Didn't TAUG have something in the works (or considering) with regard to e-cigs some time ago?
He sold off millions to help fund a new venture but I don't know what portion of his holding has been sold to date.
Maybe Shrimp, Prof T, etc. have kept better tabs on Mr. Barkaloo.
Per Scottrade -
Shares Outstanding: 870.32M
Float: 785.7M
"Class dismissed.", Professor T
I was thinking more in line of a form of headwear.
> Nice to know we have another decent sized group of TAUG sh.
One of our guys from out west wasn't in on the TAUGfest. But he is now. I'll pencil him in for a million.
Who's next!?
Didn't have the pleasure Zal. I've been mistaken as having been in lots of places for some reason.
25 million, hu? Now we're talking!
Right now we're heading back in May but want a full moon for fishing. One of our friends from L.A. has been to 35 Kentucky Derbies in a row - so that'll complicate things schedule wise. But I'll be there before, on or after my birthday celebrating. BTW - Stella and I have the same birthday. Should get her down there, too.
The one thing about KW - they will never, ever run out of beer.
Let's hope by then TAUG will require us to ratchet up the party.
Well Tom, for now I have to pay my bills the conventional way .... long commutes into NYC and doing my thing.
That said, the fact that one's liver is still functional is excuse enough to stay in Key West. TAUG will determine whether my friends and I buy a place in KW or simply visit regularly. And by "buy a place" I mean you'll have somewhere to stay my northern dwelling friend. There'll be plenty of room.
Things are starting to fall into place - as most of us longs believed would happen.
To Stella and Seth - throw another log on the fire!
I just got back to NYC/NJ from Key West and the 'pain' is eased by a very pleasant TAUG day. There were 8+ million TAUG shares represented in KW among my friends - a great place for an informal stockholders meeting. More accumulation will continue before we reconvene there in May.

Thanks to Seth for updating the board. I hope the lunch meeting went well and that we'll see it resulting in big things. I must say, the words "hedge fund" caught my attention!

