Again my order was patially filled at .0122
The last trade of the day was me... i had a limit order in for 50k at 0.0152... it parially executed 1005 shares at 0.0145
Well although i got in really early...i was still buying shares when it was .04.. infact this is about when i pulled all my friends and family in... very confident in 10x returns even at .04
You are correct
1. 0.0035 (got about 10m around .0001 and have been averaging up ever since)
2. Mid 2016... independent research I do whenever an investment pays off and im looking for another
3. Exepect $ in the bank in nov 2019
4. Look for another investment
5. 0.15
This is was submitted by RPX. The supreme cout has not accepted or shedule this. It would benefit uoip if the supreme court didnt support RPXs case by agreeing to wven listen to it. I would be shocked if the court wasted their time with this
Absolutely... if he were worried about a mere 5m he probably would have filed financials to keep uoip current allowing him to sell a very small portion of his 900m shares at a resonable market price (0.10-0.20) is my guess to where pps would be now if it were not grey. Rasing 5 m at the 10 to 20 cent range is only 2.8% -5.6% of his shares.... at 0.015 its 37%
Agree... there no need to promoted this stock. Majority of holders right now are very educated investors.... i like that as board communication is not diluted much by the uneducated. Plus the pps doesnt matter... with promotion we would attract uneducated investors and traders who dont know what they hold causing price volatility only valuable to those who are not long term
BA is correct
Agree completely Allinfun
I love the fact that its in the greys... if it was not I would probably sell a portion in the .20-.30 range (just because it would be hard to resist)... but settlement or trial should result in much more.
Sorry for the reply... but actually i have a lot of orders in at various pps...only the low orders have been getting filled.
Excellent stuff. Thank you
Yup totally agree
Tptally agree
How much have u picked up since going grey
I agree ist not hard to pick up small quantities... i have picked up 200k since going grey.... BUT establishing a large position (5m+) would be difficult now
Seriously.. lol. I havent laughed that hard in a while. Thanks
I agree with you. The floor is a probably reasonable too. If i were carter it would be hard for me to turn down a .75 settlememt offer. That would be $675m to him (prior to legal fees etc) however, the patents are worth far more than 1.2b (or .75 per share)... more like 2.5b minimum to 4b
The real question is how much is carter willing to leave on the table in order to settle and be done with it. (Know one can even speculate to this aspect)
He also knows much more about where the case stands. The more certain he is about the likelyhood of a trial victory... the higher the settlement offer would have to be for him to accept it.
Any educated investor has know that outstanding shares have been 1.6b for well over over a year... this is not news to anyone who has done any dd
Those figures were originally posted very early on and were meant to be very conservative.... in fact the original post stated thate thise figures were ultra conservative... but it even so represents a 50x return
Thank you for the follow... but I dont post much and definately dont try to influence. I do a ton of research and pick one stock that has material risk but large upside. I allow this stock to be 30% of my prtfolio max. All other holdings im lookaverage about 12%-20% growth per year.
Right now uoip os my huge upside pic.
I find a stock every few years that im willing to risk a large % of my portfolio on... past investments have mostly been at the seed investment stage like uber... or turnarounds lile ORLY (now at 400... got on under 20 back in 2001.
I dont keep up to date on other tickers unless i am researching looking for a new stock ... so you wont see me posting much on other boards until this pans out one way or the other
New to the board (not invested) Rapid fire questions:
1. What does 'revoked' mean? (taken off exchange?)
Means the stock will no longer traded on any exchange.
2. Chances of settlement/win?
Very High… Chances of winning a settlement or B/O ~ 70% Chances of settlement B/O or trial award 90%... The Challenge here is the timing it’s a slow process … patience is a must.
3. Chances of complete loss?
Chances of failure 10%
4. Chances of win but somehow screwed out of ownership.
Don’t believe this is possible, However I do think it’s possible that we do not get an immediate full payout if we win future royalties and do not have a buyout offer. In this case UOIP would get current in their financials quickly and , so you could sell your shares and the market would value the stock at the value of future royalties.
