Great, A2-73 is safe, approve now!
No good indication yet today... downward pressure seems to be leading though.
Hold up, SAVA MC >$3B, AVXL <$2B?
Thanks, Powerwalker.
If you're into reading tea leaves, this is more convincing than previous discussions I have seen about Anavex's future.
I can't remember production costs of the last batch. The rett population is relatively small. There has to be a shelf life, so to cover production and distribution over the next couple of years for retts, $50M seems a little steep.
Uh, yeah... The Precision medicine approach was brilliant, if it was Missling's. Trial design has not been anything mystifying, but certainly adequate, if that was Missling's. Arranging financing, definitely nothing stellar, but to give credit, we are going at it alone.
The question is, why raise capital NOW, when you have several years of runnway and pending news?
Peace.
Agreed, they knew timing.
That would be the science, not the CEO.
The raise is only about a 3.5% discount based on float.
Maybe he should stop giving false promises. Accountability? Seems reasonable.
Politicians tell people what they want to hear.
Yeah right, strong package. Has nothing to do with the raise. Why not just say it the way it is instead of spinning?
The dip should recover soon. It is insignificant to the market cap. The price is irrelevant.
Hmm, PDD results lingering, several million cash on hand, AD results supposedly next year. These are all supposed to be great news and boost share price significantly. Let's raise capital now before any of these events, especially because the company said they had enough cash on hand for several years. The timing is brilliant!
OR.. they want to raise capital while they can to keep other trials going.
Probably the same horizon as when results get announced...
Who would have thought... Brilliant!
Keep chipping away!
~$43 = $3 B MC
$1.86 B MC with PDD and AD in the pipeline, unbelievable.
Hmmm, wonder if anyone is digging into thier bank accounts. Something is fishy there.
Is there a shelf life on that stuff?
Thanks, Raja. Best of luck to you.
Yeah, well at least we will know at some point. Same old, same old right now until we get results. I wonder how many scientific articles have been released supporting sigma 1 while Anavex has had trials underway?
No mistake, receiving deliverables when stated would be a good spot to start.
Ah, so Anavex did not sell any shares the last 2 days? Interesting.
Right... so Anavex can't raise any capital right now through the sale of shares... interesting.
I agree. Quit taxiing on the runnway, let's put this thing in the air.
Nope, no confusion.
Looking back, it seems they have been doing much better though. Likely also a benefit of higher share prices.
Great. So the problem is not increasing share count, it is the timing of the increase (many factors with this) and the amount of the increase.
I'll be glad if they did it at high prices. My personal opinion is they tend to have a heavy foot. I will be curious how much cash they have on hand by end of year. Put it to work.
Why complain when the price drops?
On February 11, 2021, cash and cash equivalents of approximately $75 million, sufficient cash runway for up to three (3) years.
December 16, 2019
The Company believes that its existing cash and cash equivalents, along with existing financial commitments from third parties, will be sufficient to meet its cash commitments for in excess of two years after the date that these consolidated financial statements are issued.
December 12, 2018
The Company believes that its existing cash and cash equivalents, along with existing financial commitments from third parties, will be sufficient to meet its cash commitments for at least the next two years after the date that these consolidated financial statements are issued.
Need I go on?
They have stated that for the last couple of years, yet we have more shares and more capital.
Ah, so when does Anavex raise capital?
Weren't more shares just authorized?
Hmmm... where could all that sell side pressure come from? Again...
Great summary!