TAUG
For what it's worth I sent a tweet to the Pilus Energy Twitter account asking if there are any updates with regard to Mad Tree. Since there's been sparse activity on their Twitter account I didn't expect a prompt reply to my tweet on Wednesday but figured it was worth a shot. I received a response today.
Their answer (from Cody?) was: "Can't say yet, but hoping to put out an update soon. Stay tuned."
So.....we stay tuned. Same TAUG time. Same TAUG channel.
You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a company that doesn't know how to spell "PR" and seemingly never announces a thing.
I think that the well heeled TAUGers here, who have done their DD and have enough business/market experience, are frustrated because we feel (know) that TAUG's potential is enormous.
I'm not impatient waiting on Apple's or Intel's next announcement - they're established entities. A fledgling TAUG is another case - it's like being a parent who has seen their infant crawl and is now struggling to stand. You just can't wait to see those first confident steps.
TAUG it up
I must agree. It is getting old and (unfortunately) it does begin to raise questions.
What's the status with the MOU signed with iFlow?? (Announced back on 11/4/14)
What's the status with Pilus, specific to Mad Tree Brewery & generally moving forward? We are two months removed from the EPA Showcase in Cincinnati and aside from Mad Tree I haven't seen or heard anything substantive - unless I missed something noteworthy.
Management is reluctant to put out fluff PR, which is understandable. But silence isn't golden and it's not hard to infer from the lack of information flow that there's "nothing good to report".
I think your time will be better served Prof. T by foregoing the DD admonitions by simply issuing Detention Notices for those who come to TAUG Investing 1.1 class unprepared.
I would think my "concern" is "our concern"! lol
You may consider getting some brews from the Mad Tree Brewery in Cincinnati - and while you're at it ask if they've found a solution to their "trub" disposal issue.
I've been somewhat off the grid for a while and return to find Tom doing his thing. Professorial indeed. Great points, common sense.
I'll pick up more shares this morning to get my holding up to an even 2 mil shares (I like round numbers) then go out and shovel. My order of TopiCanna is (was?-damn snow) supposed to show up today - perfect timing, because my knees will need it.
Waiting on Pilus (microbrewery) update & MOU follow-up. Stella? Seth? Cody?
Long on TAUG - hoping my patience and faith will be rewarded. Key West bars and restaurants will stand to profit significantly!
'fish, Gregg - we longs are here because of the huge potential - $s per share is plausible though the financial stars all have to align.
A large part of the TAUG health/supplement side of the house's future success would seem to hinge on the bringing in revenue from Japan.
For me, I'm casting an eye to China. As I recall, Stella made mention of getting into China with Pilus, and the Chinese are finally beginning to deal with their water pollution problems (which have hit crisis status) - committing hundreds of millions of dollars to address glaring problems to start.
If the Chinese give Pilus technology a shot and have positive results then look out.
Professor T - if you don't mind can you shoot me an e-mail at ihub.ccdude@gmail.com? I wanted to bounce something off you regarding our other favorite stock. Just don't want to post anything on that board (at this time). Thanks.
"....all I can verify is that the site is well behind schedule and no official explanation has been offered as to why."
Here's your official explanation .....but who trusts anything on Facebook, right?
Taken from Shrimp's post (18903) on 12/31:
"Also, regarding the online store. Launch has been delayed slightly (2-3 weeks) due to production issues. The site is days away from being ready but we are being held up by the big production run of our natural wellness supplements. We want to make sure we can fulfill orders immediately, although we are thinking of launching in less than 2 weeks with the products we will have available (IndiCalm, MendoCan) and taking preorders for the other products. This is a big milestone and we want to do it right!" via: https://www.facebook.com/TaurigaSciencesInc?fref=nf
....and a Shrimp will lead them.
Well deserved, Shrimp.
As we creep closer to sub-penny territory I guess it's time to load up with 200 or 300K more shares to keep averaging down. If there's any truth to an Aristotle quote:
“Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.”
I feel like I'm chewing on a radish.
Keeping the faith. TAUG on.
I agree with 'fish .... the bottom line is truly the bottom line.
We longs (frustrated as we are watching the price sliding downward with sub-penny not all that far off on the horizon) know that we do have the potential here with TAUG. Ultimately, on the assumption that our supplement/cannabis line and especially Pilus are solid, viable commodities, then it all comes down to one word - commercialization. That's why Dr. Brennan came onboard, no? As he stated back in October :
"I am also enthusiastic about commercializing Tauriga's synthetic biology platform for remediating wastewater and generating energy in the process."
Based on his resume he must have a long list of contacts and resources he can tap into now - not having to develop such relationships. He was appointed a scant six weeks ago, so it's early, but I'm more concerned/interested in how he'll ramp up and make things happen. PRs triggered by Brennan's activity is what I'm waiting on.
Think Rolling Stones.
We can only hope that "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all" is not the reason why Stella et al are mum.
Ah....confidence from management. At least she'd be loading up at a nice price.
You're absolutely right, Shrimp. There are different avenues available to get "authoritative" word out on progress (or lack thereof) without paying for it.
I'd agree that Stella has demonstrated a lack of communications skills given where TAUG currently finds itself - poised to commercialize on two separate fronts in emerging and potentially lucrative sectors.
Just tell us something we don't already know. Something substantive (no fluff PR) so the board here isn't simply a "be patient" echo chamber.
Down 10%....
Isn't this about the time, ala Brando in "Streetcar", that the shareholders place their hands to their heads and cry out "Stelllllla!!"?
You, Shrimp, are a credit to crustaceans everywhere!
We have a Shrimp sighting!!
Get the nets ready....
Shrimp is undoubtedly preparing for a complete TAUG board debrief. Although he didn't say much while at the showcase I'll hang my hat on one thing he did say -
"...I am more confident now, than arriving this morning."
Agreed. I remember back in the day when "the Web" was taking off that the Potato Growers Association laid claim to the pga.com domain. Didn't go over well with the golfing crowd. As I recall the potato guys were paid something in the neighborhood of $50K for the name.
The topicanna.com domain sends you to bluehost.com (web hosting). The guy who owns it has his own website (jredmon.com) but there's nothing there except a "More to Come Soon" message.
The cannacaviar.com domain sends you godaddy.com (web hosting). The guys who own it "Gold Standard Group" appear to be a public relations/marketing company.
Quite aware Prof. T.
Just found it interesting that there were domain registrations using the named products.
BTW- it's almost as quiet as the MOB'ster board.
A disparate pair ....

Maybe Shrimp overslept. ???
Hope Shrimp wasn't swallowed by a whale.
Hmmmmm. Then again......
In the red ..... one can only assume, given TAUG's recent trends, that things are going well in Cincinnati. There can be no other explanation.
Showcase starts now - 9:30
Panel discussion with Cory Harrison at 2:40 PM