5. Why hasn't the company reverse split?
There is no need… Not selling shares
6. Given your experience with other IP stocks, what is a fair price at this juncture?
I have been buying as much as I can under .015…have about 30m and I am slowing down just because of diversification in my portfolio. I would have paid more but these prices are available …Orders over .012 have not been processed lately but .01s have… My risk adjusted valuation PPS right now is .10… but I think settlement will be around .60-.90
7. What % of your investment money is in this stock?
20%-30%
8. Would this board remain if the stock is revoked?
Yes
9. Is there any chance that UOIP can't pay the $5m on the due date
Absolutely … zero doubt on this
10. What happens if UOIP can't pay the $5m to ChanBond?
Won’t happen… but if it did I am sure the deal would be re-negotioated as it would be in the best interest for all parties ex. $7M in another year.
11. Could they make some kind of back-door deal and opt not to pay in order to screw minority holders?
Not Legally
12. Any thoughts on other items UOIP owns?
Meaningless…. It all the Patents
13. Has anyone ever attended any of the legal proceedings?
Zombie has … and I have had associates attend on my behalf
14. Any lawyers invested? What drew you to this company?
The law firm I use had has had several partners but in… I don’t know their holdings
15. Has anyone met ( in person ) management/legal team?
I have worked with the law firm Mishcon de Reya… Primarily Raskin (one of their partners) I have not met Whitman…. The firm is top tier
16. Do you expect a one-time settlement or would there be ongoing revenues from use of the technology?
Most likely a one time settlement but but expect that to include a value to account for future use estimated around the 5 year value
17. How soon after a win would you expect this to be 'unrevoked' if it is 'revoked'.
depends on if we have future royalties... very soon... if not i think we get paid and the stock never gets unrevoked
18. Was the drop last year solely due to SEC action?
90% due to the SEC action… nothing changed other than that… the only reason I don’t say 100% is that I am sure there were some profit takers, as many bought in for .0001-.00001.
19. On a scale of 1-10 how risky would you say this investment is?
Hard to answer…I don’t think it’s very risky if you are investing disposable funds…. Where else can you expect a 70%-90% chances of 20x-100x
20. Is anyone invested in a company in the industry and using this as a hedge?
I am sure some are… but I see no reason to hedge with the odds of victory as I have laid them out.
21. Why would the defendants not buy up cheap shares of UOIP as a hedge?
I am sure some have… that’s the beauty of going Grey and potentially delisting… prevents this from continuing.. the Financial filings would have been submitted if Carter did not want this stock to go grey. Also Many Public companies have to disclose their investment holding to shareholders… I am sure Comcast etc does not want to show institutional investors that they are invested in a company filing suit against them.
22. What happens if something happens to William R. Carter Jr.?
He is not a one man show, His company is behind him
23. Does he post here under a pseudonym?
I highly doubt it… he has better things to do. Plus why would he take on insider information risks.
24. Why are there so many posts (over 60,000) and how did so many people get involved?
This has been going on a long time, there are a lot of posts, but not that many posters… just a good group keeping up with communication
25. Do you all have some kind of plan to meet up and have a big party if you get rich from this? Some do … I dont
Ill pull my answers together tomorrow or over the weekend in a response as well.
Haha twisting words.... of coarse they are not in good standing they havent submited financials
Revolked doesnt mean we get nothing
I love how 33% to the lawyers will be a rediculous amount of money. First of all 33% is very high for a suit of this magnitue, but more importantly if 33% is a huge sum of money.... what about 67%
I agree that they are tryong to drag it out. But disagree about taking it to trial...risk is far too big without a leg to stand on.
Also the point about the stock being delisted causing funds to dry up makes no sense, as they are not and cannot issue new shares as a non reporting company. (Please correct me if i am wrong herel
Yes some are trying to scare up shares from weak hands
This is ridiculous.... see you at payday
all states have different laws regarding corporations delaware is widely considered the most protective of shareholders rights where as nevada and florida and wyoming offer tax benefits but are considered soft on shareholder rights
No u do not have to have your headquarters in the state where you are incorporated. They are a delaware corp
Agreed
Still time
Thanks zomby.
The below pacer describes the the dispute being discussed in the transcript that zomby viewed.
It is a letter from chanbond that lays out the agreement made to reduce the number of claims and the combinations of such claim construction of prior art to 4.
It clearly show how this agreement was violated
