Fixed costs are fixed costs whether you are making 1 widget once a year or 10 million 365 days a year - Costs that are of course variable and dependent on production etc will increase with increasing production etc
NO worries I hear AMRN is having super secret meetings with Greenland
Favorable for the company , only favorable for me if I choose to buy stock prior
Baker Bros obviously have resources that most of us do not to analyze this stock situation . Offloading all of their shares cannot in any way be construed as a favorable action for the stock. Yes they could be wrong but more often than not they are right and that's why they are so wealthy.
AS I have said all along the only possible hope is the Healthnet case. If that is won and if Denner can remove the current nincompoops running the company there may be a chance to make some $.
I viewed winning the Healthnet case as a strong positive in the past but now even if won I have serious questions regarding AMRN's capability to capitalize on it.
I am now looking at it as more of a short play for a small blip in stock price - then once AMRN begins to manage the gift they were given price will probably drop as they apply their incompetence .
Trigs > 500 and active pancreatitis
SO Baker Bros kept the teeter totter moving and that why its been stuck the last two weeks ...
AMRN knew as did Thero, that's why he bailed.
That's why there needs to be law suites going beyond D&O coverage
When a certain person was allowed to determine what information she had to turn over and then destroyed 30,000 email by her choosing and had the hard drives erased with technology that most people would not even know exists, then tries to be cute saying she cleaned them with a washcloth and nothing, absolutely nothing was done to her I realized that indeed, it is a swamp. If that would have been any average citizen they would have served jail time for that action alone !
Why ? WOuldn't that be a hard thing to prove, that a judge in a certain district is prejudicial on certain aspects of the law ?
Greenland ... AMRN thinks they have Greenland all wound up - stock is going to boom !!
THero the shero specializing in bankrupting companies .... while personally making millions ... not a bad gig if you can get it
YEs a company with a functional marketing department would be doing that job - monitoring social media responding to the Nissen and Nissen wannabees but lets get real here - we are talking about AMRN !!
Feb 2022
If AMRN had a marketing team they would start highlighting in the media the infringement that is occurring and how generic companies are preventing innovation and how that threatens the very engine of creativity .... nah lets tweet about unicorns
Looks like Thero is working his magic at Cyteir - almost under $1 as well !! MY new strategy - find a company Thero is at ...and SHORT it !!
0/2 = 0
I think you are correct that is Med-page not Bhatt
I will have to watch it over the holidays. MAthematicians from MIT did determine the odds necessary to buy a winning tickets and would literally buy hundreds of thousands of tickets and racked up over 8 million dollars in profits . I remember there was a whole town for sale on the coast of Northern BC for 7 million - hmmmmm -
Riding that train
feeling your pain
Casey Jones better watch your greed
trouble ahead trouble behind
and that magic potion AMRN cant find
Amarin Corporation plc (NASDAQ: AMRN) today announced that Switzerland’s Swissmedic has granted approval to VAZKEPA (icosapent ethyl)
Undoubtedly either MOldova Lichtenstein or Vatican CIty might be coming on board..
YEs I know just saying that the people in the know got out

Yes I have worked with many farmers and mechanic who have built their own CRC mills, run their 3d printers, hacked into John Deere's electronics etc etc . brilliant people yet the local academics look down their nose at them while waiting for AAA to change their flat tire. Most of them cant even run a tire machine, chains saw have no idea how to build a boiler system etc etc One of the academics Upon walking into my outdoor boiler system that I set up with a heat exchanger utilizing refrigeration controls to open and close the valves one of them wanted to know "if the harmonica played musc?" its absolutely hilarious
Take a company from $26 to $1 and get paid 20 million not a bad gig if you can get it - Thero knew he blew it that's why he got out fast
UP $0.009 did Lichtenstein come on board !!
Degrees have never nor will they ever determine intelligence or capability. I have met many brilliant people without degrees and too many with degrees that couldn't change a flat tire.
AMRN's future to a very large degree is dependent on the Healthnet case. Denner is lining up his ducks but waiting on any moves until it is determined whether that avenue is open or closed - only then can he make decisions on the value and direction of this company.
SO until then ride the teeter totter which Iwanderer apparently kick started again and have some fun and make some money !!
If Grifters Inc, ( Formerly EUNUCHA formerly AMRN) had a functional legal department they would be sending cease and desist notices to every insurer and PBM that is illegally infringing on REDUCE IT Patents but of course that would infringe on skiing time in Switzerland so why bother
I seem to remember that Judge DU clearly spelled out in her ruling that in no way she gave generics the right to infringe on REDUCE IT patents
but we are back to square one who is doing the infringing ?
is it the doctor
the patient
the pharmacist
the PBM
the insurers
or the manufacturer ?
each one points the finger at another and AMRN keeps going round in circles. Personally I would go after insurer and PBM's and large chain pharmacies that choose to make the substitution
But Judge Du will say she clearly stated that the CAD patents for AMRN should remain intact ...
Exactly - all of that has cost AMRN a fortune in lost revenues as a result of lost time and has done immeasurable harm to the shareholders
LOvaza is way better at lowering trigs - but again not the whole picture as EPA lowers other markers of inflammation better. For trigs > 500 lovaza, for trigs 150 - 500 and need to lower CVD risk - EPA
The only reason they are looking at settlement is they need to get moving ASAP - IF this goes to trial they are tied up for another two years and will be under water by then. SO they have to try and settle - but settlement has much less impact than losing at trial and may have no impact on other insurers - it all depends on what is contained in the settlement. If HEalthnet admits no wrong doing then every other insure will continue business as usual
Thirty seconds left in the match AMRN down by ten points. THey either pin Healthnet or go home witt their tail between their legs - this is their LAST chance and is the only reason I have continuing ff this stock ( other than the free entertainment provided here).
Just remember even if they win Healthnet - you have Mr. Bean and crew running the company unless Denner steps in.
Because it would have been an admission that they are buffoons and missed it -but of course everyone now realizes they are buffoons. They will go down as the prime example of how a great product can be destroyed by incompetent management
