where's the guy with the 6th sense who gets signals when we need him?
guess their short positions are in place.
We're China's largest customer no?
so, wouldn't that mean we're not consuming what we once were...i.e. slowing down.
I just don't see any major catalyst to the upside. maybe oil, but they get it to 40 and the US starts pumping again. and the last move by BOJ was a disaster. some could say that about the ECB moves today. Their all flashing RED.

churn, churn, churn........till next week.
BOJ, FOMC, BOE all the major policy guys make their moves next week. should be interesting.
well they say their not beholden to the markets........I know it's sexist to say, but I just can't help but think she's in I told you so mode (an God forbid that happen).....like she was right all along. not like they shouldn't have done it a year earlier. at the end of the day I think the market does what the traders want it too and then the MSM rationalizes it for us.

never underestimate the stupidity of yellen. they might pull the trigger next week based on recent data
why do I chase.......damn man. had my buy orders this am at 6.9, paid 7.14 when she ran to 7.20's
avg still about 6.9 though. grrrr......
watch for the head fake. rig count tomorrow. I'm not chasing this one today.
2020 on the spx soon if oil keeps rising, but i think they've run it up already. much more and the US can make money on it again.
at least I am in at a good price this time around. i'll hold till she tanks.
thats why i was ranting on here yesterday about etrade. Their site was f-d up and I had scottrade on the other monitor, watching the charts....blah, blah... and I was already down, scatterbrained etc.. so I dumped it while i could. when it did'nt hold I thought it was gonna tank. I mean hell it was to a low from in the 90's and everyone was saying NG was going to 1.50 or a buck...... back to tvix for me.
I dumped 750k shares yeasterday at .70 :-/
of course I now downloaded etrade pro, but damn man I am pissed. cost me a lot of money for their F up. maybe it was the volume on this thing right now?
I AM SO F-ing Pissed at Etrade right now. My trades would not go through as it was giving me error messages, I have scott trade platform open, talking to etrade on the phone etc......just scattered.
had them close my position as I had no control, and now it's rising. F etrade.
oh, and of course they say no issues on their end, clear your cookies. F you etrade.
so, whats the net net? is this good or bad news?
global warming
feels like a limbo party right about now :-/
can someone help me understand the relationship between WTI crude and NG from a price standpoint. i.e. does one influence the other and how.
any links or guidance appreciated.
well, heck, ifin the code says go, ima throw my whole IRA at it!
Natural gas fund Cogent Energy Investment Management LLC has been shut down, according to a source intimately involved in the space. Traders Benzinga spoke with are attributing Tuesday's natural gas futures performance to the closure.
The commodity responded as reports of Cogent's closure circulated, spiking from an intra-day low just under $1.69 to a high of almost $1.77. Natural gas futures were volatile, up about 5 percent on the session.
The fund, created by three former Enron traders according to Bloomberg, was launched in January 2013. Founders Fletcher Sturm, Robert Benson and Frank Ermis also worked at JPMorgan Chase and Barclays before starting Cogent, Reuters reported in 2012.
Cogent did not respond to a request for comment.
hey guys, help me understand how this would spur a rally?
there have been several AH buys north of 5 million , some in the high 80's, some in the 1.00 range and higher.
this thing should have some room to run.
looks like someone was trying to take some stops out there.
I also noticed some nice AH buys over the last few days before I jumped in.
So, are you of the opinion that being right about the 52 week low is good.
I dropped major coin on this today as well, mainly based on the double bottom.
What other factors come into play to get this to 1.20.
I mean short of a brutal winter storm, and as they say, hope is not a strategy lol.
I also read about the production cuts, but this is my 1st trade on this one and was just looking for more insight/reassurance.
thanks.
It's about damn time the owners of this world got a dose of what their dishing out.
yeah, i got out as well....still waiting, as I think this rally has some more room
you in or out right now?
what just turned the market?
Russian President Vladimir Putin called a meeting with top managers of his country's leading oil producers on Tuesday.

Is there a particular symbol to get WTI crude in scottrade?

I'd be careful. Come Monday they'll be touting how well the G20 went and probably clear 1950 solidly. IMO anyway.
do we know the date of the March meeting?
no, sold out yesterday on everything. was short this Sdow and Sqqq
It's all good as long as you learn from it and preserve capital.
Probably wait until 2000 to jump back in, provided oil hit's resistance at 36, 38 or triple tops at 34.
Oil runs the show right now.
Meh, I've doubled since 1st of the year and still broke even one this one....just about.I was all in and didn't want to miss the run to 12 if I sold because of T-3.Yeah, need to use trailing stops now.friggin oil. lol
bears still in control IMO. but with oil and the G20 this is a nice lil bull run. congrats to those that were in on the move
I'm out. sold at break even. was up like 70k the other day. lol live and learn
the G20 over the weekend is what worries me, they'll come out and say everything is rosy and break 1950. I'll get back in next week. GLTA
they're bigger, more trusted....probably more crooked too
hey, I missed the trade, congrats.
It does irritate me to some extent as an American they are playing us like this. If they chose that game, then tax them 10$ a barrel
SA.....such a reliable source.
their penny pumpers
yeah, it'll catch up with them.
they tell the US to tighten up or get out of the business, then cohort with Russia, who they supposedly hate.
Their playing with fire.
