Let's assume they make 3 dollar a bottle now, with 40% margin.
That would mean a direct cost of 1.8 dollar a bottle.
One can also assume NRTI has to take a part or most of the discount that's given at the moment. Let's just take 3 dollar again, just to have a number.
So when discounting stops, and they might be near that point as Walgreens has already tried it in July, NRTI's revenue might double overnight to 6 dollar a bottle, with a whopping 70% gross margin.
Serious disclaimer to newbies reading: these numbers are my own guesses. We don't know the actual numbers.
But the point I'm trying to make and the reason why I'm really happy with latest 10-Q: this could become an incredible money making machine. Let's just hope they get there fast enough so they don't get stuck in funding and cash flow issues.
