It might even get better I think.
Let's assume they make 3 dollar a bottle now, with 40% margin.
That would mean a direct cost of 1.8 dollar a bottle.
One can also assume NRTI has to take a part or most of the discount that's given at the moment. Let's just take 3 dollar again, just to have a number.
So when discounting stops, and they might be near that point as Walgreens has already tried it in July, NRTI's revenue might double overnight to 6 dollar a bottle, with a whopping 70% gross margin.
Serious disclaimer to newbies reading: these numbers are my own guesses. We don't know the actual numbers.
But the point I'm trying to make and the reason why I'm really happy with latest 10-Q: this could become an incredible money making machine. Let's just hope they get there fast enough so they don't get stuck in funding and cash flow issues.
It's a valid point, but there is an error in the calculation as NRTI does not get $10 a bottle.
Are stock markets open tomorrow?
You're right of course. I mean, Muscle Maker Grill must have brought in sth. around 60.000 (my guess) so without these we would probably have seen a decline in sales. So yes, they still have a long way to go.
But figures don't lie and gross margin is really, really good. It only takes a few sparkles to get some social media buzz these days and we might end up with a very profitable company.
It's a system called capitalism. Those with the most money earn the most. It works pretty well actually, especially for those with money (;
on a more serious note i would say it's pretty normal at this stage. They could use common stock to raise more capital but it would take thousands of fools like us to raise enough. This way is much easier. And it helps support capitalism
Happy to read you again. I was wondering a few weeks ago if you had sold it all by now, but I'm glad you didn't.
Still love your famous quote about Martha Stewart and Mary Jane.
I haven't been able to read the document yet but at first sight I'm really happy with this result. Look at how they squeezed Selling, general and administrative expense, compared to 14Q1. And the gross margin is just awesome.
I've never feeled more assured that my 300.000 shares in NRTI are representing the biggest potential in my portfolio.
I tend to agree this time (;
It will be very interesting to compare sales figures from Q1 to Q2 as the Retail network was more or less the same. It will give a nice indication imo if products are gaining traction: repeat sales etc.
And I definately agree with "it is how management will react to disappointing sales that will be more telling". It would be an all time first and would imo be very good thing to build a relation with investors
Let's see what Q results bring. There is a lot of talk here about facts, but in the end, it's sales figures, and only sales figures, which will tell if there's a future for NRTI
Agreed. If we see sth around 600K I will be happy. They're en route then to make a few M this year. Maybe 6M next year
With all this recent news I'm so happy that we're well informed about the godlike status of NRTI's management. Otherwise one might think they're preparing the market for awful sales numbers (;
Thanks - sounds good
+25% is such a beautiful number. If you still wanna sell today pls don't ruin it (;
Hi all, just stepped in today as I like the revenue increase in last Q. I think the company is really undervalued at the moment.
I've been looking at MSLP for a long time, as a benchmark for NRTI, another company I'm invested in.
Both could be doing great in the next future I think, each for their own reason
Smooth sailing today, looks like the bleeding has stopped
The spinning can only be stopped by the company itself, by giving more insight to possible investors. I would appreciate such move as it would allow to build a more solid investor base.
Next Q results are not gonna tell much, I think, as they will probably include first shipments of the gummies. That's your problem with the expanding maybe, that true sales figures are hidden by additional first shipments. Yet it's better than not expanding I think.
While not paying their royalties doesn't seem positive, I do understand in this case that we just have to trust them here. They can hardly issue a press release explaining what they want to achieve by not paying.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to see Q2 revenue. If there is a substantial increase, which is quite possible, we know good foundations are being built
Thanks. I've been thinking the same about the decline from 13Q4 to 14Q1, as it's the only acceptable explanation (; And I'm happy we more or less agree there should be an increase in sales now.
By the way, there is an interesting article about MSLP on SA this weekend. I've been comparing both companies a lot to see where we could be going. I hope NRTI will be worth such an article also in a few years time.
Curious what the ? will be. To me it's all that matters at this stage.
Let's be fair. Nice as the series is, it's not very persuasive yet. Especially the drop from $571,000 to $480,000 - without any explanation from the company - has alarmed many investors here. With good reason.
Anyway I expect revenue to be higher than ever. Hope the increase is substantial.
Haha, it's the company we hate to love. And love to hate. It's up to them to prove you wrong. Just 6 days to go and it's moment of truth again. With only one figure to look for.
If they can add improved sales to the momentum next week, we're gonna have fun
Thanks. The poor guy has Been testing too much of the New pills maybe. I really think they have a lot to gain If they would start communicating a bit more Open and clear
As i recall This was told here about walgreens but last week i saw the products still or back in promotion on their website
Thanks. Would that be on a yearly basis you think?
Thanks, but silly me - i still don't fully understand.
So if the category growth would be 2%, sales of NRTI products would have grown 12%?
Or 2.2%?
Or would it mean that their sales growth is over 10% and that this number is higher than the growth of the category as a whole?
Could you help me with "We continue to see double-digit over benchmark growth in the food channel with our partners throughout the country"
What would this mean?
Amazon shows the MS Gummies at about same sales ranking as Hair, Skin and Nails Supplement. With gummies launched at the end of Q2 this is probably not going to make much difference yet in next earnings but it could prove to be a valuable addition to the range. Sold at nearly double of the price of the pills, the gummies could also improve margins.
