“Entry into the Canadian capital markets”. Makes all this Sessions chatter irrelevant. What does this mean for EVIO?
G3 Labs was suspended back in September. It didn’t seem like a permanent thing. But getting shut down even for a short time can be a huge financial blow. They had a good reputation in cannabis circles.

Hiring people from Genentech? That’s impressive.
I’m also curious about that. Or are those nwn PRs having the opposite effect on price?
EVIO said they are waiting for state agency to come do the certification for its pesticide machine in Oregon. It’s not just the equipment they check out but the lab’s ability to do the work
Then it takes time for them to complete the certification
October sales have been strong so this doesn’t seem to be slowing them down much
Good news - double the revenue at start of year compared to last. And they were trading higher then.

Didn't the board need to approve the agreement to buy CannaRegs?
I was pretty shocked when I saw how much they offered. The information CannaRegs provides is important for some attorneys and municipalities who are forming their regulations during the next 1-2 years. But the data is all available for free online. After CA finishes implementing all of its rules, the market for this information is questionable, and will become increasingly standardized. The current subscribers won't re-up once they get their own regs settled.
Any word on their announcement to go to CA?
EVIO doesn’t need another MBA.
Waldrop got his MBA in entrepreneurship from USC - a top business school. His bio also says he was exec. in telecom in the 90’s before he launched a string of companies.
Glauser is also a mechanical engineer/MBA and worked for Ernst & Young, IBM and Financial Times as a management consultant. Grimmett is an MBA who ran a company for 15 years previously. Only Dr.Smith is a “scientist” - which they need.
EVIO’s Market cap is $10 million, around 4 times revenue. They got 7+ labs in 5 states less than 2 years - most of the new revenue hasn’t been reported yet.
I think the board members alone are worth more than this.
DIG* has market cap of $6 million and one lab in Nevada. They can’t test California or Colorado weed.
MJ Investors are all focused on buying cultivation and products right now. I think they’ll wake up soon, maybe after they realize the price of the commodity is dropping down to nothing, while the price of testing goes up.
No idea why this is so cheap right now. Maybe the name change and reverse has this below the radar of many.
Staying long and heading back to the beach.
They were an exhibitor at a cannabis conference in so cal this week. http://www.eviolabs.com/events.html
So quiet. How's business?
I'm disappointed that I got sucked into this one. In hindsight even though I wasn't sure about a niche social media platform, and I doubted the quals of Mgt team I picked some up as a momentum play, and held on
Cannaregs might be worth $1 million, and the value of the canna part of company will expire in 5 years once regs stop changing every week.
I'm looking for long term plays in canna now. Companies that can get started in canna and grow to other industries
Cannaregs has that potential if they could eventually expand the platform to other emerging regulated technologies. Like drones and bitcoin But that's way down the road. And maybe not under the msrt umbrella
"IR/PR campaign for a sustained period of time spending 10-20k a month minimum."?? need a mkt cap of $500 mil+ to justify that kind of spend. Unless of course the company is a p&d.
As uncle noted a few days ago, The company has a P/S ratio that is lower than most in the industry.
Legit investors and analysts who follow fundamentals, not spammy newsletters, will pick up on this. They will also pick up on the fact that testing is required and EVIO is the only lab co, public or private, that figured out how to scale.
Better to spend $20k/mo increasing ops . Humboldt needs labs.
There are plenty of crooked canna companies that have nothing more than an acre of desert property and a huge IR budget. Maybe that's more your speed brot..
Wow. Sticky that Uncle?
public mj labs are Digipath and (poo poo) Pazoo.
I believe in testing so I got in to Dig* before EVIO existed. They still have just one lab in Las Vegas while EVIO came in and put up what, 8 labs now?
~Good luck to the Florida/SC ppl on this board.~
If I recall, you have to be a CO resident to run a biz in CO. Reason we don't see more pubco going to CO unless they started there.

This is a familiar crowd. Who besides WW is involved in this co.?
Purchased for 26 times revenue?
Sounds rich. Considers Ms. Ostrowitz vision of the company's valuation.
It's also an interesting direction as CannaRegs is clearly B2B while MSRT is B2 20-something mj fans (I had another term in mind, but I'll be polite). There is virtually no overlap in this customer base.
7 labs with no equity capital in 2 years? I think that's impressive.
I didn't see them on the MJAC exhibitor list. I did see them im prior years at the big Las Vegas show.
Been long SRNA for a couple of years now and lurking on the boards. I think this will be a good year for the sector.

Hmm, this stock went on sale just in time for the eclipse and fall harvest.
Over 1,500 licensed recreational marijuana farms in Oregon. Not one of them can sell a single joint legally until it's tested. Here's one:
Newbie on this board, but I'm not a newbie to MCIG. I got a $10 flower combusting pen from them (before the bubble burst in '14), thought it was brilliant, so I picked up some shares. I still have them - both the shares, and the pen.
Glad to see this is coming back to life. Looks like they have lots going on. I'm not fan of investing in growing for the long term, but could be a good play for a couple of years.
Any word on expansion plans? There was some talk about that a few months ago.
Testing is interesting in the MJ sector. Supply shortages in Hawaii point to testing. And I heard Oregon and Massachusetts had similar problems when they got started.

Lots of demand and little supply seems to be a good place to be. Better than growing I think. I don't think people will continue to spend thousands of dollars per pound for a fancy weed.
I know of only one other lab stock, it's been around longer, but has only one lab.
Back to the beach. . .
New here - this is intriguing. Is this greenhouse in San Clemente?
