Literally, I didn't put words in your mouth.
Sarcastically, maybe you did.
But either way, I am not sure who the other 'defendants' are that you dream will be paying 1B.
At the moment, Z is the only 'defendant' in the mobile realm or am I missing something?
Sounds like your dream is to have V lose, get delisted, and close shop.
Not sure about "1.5B from Google"
30M corrected to 300M because of jury error.
When V is successful against Z, then there will not be much ground for Huawei and the others to stand on and they should follow 'quickly' in settling or V will be able to walk the rest of them down the same path around the world as they did Z.
nice chart!
We tried to work with V. We really wanted to settle, but before we had a chance to V attacked us with injunctions in multiple countries.
Did you know V is a Non-Practicing Entity (NPE)?
We tried to negotiate with V, but they would not budge.
We accidentally disclosed confidential information, but it didn't really hurt V because they are a NPE.
We tried to be reasonable and meet the discovery requests, but V unreasonably asked for too much.
Maybe some of our submissions weren't in English, but V is unreasonable to expect them to be.
Guo? Who is Guo? No, no, no. Guo is a NPE (Non-Practicing Executive). He has nothing to do with all of this.
But we did offer to bring everyone to Hong Kong to meet him.
We are sorry for all the gamesmanship and BS we put you through Kaplan. That was just a misunderstanding. We are all good people here in China.
We are willing to pay V for its troubles. How about 10 million?
Oh Z... do you really think Kaplan is going to fall for any of that crap?
Nice finish
maybe if GVR was the only catalyst
I would recommend Long, not Short, this time around.
Sounds like I should move my sell order up from 9.50 to 10.75 (not accounting for any short squeezes), but I will be sorry if it jumps to 20+
Maybe, but...
No one is interested in selling and with extremely low volume the PPS will stagnate like we have seen, but if interest in V increases and the current owners hold (looking for 1000% gains and not just 100% gains), then the PPS will have to climb.
I am surprised we haven't seen any pump-and-dumps attempts on V. My guess is a 5M volume increase could shoot it up 20-25% (until the pump is over).
Heck, a 5M increase would probably send it over a dollar.
PPS headed up
I like that...
ZTE has painted themselves into a corner out on a limb that they are sawing off.
$2 - $5 - $10 - $20
There is definitely some funny business going on here.
Well, 9.50 is not a fixed limit. I will move it (up) with each development.
I don't know who is selling, but at .58 I will be picking up some more.
Okay, okay, I will move my sell order from 7.00 to 9.50.
What do I know ... If I was in V's position with an NDA being disclosed related to licensing terms, I would seek damages related to my ability to negotiate with other companies. So, if the disclosed terms were $2.50/smart and $1.00/regular handset, then I would claim that the other 'non-licensed' companies can start at a lower point in the negotiations. Ask for damages of $1/smart and $.5/reg. Add up the sales and future sales of the non-licensed companies, let's say, Huawei, Lenovo, and others. Multiply those sales (100s of millions of handsets) by $1 and that's 100s of millions in damages. In addition, if it was an intention disclosure, then multiply those damages. What V does I dunno, but that's my case for $1B.
We found out with V vs G that sometimes a jury cannot multiply properly.
30M vs 300M
I lean towards a bench trial especially in the light of how Z has treated this case and Kaplan. Looks to be the quickest way to a judgment/dollars especially with a summary judgment or settlement.
Finish green on a red day
Sounds good!
Is this the VRNG24?
Thanks for the post
I/P Engine, Inc., Petitioner v. AOL Inc., et al.
Aug 12 2015 DISTRIBUTED for Conference of September 28, 2015
So what happens on Sep. 28?
The dots are connected.
"Google has agreed to search for and produce responsive documents, but, in response to Vringo’s requests, is not able to give a firm date for its production."
G specializes in search and it can't quickly find documents.
Lang could you help G out ... again
Bingo.
All the markets closed with injunctions (soon to include the USA) are no good for Z. You can't grow market share, if you aren't even in the market.
Settle up Z!
That's good news
Sure Z, G want to short V, but V is not alone on the long side. Nokia has a strong interest in V's success against Z - 200M worth.
Just the potential for dilution
How about another 100 million shares should not be approved at this time?
That's true!
Especially if Z settles
200 million shares will not be authorized
R/S not a big deal. If the share price was continually falling, after the R/S, the price will fall even faster.
We have been around .60 for a long time and after a R/S I would expect the new PPS to hold. Of course, if we fail on Z, then the PPS will drop whether we split, reverse split, or none of the above.
T-minus n days to Z blast off - secondary G ignition to follow
I think n < 40 days
11% rebound. Maybe tomorrow we can get back another 5-10%
Oh yeah, I have seen huge spikes as shorty tries to cover.
V stock is setting up for a big one.
The one thing that would give shorty the easy way out is if Z and V come to confidential settlement terms and we have to wait a long time (quarterly report) to try to determine what the settlement was actually worth.
12.5 days to cover is good for longs. Even if shorty sees it coming, there isn't enough volume to cover their position quickly.
A settlement (especially a short-notice settlement) will spike the price. With shorts holding 10% of V, a monumental short
squeeze should develop.
Let's hope for a huge $1B+ surprise settlement.
12.5 days for shorts to cover
ZTE will probably settle at 11:59:59.99
I hope Kaplan grants it
We might end up green ...
'We have the tools, and we have the talent.'
'It's Miller time'
Volume doesn't indicate a selloff
If the CEO had better communication with the current shareholders and potential investors I might feel differently about it. The way share price is allowed to bob without news/PR is disappointing. Shareholders can't expect large multiples on the Z win either, if the CEO can't put out a vision for that cash on hand. $400,000 is enough salary for now...
RS I don't care although I prefer not to.
Doubling the shares is a bad idea to me especially without a clear understanding what the company plans to do with the approx $50M in proceeds. Doubling executive salaries while diluting shareholder value doesn't float with me (appears the salaries have doubled since 2013, although with where the pps is those execs' stock options aren't so pretty)
How about we win one and 'right the ship' instead of this dilution crap.
