 50% not happy. Going to hold for more subs and also the commercial applications of this which I believe to be extensive, including hotels and colleges/universities.

Completely agree with your assessment. Still looks like a work in progress to me. The link to the old website certainly needs work, and the packages offered should be in your face when you hit the main screen. But, overall, definitely moving forward.
I have Time Warner Cable/Spectrum in North Carolina and currently pay monthly as follows:
150 cable TV service
25 various taxes and other crap
5 for 2 cable cards for TiVo
30 for the 2 TiVo subscriptions
10 Netflix
also have Amazon Prime for shipping discount
So $220 a month. If Viva completes their offering with movies, DVR and sports I'm done with cable. Really like the TiVo service. Hoping Viva will eventually work with it.
Selena Gomez as a suggestion. My sons and other young people hardly know who Jennifer Lopez is.
Watched the Apple keynote address last week and the release of a comprehensive sports package for Apple TV is interesting. I wonder what channels and services will be available. IMO any provider that hangs it's hat on ESPN is doomed, maybe 5 years ago but not today. Who wants to watch sports with liberal politics shoved in your face

You and I are I n the same page. I think one of the best things about soccer is also what has limited it's adoption in the United States, and that is that the action never stops except for half time. Makes it very difficult to run commercials as in football, baseball, hockey. Seems as though they are working around that with split screens, etc. the diving problem previously referenced is also be dealt with by post game official reviews with issuance of yellow cards. A few suspensions and the diving will stop
It seems that Viva is targeting the Hispanic population. I don't know any who don't love soccer. Same goes for college kids. Weak sports package and you can forget about college kids signing up. But there is time for this along with movies, DVR,more channels and improved guide
No one in my high school played soccer, my 4 sons play constantly in club and school. Soccer complexes are going up everywhere in the southeast anyway. The MLS is growing and attracting soccer greats from overseas. It is growing rapidly in the US but is a religion everywhere else.
I am an avid NFL fan and enjoy the NBA and all college sports but all of those combined pale in comparison to worldwide viewership of soccer. And most soccer games are shown on FoxSports and NBCSN. These are must haves for widespread Viva adoption
I have always bought Samsung TVs but my next purchase will be an LG OLED without question. LG is going to capture more market share IMO
Well, that is exactly what I was thinking. If the Visio TV can act as the primary device, and a packaging insert with the TV suggests installing the app and trying it out, I would think many people would sign up
Surprised we don't get lift off with this news
Just saw the vivalive setup at the concert. Very nice
Time to sit back and let this play out. The product is robust and the sector is on fire with cord cutting only getting started. Good things are happening, just maybe not as fast as we would like.

Lol. And let me guess, that will be next week
LL8...is that acquisition news 95%sure !?
Viva really needs to land more sports channels. ESPN is rapidly going down the toilet, replaced by FoxSports and NBCSN. The only time my family watches ESPN is for a sporting event broadcast, and even then reluctantly. All of the commentator/talk shows are better on the other networks and don't include political bias.
What twitter account are people following where they see news about a PR? I follow @vivaentgroup and don't see any new tweets.
How much lower are we all supposed to hold with this? Enough with the social media BS. Get this thing moving
22 really?
Just a thought on the DVR service. I hope it is designed to allow for sub accounts for each primary account. If my adult daughter is using a Roku under my primary account she is probably not going to want to share a DVR account with her parents. Also I wonder how many subs the current servers can handle before we see an impact on streaming quality