Bikini Ready Energy Gummies got their first feedback yesterday at Amazon and was given 5 star rating

Don't think Amazon is an important channel for NRTI, but sounds like some positive info (;
That's not a nice thing for you to say, because many people bought above .20 on your advice
In the next months they're gonna test their new pills at NRTI headquarters. Get prepared for the unexpected (;
Don't know how this is counted, but 24M is less than 10% of 300M. I also don't see him selling at this level.
I've never seen any details.
TRTC CEO Derek Peterson operates a privately held dispensary. One may assume products will be sold there, but this has actually nothing to do with TRTC.
From the pr about 1st phase, I understood NRTI owns the extraction process, though this is left a bit fuzzy.
That would leave TRTC as the supplier of the weeds.
To me it seems they're intentially vague about this parnership. I think the main purpose of announcing this 'deal' was to ride on the TRTC train for a while, when this stock was booming. In the end, NRTI can source the weed or oil everywhere. They'll soon be commodities.
Margins should be really awesome here for NRTI
See their prices

There is money to be made
On a more serious note, i did not say that they are changing their business. I say they should and I'm sure they will, but that's still to come.
I said I like what they are doing in their approach to CBD products and I especially like that they are explaining us how they are approaching this. Now we have something to support or not. That's everyone's own decision.
(You should be happy too cause only yesterday you said here the timing was all about paperwork. Now we know what they're really working on)
About changing their business, I sincerely think they need more focus. I've explained many times that I like the Bikini Ready branding and story. I read good comments about surgex, but I think they don't really have a differentiator there and competition is very tough in this market. Then there is the branded sports nutrition for this food chain. Such a deal can only have ridiculously low margins. I'd love to hear if they're actually making some money there. And I will not comment about the yoga products anymore cause I would hate to see you spill more coffee (;
Know what I really think? By the 15th of August we'll have yet another PR about their CBD approach. Giving an example of a benefit they can bring to a well defined user group, in combination with an estimation of the market size. Then we're talking.
1136 words to say you spit out your coffee? We need more focus man!
Let's hope they're doing the right thing regarding this MS deal. Not paying does not sound like a proper way to renegotiate the terms to me but maybe they've decided they might as well get out and then this could do the trick. We'll have to wait and see.
I still think the MS deal was the right thing to do to try obtain some cash generating products really fast. But figures have shown it does not work. On MS facebook you see some weird reactions every time MS promotes the products (which I have not seen her doing anymore in the last weeks). The pills somehow don't seem to fit with the MS story and crowd.
Once the truth is there, it's up to the management to acknowledge the facts and act accordingly. Probably they have to slim down the brand range to concentrate resources on things that are working best and/or could become valuable assets (which is not MS cause it's not their brand). If they want a solid investors base they should take some serious steps in that direction and communicate clearly about the steps they're taking.
In that regard the update we got yesterday sounds like a good move to me. I do not understand "our distribution and brand building initiatives to address customer demands and market competition" - that's their old voice still resonating. But the rest sounds very clear and purposeful, and they are at least communicating about what they're doing and why. And they're actually answering questions that were raised here in the last few days, which I really appreciate.
It's a clear plan and one I actually do want to support (I even added some shares yesterday and yes, I do hold 'm).
While other MJ plays are still in the phase of acknowledging that some scientific approach might be needed (I went through some of those companies PR's yesterday) this company has found a key differentiating factor and is already working to make it reality. It 'll be 2015 soon enough and they could well be in pole position to become a market leader in this niche, setting the standard for others.
I'm happy with this news. It seems they're taking our suggestions on board and giving it a go.
At these prices they don't need that many buy and hold investors to support the company through this critical phase. So I hope they take it one step further now and provide us with some real insight in what their actual plan is on how to grow this company.
I'm sick and tired of reading that this management team is the smartest in OTC land.
This company deserves real investors - people who don't show blind faith in whatever management, but people who look at action plans and decide to invest or not according to whether or not they agree with the plan and want to support it.
So I hope next financial statements will be accompanied by some decent explanation of where they are, what's working and what is not, and where they will put their focus and resources.
A good start would be to donate the yoga products business to some school project, or whatever.
Cause let's be honest. This company has some great products. They have a great story. And there is a good chance they will become a success. But so far they have not shown a lot of focus.
It's up to them now to show they're worth our support. Not because they are better management than people who should not even be allowed to run companies. But because of their action plan and the smooth execution of it.
They should be so busy that they don't even have time to be rewarding themselves with millions of shares. There will be plenty of opportunities to do that as soon as they're actually worth something.
Got a message from my broker today that access to a lot of penny stocks has been blocked - one of the categories being MJ stocks.
Could this be benificial for NRTI? I mean, if brokers put more and more limits on the MJ related stocks, NRTI could some day become one of few remaining opportunities to invest in this sector?
Dead on, with no more words than needed (;
Thanks. What i refer to is this: either MSE is important for NRTI, or it's not. If it is important for NRTI, it does not sound very "straight shooter with a solid financial background"-like to not be able to do the payments.
Also I do not agree that you can suggest in one post that NRTI is something for serious investors, and that they have to 'bet' on the chances of survival.
That's why I say that I do regret we're left in the dark about the strategy.
Thank you very much for posting - I had not noticed this part. Hope they know what they're doing. It's a shame we're left in the dark about their strategy.
Maybe we can claim our costs also (;
